<![CDATA[Abstract: A lot of students’ difficulties are caused by a poor understanding of the concept. It caused by the poor understanding of basic concepts and misconceptions. Electromagnetic inductions’ concept is one of the difficulties. The purpose of this research is to analyze the understanding of the physics education student concept. A total of 102 respondents from bachelor and postgraduate level were given three optional questions. The results show that there is a difference in the achievement of the correct answer on each item. Through the explanation of this reason it is known that the students’ understanding who have taken the course previously uneven. Therefore it is necessary to be given a lesson that facilitates students to learn well and maximally.Abstrak: Berbagai kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa disebabkan oleh pemahaman konsep yang kurang baik. Pemahaman konsep dasar yang tidak baik dan miskonsepsi menjadi penyebabnya. Konsep induksi elektromagnetik merupakan salah satu yang masih banyak memiliki kesulitan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pendidikan Fisika tentang konsep tersebut. Sebanyak 102 responden dari jenjang sarjana dan pascasarjana diberikan tiga soal pilihan ganda beralasan. Hasilnya menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan capaian jawaban benar pada setiap butir. Melalui uraian alasan ini diketahui bahwa pemahaman konsep mahasiswa yang telah menempuh matakuliah tersebut sebelumnya tidak merata. Oleh sebab itu, perlu diberikan pembelajaran yang memfasilitasi mahasiswa agar belajar dengan baik dan maksimal.]]>
