This journal contains the works of authors and researchers who have competence in their skills. A vision of the journal Raheema is: Realizing the scientific community who have vision, knowledge, awareness, and concern about Gender and Children. While the mission of the journal Raheema is: First, Being the Information Center and the study of science on Gender and Children for all academics and the general public. Second, Making Media Journal Raheema as scientific publications Gender and Child-quality, innovative and competitive locally, nationally, and internationally. Third, to accommodate, to develop the knowledge, insight, and ideas of the author and researcher in the field of Gender and Children. Raheema journal is published twice a year, namely in June and December.

Abstract

Based on the facts and society complaints on National Child Protection Commission along 2010-2014, the commission concludes that nowadays Indonesia is in the state of “emergency” especially for child violences. Furthermore, the numerous cases of student abuse in madrasah highly rise. This writing elaborates how to manage the leadership and non-violence study towards student in madrasah. Moreover, the action is implemented without violence acts and languages.

Abstract

Domestic Violence can happen to anyone, even though the family is considered as the best place for children's development. Some reports indicate that children in the family, often the victims of violence perpetrated by family members either directly or indirectly. Whereas the effects of this violence have the possibility of the same in the form of psychological trauma for children and eventually lead them to have a false perception of the violence, and assume that violence is one right way to resolve the issue. The experience of watching, hearing, even experienced violence in the family will no doubt lead to negative effects on the psychological of children. There are among children who experienced violence as a child, suffered prolonged trauma and lead to behavioral depression. But there are also some cases that actually show that children who have experienced violence in the past would later become perpetrators of the same crime as the first ever experienced. Not only short- term treatment should be the primary focus of handling trauma cases occurring in children. But should also be pursued in the long-term handling of recovery of post-traumatic stress disorder on children who have been traumatized. So, while reviving confidence in children, the support of families and civils become very important in creating a healthy environment for the child that lives in the present and future.

Abstract

Islam is the graceful religion that gives the rules towards women about how they act to their husband in domestic environment in order to build the togetherness fairly. Not to mention in the marriage life, the roles of wives are very important. They should behave politely, sweetly, kindly, and full of love and trust to their husband. Besides, a wife also should try to possess the adorable acts towards the husband. Moreover, as a mother for her children, a woman should also able to afford the rights and obligations to the children based on their physical dan psychological development, so that the children could contribute to the religion, country, and their nation.

Abstract

Tumbuhkembang anak baik fisik maupun fsikis adalah yang utama. Bangunan kepercayaan anak dalam menerima kasih sayang orangtua sepanjang pengasuhan membutuhkan hubungan interaksi yang kontinyu. Sepanjang perjalanan anak menuju dewasa tak jarang menimbulkan problem tersendiri bagi anak. Hubungan yang tidak harmonis, pemaksaan kehendak dan orangtua berposisi sebagai pemilik anak, sejatinya telah menjerumuskan anak sebagai korban dari perilaku orangtua. Sehingga tak jarang menimbulkan kekerberasan pada anak dalam berbagai bentuk yang terus saja menjadi trending topik di masyarakat. Kekerasan pada anak telah berakibat fatal pada perkembangannya dalam keluarga maupun lingkungan hal ini ditunjukkan dengan semakin meningkatnya kasus kekerasan maupun kejahatan pada anak. Memupuk komunikasi sejak dini menjadi salah satu pra syarat yang dibutuhkan dalam membangun hubungan orangtua dan anak. Dalam Islam komunikasi ini dikenal mulai sejak dari dalam kandungan. Berbagai manfaat positif ditimbulkan dari hubungan komunikasi yang baik antara orangtua dan anak. Hal ini menjadi langkah terdekat bagi orangtua dan keluarga dalam mencegah meningkatnya kekerasan pada anak.

Abstract

Multicultural education is a false sosial device to boost the schools’ participation in order to build the awareness of multicultural society. It will be useful to strengthen the tolerance to realize the ability of working together above the differences. Teachers are the important roles on spreading the multicultural values to create the harmonious community. Furthermore, teachers are expected to introduce the symbols of nationality insight through the education process in the class or in the vast society. Besides, teachers are supposed to actively participate on the development of multiculturalism in Indonesia. So that, the exclusivity which triggers the interpersona or group conflict could be decreased. Teachers, particularly the religion teacher should teach not only the values in the religion’s rituals, but also the universal values, such as justice, equality, humanity, kindness, honesty, and so on. Therefore, the religion teacher should thoughtfully profound the universal concepts believed by their own religion.

Abstract

Nowadays, television could not be separated from sophisticated people. Furthermore, for the most of people, television is an accompanying. Meanwhile, it is used as a source of information and entertainment for others. The modern people evenly depend on television. However, television does not merely afford the enjoyment and educative values, it also possesses the dark sides and negative effects. Based on Cultivation Theory, people who watch television intensely more than 4 hours tend to construct the aired program as a reality. It is similar to Indonesian television businesses, due to the number of advertisements, not all programs could be watched. For instance, Ganteng-ganteng Srigala, 7 Manusia Harimau, Naruto and so forth, contain the negative values, such as anarchism, vandalism, and sensuality. Eventually, if the adults do not undertake the strengthening effort to filter the negative programs, the audiences perhaps will fall to the negative values of television.

Abstract

Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Dasar Republik Indonesia Nomor 23 Tahun 2002 ke Undang-Undang Dasar Republik Indonesia Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak sedikit banyak memberi harapan kepada anak-anak Indonesia dalam mendapat hak-hak positif demi kehidupan yang cerah di masa akan datang. Hal tersebut tertuang di Pasal 21 Ayat 1 bahwa Negara, Pemerintah, dan Pemerintah Daerah berkewajiban dan bertanggungjawab menghormati pemenuhan Hak Anak tanpa membedakan suku, agama, ras, golongan, jenis kelamin, etnik, budaya dan bahasa, status hukum, urutan kelahiran, dan kondisi fisik dan/atau mental. Selanjutnya Pasal 21 Ayat 2 menyatakan untuk menjamin pemenuhan Hak Anak sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1), negara berkewajiban memenuhi, melindungi, dan menghormati Hak Anak. Kemudian pada Ayat 3 menjelaskan bahwa untuk menjamin pemenuhan Hak Anak sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1), Pemerintah berkewajiban dan bertanggung jawab dalam merumuskan dan melaksanakan kebijakan di bidang penyelenggaraan Perlindungan Anak.

Abstract

There are many types and causes in a violence behavior. One of the action in the domestic field is the violence performed by parents, family, and the close neighborhood on children. Furthermore, the children abuse violates the human rights since as a humankind, children have the rights even from their birthday. The children assault will dangerously cause the fatal result, physically and psychologically on a child. The violences on children are the act against the laws, UN Declaration about Human Rights and UU RI No. 39 Tahun 1999 verse 53. Besides, Islam prohibits the violent acts on children as well.

Abstract

The case of violences in education is often seen in Indonesia. The education institution should appropriately be the place to create the real mankind. Furthermore, it also prepares the smart generation, emotionally and spiritually. Despite it is not always a core of student development. Moreover, the abuse acts always happening are the indicator that the education process is still far from humanity values. Education, furthermore, is not only the obligation of spiritual dedication, especially for Moslem man and woman, but also as a place that should produce the scholars. Besides, they are prepared for accomplishing the humanity problems, for instance, poverty, idiocy, suppression, and terrorism. Therefore, education contributes to prevent and reduce conflict. Then, it is also designed specifically to counter violences. Overall, a concept of effective education of applying the study method absorbed by religious and cultural values.

Abstract

The violence behavior on children is often performed by the closest people of them, such as parents, family, and school environment. There are four categories of violence acts on children: negligence, physical assault, psychological and emotional harassment, and sexual harassment. This paper explores the counseling or the supporting towards the children experiencing the violence behaviors. Furthermore, those behaviors include the types of abuse acts, the causes of violence acts, and the counseling given to the children and family that encounter the violence behaviors.
