Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena rapuhnya konsep identitas etnis dalam masyarakat multikultural. Identitas bukan sebatas menunjuk pada sesuatu yang melekat secara permanen pada individu, tetapi juga pada sesuatu yang terus mengalami perkembangan dan transformasi melalui dasar keyakinan (reiligi). Identitas etnis memang seringkali dikaitkan dengan perbedaan ras, agama, tanah kelahiran, dan latar belakang historis. Perbedaan ini, meskipun demikian, tidak menjadi sesuatu yang dipermasalahkan ketika individu berpindah agama ke Islam. Konversi agama lain ke Islam sebagai konsekuensinya mempengaruhi sejauhmana seseorang diakui sebagai bagian dari etnis tertentu. Studi ini dilakukan pada etnis Dayak, Melayu dan Tionghoa di Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat dengan pengumpulan informasi melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang etnis cenderung tidak berperan dalam praktik interaksi sosial yang bersifat multilateral. Dalam konteks ini, kelompok-kelompok etnis beserta anggotanya, justru lebih mudah dipersatukan oleh kesamaan etnis-keagamaan (etno-religius) dibandingkan faktor-faktor lainnya. Disinilah siklus etnisitas telah kembali pada fase klasik dimana pembentukan etnis tidak hanya ditentukan oleh latar belakang historis, wilayah, dan pertalian darah melainkan juga agama.

Abstract

Technological advances have encouraged the raise of a variety of social media services features which are more and more innovative, interesting, and variative. This technological development impacting in human civilization, especially pertaining to multidimensional as well as multilateral interaction. The benefit of social media was accompanied by the negative side, such as slander, conflict, nation- disintegration, and separatism. This is a qualitative research applying case- study approach. The instruments used in this research are documentation, observation, and library research. The conclusion is that education has an important role in using social media. Otherwise, social media will only be used as the media for committing crime, including disseminating tendentious words, hoax, and propaganda

Abstract

Pontianak Malay’s society is not only limited to the Malay ethnic group who lives near the Kapuas River, but they also have a tradition that is created from the habit and Islamic learning. This paper is initiated by the study that has been conducted by the researchers in 2016 implementing qualitative descriptive method. The data collection tools consist of observation, documentation and interview. The reason for choosing this method is to discover and reveal the meaning or the ideology of the symbols contained in the corak insang weave. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded as the first conclusion that the process to make corak insang weave needs sufficient time about one week. Corak insang weave can be formed in the manufacture of other woven fabrics, through the patches weave method, songket and bundle weave. The second conclusion shows that it is unfounded that a lot of physical evidence and historical documents or from sources are related to the meanings contained in Pontianak corak insang weave motive.

Abstract

Abstract: The more rapid technological progress is marked by the cheapness and easier of people to connect in social media. This thing makes the number of users increasing significantly every year. In addition, a variety of social media features come on the market also encourage users to share every activities, knowledge, opinions, writings, even reconnect their relationship with old friends who are separate without limits of time and place. But the existence of social media doesn’t always have a positive effect, some individuals or even groups use this service as a means of spreading a false news or known as Hoax. The spread of this news is a strartegi to drop others, causing panic, and gave rise to debate. The genesis of misunderstanding as a result of the spread hoax was able to invite hostility which is if left unchecked and arounding on a large scale could lead to World War that lead to mass killings, poverty and hunger. Tarbiyah dzatiyah as a self-learning approach to create a perfect Islamic personality throughout his side start from scientific, faith, morals, social and other. Is one solution that can be offered to prevent hoax news in social media, because tarbiyah dzatiyah teach every individual to start everything from the smallest, from ourselves, and from now on. Abstract

This article aims to investigate implementation of Islamic Education Mentoring program in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The research method used was qualitative-descriptive. The results of program implementation are: First, the implementation of the Islamic Religious Education mentoring program in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak was carried out through three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Second, several factors supporting the implementation of Islamic Religious Education mentoring programs include the active role of the Principal, educators and education personnel as well as the involvement of Rohis and the inhibiting factors are the lack of time to organize activities, limited resources, and the large amount of financial expenditure from the plan. This budget deficit causes the mentoring program run not optimally as it should be like the implementation of rihlah (religious tourism). The last probem was an unavailability PAI mentoring module for participants.

Abstract

Butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) is an enzyme found in plasma and many other parts of the body. It is enzyme that hydrolyses drugs containing ester bonds such as drugs acting at the neuromuscular junction (succinylcholine) and local anaesthetics (procaine). Examination of the gene for mutations or polymorphisms causing the observed biochemical phenotypes has isolated those responsible for all the most widely known variants. The molecular bases of several genetic variants of BChE have been reported, such as the Atypical variant, fluoride-resistant variant, silent variant, K variant, J variant and C5 variant. In general, BChE polymorphisms have been shown to produce enzymes with varying levels of catalytic activity. Genetic variants of human butyrylcholinesterase were one of the first examples in the new field of pharmacogenetics when it was recognized that abnormal response to the succinylcholine was due to a mutated enzyme with low binding affinity. Beside that, variant of BChE has potential impact for Alzheimer disease patology.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas tentang banyaknya Madarasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Kubu Raya yang belum terakreditasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan perencanaan program pendampingan akreditasi Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Kubu Raya, dan pelaksanaannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) atau juga dikenal dengan penelitian aksi bersama. Instrument atau alat pengumpulan datanya adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan lembar penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diketahui bahwa: 1) Kegiatan perencanaan progam pendampingan akreditasi madrasah dilakukan dengan workshop yang melibatkan Kepala Sekolah, Kemenag Kabupaten Kubu Raya dan prodi PGMI IAIN Pontianak. 2) Pelaksanaan program pendampingan madrasah ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Kubu Raya dilakukan melalui 2 siklus kegiatan workshop dalam memahami 8 standar akreditasi. Abstract. This study discusses the number of Islamic elementary schools in Kubu Raya Regency that have not been accredited. This study aims to determine the planning activities of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah accreditation assistance programs in Kubu Raya Regency, and their implementation. The method used in this research is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach or also known as joint action research. Instruments or data collection tools are observations, interviews, documentation and assessment sheets. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that: 1) The planning activities of the madrasah accreditation mentoring program were carried out by workshops involving the Principal, the Ministry of Religion of Kubu Raya Regency and the PGMI IAIN Pontianak study program. 2) Implementation of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah mentoring program in Kubu Raya Regency is carried out through 2 cycles of workshop activities in understanding 8 accreditation standards.

Abstract

The case of violences in education is often seen in Indonesia. The education institution should appropriately be the place to create the real mankind. Furthermore, it also prepares the smart generation, emotionally and spiritually. Despite it is not always a core of student development. Moreover, the abuse acts always happening are the indicator that the education process is still far from humanity values. Education, furthermore, is not only the obligation of spiritual dedication, especially for Moslem man and woman, but also as a place that should produce the scholars. Besides, they are prepared for accomplishing the humanity problems, for instance, poverty, idiocy, suppression, and terrorism. Therefore, education contributes to prevent and reduce conflict. Then, it is also designed specifically to counter violences. Overall, a concept of effective education of applying the study method absorbed by religious and cultural values.

Abstract

The education of akhlaq in the Islamic University basically has suited the purpose of national education, to create the potential of students in order to be a great human. Furthermore, as a part of the national education system, the Islamic University has a significant role to actualize the function and goal of the national education system. Due to that reason, the Islamic Education curriculum implemented in the Islamic University becomes a compulsory subject of the personality development subjects, especially to create the great humankind (which has al-akhlaq al-karimah) based on strong faith and sharia roles.Moreover, the embed noble character among the students of the Islamic University is important. Besides, the Islamic University is the forefront for the citizen and the other higher education institutions to behave and act in the daily life activities. Therefore, the revived efforts by facilitating and supporting the students in the Islamic University in order the noble character could be realized despite their creativity and intelligence.
