<![CDATA[Fikih aurat dalam ranah beragam pendapat ulama dan cendekiawan kontemporer. Fikih aurat akan menghasilkan fikih hijab. Dimana hijab terdiri dari jilbab, khimar, burqah, dir sabigh, milhafat, dan sebagainya. Melalui istidlal, para ulama fikih (baca: al-fuqaha) telah merumuskan batasan aurat bagi wanita dan pria, baik di luar atau di dalam rumah atau di dalam ibadah semisal shalat, ihram, dan sebagainya. Istidlal ulama-ulama ini tidak dianggap mewakili ajaran islam. Maka hadirlah para cendekiawan kontemporer dengan metode istiqra< mengorek kembali dalil-dalil yang digunakan oleh para ulama dan menghadirkan pandangan bahwa jilbab itu tidak wajib. Dan dianggap inilah ajaran Islam yang membebaskan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan mengurai 4 tokoh feminis muslim yang dirasa dapat mewakili latarbelakang para penggugat jilbab.
