Abstract

Case Based Reasoning is a method of reasoning with its main work system using a similarity measure. The basic idea of this system is that any possible problems are the same have the same solutions as well. The purpose of this study is to implement and test how accurate the Bayesian Theorem method for identifying cases of damage to the computer in case based reasoning system.Case based reasoning process consists of four stages namely retrieve, it means search and matching of the case; reuse, it means reuse of information and knowledge of the case; revise, it means revisiting the solution of the cases; and retain, it means saving the experience of new cases in the base case system.The system in this research will be built using Bayesian Theorem, modeling Unified Modeling Language (UML) and PHP programming languages with a MySQL database as a regulator of the system. Keywords— Case Based Reasoning, Bayesian Theorem, Computer Damage

Abstract

The process of data compression based on the fact that in almost all types of data are always there repetition in the data component has, for example, in a text sentence there will be redundancies letter alphabet of letters ܽ  through  ݖ. Compression of data through the encoding process seeks to eliminate the element of repetition  by  changing  it such that the data size becomes smaller. In this study, an audio  file  compression applications  is  making  by  using  Arithmetic Coding  algorithm. Unified Modelling Language (UML)  is used as system development tools. In making this application is emphasized to compress the audio file extension * .wav.  Compression application testing is done by examining the  files that have different sizes with a sample  rate and bitrate values are the same. It was concluded that the audio  file with a large size takes longer to perform the compression process. The compressed audio  files can not be executed before passing the decompression process that caused a change in the structure of the current audio file decompression process. Abstract

Public Phone application is the application that contains telephone numbers of public services, as well as equipped with emergency telephone numbers such as telephone numbers police stations, fire stations, hospitals and many other agencies offices. Phone public service also includes the address and google maps feature to find out where we are located as well as the location of a public office who want to visit in the area such as the solution of the problems in communicating. In making the application of the  Public Service Telephone  Kendari required algorithm or method that is effective, because the search process is one important part of the data processing. The algorithm used is Interpolation Search. Interpolation Search is a search algorithm that is more efficient than the algorithms Binary and Sequential Search. This is because the algorithm is no need to explore every element of the table. On the menu there is a phone text auto-complete feature that allows users to search for the name of the agency in question. Results of this research is the Public Service Telephone applications Kendari implemented on Android Operating System and built using the Android programming language. Abstract

The development of HCI (Human Computer Interface) has grown more user-friendly. The traditional way of inputting data using keyboard has been replaced gradually since a lot of new method developed. Touch panel developed  from single-touch to multi-touch. Body sense technology even removes obstacles in input device so HCI becomes closer to human nature movement. The most important thing from HCI is manipulating by using hand. The object of this research is to build an application which gives user ability to control pointer by using hand gesture. Method which is used in the application to recognize hand gesture is Convex Hull Algorithm. Convex Hull Algorithm is a method which is used to detect contour or object in image by using points which are connected by lines that cover the contour. The result of this research shows that the application could give the user ability to control the pointer by using hand gesture. Nevertheless, the overall object detections are still needs to  be improved because they are easily distracted by background or object having the same colors as the user’s hand. Abstract

Currently the employee and financial data management in the Faculty of Engineering, Halu Oleo University, Southeast Sulawesi already using computer technology, but overall employee data is entered manually. In addition, data that has been entered in the officialdom service and finance can not be viewed in real-time by an employee of the Faculty of Engineering who are not in the field. Based on these problems, the authors feel need to be made an Human Resource Development Faculty of Engineering, Halu Oleo University. The importance of this system to the processing of employee data can be focused and efficient. In addition, enables the user to enter personal data anytime and anywhere. The test results, the system displays the calculation table details the net salary of employees who relied on periodic salary increases, allowances, and discounts, according to the rule system that applies to the finance department. In this system, salaries are processed only the salaries of employees with employment status of civil servants. In addition, all operations in the system has been running well. Abstract

Dhiba bakery is a company that produce various  kinds of breads in large quantities. Today, they use an intuition method and experinence to decide how much bread they will produce. To optimize the amount of production, they need an application to manage marketing to produce bread for the next day. In the calculation process it used two methods, Exponential Smoothing and Mean Squared Error (MSE). Exponential smoothing is used to determine the amount of production for the next day. Meanwhile, Mean Squared Error (MSE) is used to calculate if there was an error. In this aplicatian, the database has four tables which consist of item data, production data, sales data, and forecasting data. Based on the forecast made in Application of  Exponential Smoothing Method in Sales Forecasting to determine bread production quantity. It will get a production forecast value of an item on a particular day in according input from the user. Keywords— Forecasting, Production, Exponential Smoothing, Mean Squance Error.

Abstract

One way to cope with  the traffic density is leveraging technology Intelligent Transport System (ITS). ITS is a system implemented to control and manage the traffic of vehicles, vehicle distribution and transport system infrastructure to achieve a more secure and organized. Revolving a traffic light in the ITS is flexible because it depends on the number of vehicles in traffic. To obtain the revolving time efficient traffic light depends on the accuracy of the calculation of the number of vehicles. In this study, the method used is the method of viola-Jones. The number of car detection system is implemented using the Java programming language-based desktop. Results obtained from these systems demonstrate the highest degree of accuracy viola-Jones method in detecting the number of  cars on the condition of the samples contained 1 cars which amounted to 92,86%. While the highest error jones viola method in determining the number of cars found on a random sample conditions which amounted to 47,22%.Keywords— ITS, Car Detection, Viola-Jones

Abstract

The development of information technology has developed very rapidly following the age requirements that require speed and accuracy in all aspects of life. Follow developments in terms of hardware, software, and in terms of human resources to operate them. At this time almost all areas of life need information technology and human behavior are used to applying information technology in everyday life. With computers we can perform data processing and data storage. Can then input data, edit data, save, delete, etc., so the data is managed more effectively and efficiently. With rapid advances in technology today, bring an idea or ideas of the writer to try to computerize records Medical Records. The author tries to build an application that will help to simplify  the processing of medical data include patient data, physician data, and drug data, with the aim to make easy in data processing more optimal and effective. The system that will be made is ”Application Information System Based Medical Record SMS Gateway”. This application was made using modeling Unified Modeling Language (UML), gammu tools  to build their SMS  gateway  application, Php  as web programming language and MySQL as data storage. Abstract

This research was undertaken to design and implement Qur’an based on Android application using sequential search method, with the aim that can be read and understood anywhere in accordance with the functions of Android based devices, in this case is a cellular phone, it can be increase knowledge about sequential search methods also could be additional references. The method that used in this research had two methods that is data collection and application development. Data collection is done by study of literature.Advances in technology today, Qur'an can be read as much as possible. This condition can be satisfied by the existence of a solution to build Qur’an based on Android application using sequential search method, so it can be accessed anywhere.Based on the research results, in this case sequential search methods is suitable for searching data because the data is not based on the data sequences.  This application provides some features that are name of the surah, verse, translation, explanation background of the surah, and audio. Keywords— Al-Qur’an, Sequential Search, Android

Abstract

Ricefor the poor program, known as  Raskin  is one of the government programs to reduce expenditure and the protection of poor families through the distribution of rice with a number and a specified price .in the distribution of Raskin often encountered obstacles or problems, one of them for leveling Raskin  amount received by all recipients Raskin. While there are different social degrees between the receiver  Raskin.  Raskin  distribution given the same amount to all recipients  Raskin, happens because it is still done manually allowing the occurrence of a subjective determination by the village government because it has not referring to predetermined criteria. In this study used methods of SAW  (Simple Additive Weight). SAW weighted summation , namely by finding a weighted sum of the value of the performance of each alternative on all attributes and requires a decision matrix normalization process (X) to a scale which can be compared with all existing alternatives value. The results of this analysis, a decision support system determines the amount of rice for the poor (Raskin ) using Simple Additive Weight (SAW)  in the village Puupi, Kolono, Southern Konawe district.
