Melakukan transaksi peminjaman buku, pengelolaan data buku,pengelolaan denda, pengelolaan donasi, serta pengelolaan pendaftaran anggota perpustakaan secara offline sangatlah tidak efektif dan memakan waktu. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mengelola perpustakaan secara efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem informasi manajemen perpustakaan di SMK Semen Padang. Perancangan dalam sistem informasi ini menggunakan metode waterfall model, yaitu sebuah metode yang sangat struktural, dimana langkah-langkah dari metode ini adalah: proses perencanaan, analisa, desain, dan implementasi pada sistem. Arsitektur dalam merancang sistem informasi manajemen perpustakaan ini menggunakan arsitektur MVC (model,view,controller). Fitur utama dari aplikasi ini adalah: manajemen user, pengelolaan transaksi peminjaman, pengelolaan buku, pengelolaan donasi, pengelolaan denda, dan pengelolaan kritik dan saran. Sistem dibangun menggunakan framework codeigniter yaitu sebuah framework yang dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP. Dengan melakukan uji coba mandiri terhadap sistem yang dikembangkan, maka didapatkan hasil bahwa aplikasi sistem informasi perpustakaan ini dapat mempermudah dalam pengelolaan transaksi peminjaman buku, pengelolaan buku, pengelolaan keuangan, dan pengelolaan kritik saran.Kata kunci : Sistem Informasi, Manajemen Perpustakaan, Framework Codeigniter Performing book lending transactions, managing book data, managing fines, managing donations, and managing offline library member registrations is very ineffective and time consuming. The purpose of this research is to build a library management information system at SMK Semen Padang. The design in this information system uses the prototype model method, that is, a very structural method, where the steps of this method are: the planning process, analysis, design, and implementation of the system. The architecture in designing this library management information system uses the MVC architecture (model, view, controller). The main features of this application are: user management, loan transaction management, book management, donation management, penalty management, and criticism and suggestions management. The system is built using a codeigniter framework, which is a framework built using the PHP programming language. By conducting independent trials of the developed system, the results show that this library information system application can facilitate the management of book lending transactions, book management, financial management, and management of criticism suggestions.Keywords: Information System, library management, Framework Codeigniter.

The rapid development of the computer world that brings every individual or group of people will use information and communication technology in every activity. Likewise in the world of education, including libraries that utilize information and communication technology in managing the process of borrowing and returning library books. The benefits of making a web-based library information system include being able to save time where there is no need for manual recording, making it easier to find book data or library members, making it easier in making book loan reports and other reports and other benefits. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The making of software is done by a waterfall model consisting of: (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) implementation, and (4) testing. Then UML visual modeling is used which is the standardization of modeling language for object-oriented software development. The expected results of this study produce a web-based library information system using the YII Framework with MVC (Model View Controller) method in SMK Plus Pratama Adi Bandung that can solve existing problems. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to build a library information system in SMK Plus Pratama Adi Bandung so that it can present accurate and efficient information. The purpose of this research is to produce a library information system.

Pada SMP Negeri 26 Semarang, pengolahan data perpustakaannya masih menggunakan cara manual, sehingga pengurus perpustakaan merasa kesulitan untuk mengolah data perpustakaan yang seharusnya dapat dikerjakan dalam waktu yang singkat dan minim terjadinya kesalahan. Pada proses pendataan buku, anggota, peminjaman, pengembalian, kas dan pembuatan rekap laporan, SMP Negeri 26 Semarang masih menggunakan buku catatan sehingga mengalami beberapa masalah seperti terjadi input data ganda, pemberian kode buku yang kurang konsisten, buku yang digunakan untuk mencatat dapat rusak atau hilang, data tidak tersimpan dengan rapi. Dalam pembuatan sistem ini, metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi (pengamatan) dan interview (wawancara). Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP) dan pembuatan program dengan Sublime Text, XAMPP, Chrome Browser. Tujuan dalam pembuatan sistem perpustakaan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan sebuah program yang nantiya dapat membantu pihak sekolah dalam mengelola data-data perpustakaanOn 26 Semarang Public Junior High School, library data processing still using manual procedure, so the library management feels trouble for processing data library which should be done in a short time and have minimum mistake. In the process of collecting books data, user data, loan data, data return, treasury data, 26 Semarang Public Junior High School still using notebook so they experiencing problems like multiple data input, not consistent when processing books code, notebook damaged, and data is not stored neatly. In making this system, method of collecting data done by observation and interview. Using Extreme Programming (XP) in this system development, and using Sublime Text, XAMPP, Chrome Browser for creting this system. the purpose of making this system is expected to produce a program that later on can help the school in processing data library

Penggunaan sistem informasi di perpustakaan sekarang sudah tidak asing lagi, dengan adanya otomasi sistem informasi terintegrasi yang dapat memudahkan dan meningkatkan kinerja seluruh elemen-elemen fisik maupun nonfisik. Proses yang berkaitan adalah seperti menyediakan informasi, mendukung operasi dalam proses registrasi, katalogisasi, pelaporan, pengolahan data anggota sampai proses peminjaman dan pengembalian koleksi buku beserta aturan-aturannya seperti lamanya peminjaman dan sanksi keterlambatan pengembalian buku. Pada saat proses pendaftaran anggota baru yang sedang berjalan masih dilakukan dengan secara manual dimana calon anggota harus mengisi formulir data di kertas yang diberikan oleh petugas perpustakaan untuk di bawa pulang dan melengkapi syarat-syarat yang diberikan. Kegiatan tersebut tentunya akan berdampak pada proses pelayanan yang memakan waktu dan biaya dikarenakan setiap masing-masing calon anggota diberikan lembaran kertas untuk proses pendaftaran. Dengan adanya sistem informasi pendaftaran ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses pendaftaran calon anggota perpustakaan baru. Melalui sistem informasi berbasikan website yang dapat di akses dari mana saja baik dari perangkat komputer maupun smartphone tentunya akan sangat mengurangi waktu dan biaya baik bagi calon anggota maupun pihak perpustakaan.

Sistem informasi perpustakaan MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz merupakan sistem informasi yang mengolola administrasi perpustakaan. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian di MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz adalah untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah perancangan sistem informasi perpustakaan untuk membantu dan mempermudah pengelolaan kegiatan administrasi perpustakaan MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz dan mengetahui langkah-langkah pengoprasian sistem dengan menyajikan buku panduan pengoprasian. Desain penelitian perancangan sistem informasi perpustakaan menggunakan metode research and development (R&D), dengan prosedur pengembangan menggunakan model prototyping. Hasil uji coba lapangan dengan penilain kualitas sistem mendapatkan rata-rata 3,5 dan presentase 89%, navigasi mendapat rata-rata 3,6 dan presentase 90%, kepuasan terhadap pengguna mendapatkan rata-rata 3,6 dan presentase 89%, dan dampak bagi MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz mendapatkan rata-rata 3,6 dan presentase 90%, kemudahan memahami buku panduan oleh responden mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,4 dan presentase 86% dengan kesimpulan sangat baik. Disimpulkan perancangan sistem informasi perpustakaan MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz secara keseluruhan mendapat predikat sangat baik.

Abstrak: Perpustakaan pada umumnya merupakan tempat yang memiliki fungsi sebagai pusat sumber belajar dan sumber informasi bagi para pemakainya. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai seorang staf perpustakaan, mereka biasanya memiliki berbagai masalah yang dihadapi seperti proses pengolahan data yang manual ataupun menginformasikan kepada anggota perpustakaan untuk mengembalikan buku yang telah melewati batas waktu peminjaman. Masalah inilah yang kini ada di perpustakaan sekolah. Untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah yang ada maka perlunya dibuat sebuah aplikasi perpustakaan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dengan dipadukan layanan internet dan email. Maka dari itu penulis mencoba membuat Penelitian mengenai sistem informasi perpustakaan dengan metode waterfall model serta berbasis website yang dilengkapi sistem email reminder. Sistem ini merupakan solusi yang terbaik guna mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada pada perpustakaan sekolah, sehingga proses pengolahan data akan menjadi lebih mudah, cepat, tepat dan akurat. Selain itu, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet dan email lebih memudahkan petugas perpustakaan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai batas waktu peminjaman buku. Sistem ini membuat proses menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya. In carrying out their duties as library staff, they usually have various problems, such as manual processing of data or informing library members to return books that have passed the borrowed time limit. This problem is now in the library of school. To solve the existing problems, it is necessary to make a library application by utilizing information technology combined with internet and email services. Therefore, the author tries to make research on library information systems with the waterfall model method and website-based program equipped with an email reminder system. This system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in the school library, so that the data processing will be easier, faster, more precise and accurate. In addition, utilizing internet and email technology makes it easier for librarians to provide information about the deadline for borrowing books. Libraries have books that are references or sources of knowledge that they want to know, sometimes even this information cannot be searched on the internet so that the number of books in the library is very large. With so many books in the library, of course, a system is needed to organize all the books so that these books can be recorded properly so as to reduce the risk of book census errors such as the number of books, borrowers, categories and also the delivery of more detailed information for books. because of that, it takes an information system design for a library. In designing an information system, a concept or research method is needed that can minimize mistakes in the flow of application creation, the method used is Waterfall modeling of this method, an application is made using Java Netbeans with MySQL database. By using this method, the application can run according to the flow, namely the details of the books in the library are in harmony with the actual situation and a decrease in data errors resulting in the loss of some information in the library such as the number of books, the number of borrowings, book details and so on. It makes it easier for users to find the information they want.

The library is a source of learning that must be owned by every school and even college. Based on the results of interviews regarding the problems faced by SMAN 4 TAMBUN SELATAN, all activities carried out in the library are still using the manual system, so it takes a long time to search for data. so that the problem will have an impact on the process of making library reports that must be reported every month. To solve this problem, a change is needed from a manual system to a computerized system. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based library management information system. Therefore for improve a service at school. This information system consists of 2 actors, namely the library admin and students. The method used to carry out this development is the waterfall method which consists of needs analysis, system design, implementation, system testing, and system maintenance. This system was developed using the PHP programming language, the database used is MySQL. The testing technique used is Black-Box Testing (Alpha) and UAT User Acceptance Testing (Beta). The results of the Black-Box Testing with 25 test scenarios can be concluded that the application has been running well with a success percentage of 100% and the results of the UAT based on the level of user acceptance of the entire system are very good, with a percentage of 92%.

The library is very important in supporting the knowledge and information of students in school because the library is part of the learning resources that must be owned by the school; hence the library is often referred to as the heart of education. At present, the Santo Yoseph Medan High School Library, which is currently processing its library, has not been computerized, making it difficult to process loan transactions and return books, and register as a member and award fines. For this reason, SMA Santo Yoseph Medan requires a library that has a web-based library system. The tool used to design this library information system is to use the PHP and MySql programming languages. The results of this web-based library information system design are expected to help library administrators in the process of borrowing and returning books, processing book data and members, and making library data reports.

The Library of Sahid University at Surakarta still used a manual data processing system by a human. This procedures has some weakness, specially mistake error andused a long time during searching or recording the data.The purpose of this research is to develop the information and data processing system at Sahid University Library. Thesystem that been developed is information and data processing that previously done by human converted to computer based system. These changes are necessary to facilitate data processing and presentation of information properly in order to avoid the weakness a manual system. This research use an object methode, that built depend on library necessary both visitors and library staff. A system can be called qualified if it meets several criteria ofquality. Software quality measurement in this study using McCall methodes with five factors include of correctness, reliability, eficiency, usability and maintenance. Thismethode had chosen because of this methode is familiar and good to measure the quality of software. The resulting product of this research is library information system based from the object that built depend on library necessary. The advantages of this system is moreeasy to finding a book or catalog like borrowing or repayment transactions, input of book data and member and also more easy to make the reports. Finally, the result is thesystem with McCall methodes have 77,151% total quality, that means this system can be applied at Sahid University Library to simplify the data processing and presentation all about Library information.
