Abstract

The purpose of this study are to this style of figurative language in Sihir Pambayun novel by Joko Santoso(a) Describe the personification style, (b) describe the metaphor, and (c) the style Simile. The research uses descriptive qualitative method-semoitik structuralism and hermeneutictechniques. This is done because analyzing a novel is hard to avoid the use of integratedmethods so that it is impossible to use. Study the style offigurative language (figurative) are purposely created to obtain the aesthetic effect todescribe the background of the story.

Abstract

The research objective is to describe (1) how far the skills of teachers in explaining the form of mathematical models. (2) student achievement through improving the skills of teachers while teaching in class XI Power Installation Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Lamongan. This study uses three phases: pre-cycle, the first cycle and the second cycle. On average obtained pre-cycle - active student average is still 50% to 33.33% mastery learning outcomes, in cycle 1 active students gained an average of 64.30% and the percentage of learning outcomes is 59.26%. While on the second cycle of 27 gained an average of student activity increased to 80.56%, with a percentage of student learning outcomes that have been completed is 92.95%. Of the three stages is clear that there is an increase after application of learning.

Abstract

Literature is the result of a portrait of human life in general. The result of human life portrait was modified in various forms literature both poetry and prose. Authors conducted research on novel "Api tauhid" Habiburrahman El Shirazy because the story is about the history that introduces the figure Said Bediuzzaman Nursi. Ingenuity and perseverance in the study also maintained his faith. The focus of this thesis research is to describe the value of religious values in the "Api Tauhid" Habiburrahman El shirazi. The results of this study, the authors found (1) experience the value of religious values (2) the persistence of the main character, in practice the values of religious his faith and (3) a function of experience values religious value of the novel lies in controlling the passions, creating empathy for others, and uplifting life.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the implementation of discussion method in learning of PKn lesson on the material of organizaion and to know its influence in order to improve the students’ achievement. The study used Classroom Action Research method with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, those are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection was done using students observation sheet and achievement test in each cycle. Furthermore, the data was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study result could be seen from the presentation of the students activity average at thefirst cycle that is 69 in moderate active category and has been improving at the second cycle to be 81 in active category. The students completness at the first cycle only 6 students (62%) and has been improving at the second cycle to be 8 students (100%). The conclusion of the study showed that the implementation of discussion method can improve the students achievement at the learning of PKn lesson on the material of Organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the character of Habibie, (2) the character of Ainun, and (3) view of life Habibiein the Habibie and AinunworkedBaharuddinJusufHabibie. Based on data analysis and discussion undertaken in the novel Ainun Habibie and this can be concluded that: a live view of the behavior BJ Habibie culture, religion, and science and technology (science and technology). Everything should be formed in a positive synergy, because these three things is what will determine everything. Cultural behavior must be owned entrepreneurs because they reflect as a nation of Indonesia. Whatever the achievements, even abroad, an entrepreneur will bring a sense of nationalism is high, so a love of culture is never forgotten. Religious behavior is also an important thing as something that will lead to step into direction remains positive.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe (1) the improvement of Science learning achievement about The growing of Plant through Experimental Method, and (2) The implementation of Experimental method on the material of the Growing of Plant at the first graders of the second state elementary school Kranji, Lamongan. The study was done using classroom action research which is divided into two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, those are remidial planning, (2) remidial action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The study was done at the second state elementary school Kranji, Tepanas – Kranji village, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency with the remidial subject 11 students in the low class. From the result could be concluded that the implementation of experimental method can improve the Science learning achievement about the growing of plant at the first graders of the second state elementary school Kranji, Tepanas, Kranji Village, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to improve student learning achievement on Civics learning material delivered by the teacher, namely by using media props in the form of pictures of the meaning of democracy. through a cooperative learning approach, it is hoped that it can re-grow student learning motivation and can improve student achievement on subject matter. Data was collected by giving written tests to students to determine the extent of students' level of understanding of the subject matter as well as from the observations of peers. Students who get a score of 70 to 100 are considered complete in learning, while students who get less than 70 grades are considered incomplete in learning. Seeing the results of Classroom Action Research (PTK) through the application of cooperative learning with the image media of the meaning of democracy, it turns out that it can re-motivate students to learn and can improve students' learning achievement on the subject matter. This can be proven from the results of improvements in cycle I and cycle II that have been implemented experiencing an increase in learning achievement, namely from the initial condition of completeness which only reached 20.83% 58.33% in the first cycle and became 83.33% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are: (1) Overcoming the difficulties of speaking properly and correctly, and (2) improving student learning outcomes through a Dramatization strategy on Indonesian Language subjects in fifth grade students of Lebakadi II Elementary School, Sugio Subdistrict, Lamongan District, 2017 Academic Year / 2018. This research takes place in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data collected in the form of observational data on teacher activity, student active role, and competency test scores. The results showed that there was an increase in teacher activity which had not been optimal (before the cycle) increased to 75% (cycle I), and in the second cycle the teacher's activity was 100%. Student activity and achievement which was originally low 55.28 (before the cycle) rose to 62.96% (cycle I). In the second cycle, several variations of treatment were carried out to increase student activity and achievement to increase to 75.93%. It can be concluded that: (1) The use of dramatization strategies in Indonesian language learning can overcome the good and right speaking difficulties, and (2) the learning outcomes of students at Lebakadi II Elementary School in Sugio District in learning Indonesian through the Dramatization strategy can increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using number card game methods on students' numeracy skills in class II Lopang II Public Elementary School, Kembangbahu District, Lamongan District. This study uses classroom action research method, consisting of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle there were 11 students who experienced individual learning completeness from 18 students (61%) showed that this cycle had not experienced classical completeness. In cycle II there were 17 students who experienced individual learning completeness from 18 students (94%) showed that this cycle had experienced classical completeness. And the increase in the average value of students is 66.67 in the first cycle to 82.50 in the second cycle. From the data above, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the number card game method on increasing students' ability to count.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of PKN learning outcomes by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to the concept of environmental pollution. This research was carried out in SMP Negeri 2 Karangbinangun. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, PTK is implemented as an effort to overcome problems that arise in the classroom. This method is carried out in four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. These four stages are cycles that take place repeatedly and are carried out with the same steps and are focused on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning. Based on the results of research that has been done shows that student learning outcomes have increased. This increase can be seen through the cycle that has been done. In the first cycle the average student learning outcomes were 69. While in the second cycle the average student learning outcomes were 76. Thus it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model can improve PKN learning outcomes for students in class VI SD Negeri Banyuurip Karangbinangun on the matter of Indonesian Foreign Policy.
