Abstract

The objective of this research was to improve the ability of knowing the epitome of number through number order game of the B group chidren Kindergarten Pertiwi Bangkinang the kind of research was Classroom Action Research which done collaboratively between the researcher and the teacher. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle done in two meetings. The subject of the research was 16 children 4-5 Kindergarten pertiwi Bangkinang which consisted of 5 males and 11 females. The object of the research is ability of knowing the epitome of number 1-10. Incollecting the data the researcher used observation and documentation. Instrument used was observation list and documentation. The data was analyzed descriptive quantitatively. The result showed that there was an improvement of ability of knowing the epitome of numbers after being taught by using number order game activity. The result of observation in Pre action showed that the children who have expected development criterian was 3 or 18,75%. In cycle I improved become 7 or 43,75% and in cycle II improved again become 13 or 81,25%. The steps reached that can improve the ability of knowing the epitome of number to the children was the teacher provided a media game that was number order and demonstrated how to play. So, in conclude that number order game activity can improve the ability of knowing the epitome of number of 4-5 children Kindergarten pertiwi Bangkinang.

Abstract

Efforts to Boost Entrepreneurship Through Children grow tanampada early childhood / kindergarten Taqifa. Entrepreneurial spirit needs to be owned by anyone, not least children at an early age. Entrepreneurship education is not just to educate potential entrepreneurs or to teach children earning money early, but to grow and develop characters that already exist in children. The purpose of this study was to: find out whether there is any change in habits and behaved child after doing fun activities in farming and increase entrepreneurship spirit early. This study used a qualitative research approach, that is data that contains information in the form of a sentence that gives an overview of all activities of children in this research activity. The hypothesis could be given of this research is the entrepreneurship activity through cultivation can foster the entrepreneurial spirit in early childhood educator / TK Taqifa. Planting an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age children make children have a strong mental effort, a sense of responsibility and self-reliant attitude.

Abstract

Tradition Basiacuong a local culture that has wisdom that needs to be maintained. Advances in technology and the inclusion of new elements in the life of our nation is the cause of the shift in the values of life. This is the reason for researchers to conduct research with the aim of describing the social function basiacuong and describe the cultural values of society basiacuong Kualu Nenas. Basiacuong derived from the word flattered flattering from one party to another party who is usually represented by ninik mamak from a tribe that conversation. Basiacuong means menyengaja deed. Inside basiacuong have cultural values and social functions that must be maintained. Qualitative research with this descriptive method to analyze the function of social and cultural values in society basiacuong Kualu by making the community Kualu Nenas Nenas as research informants. Engineering research using audio-visual recording devices, recording sheet, and guidelines for the interview. Data collected in the form of text analyzed according to the research objectives by triangulation as a validation technique data. Based on the results it can be concluded that the social function of which is the tradition Basiacuong; (1) as a means of entertainment, (2) a means of education, (3) as a tool to maintain and pass customs, traditions, and culture (4) as a tool to show the identity of the person Kampar, and (5) can foster a cooperative spirit. In practice, the speech delivered in the tradition basiacuong contains many lessons or advice that is very educational for the audience, especially people Kualu Nenas.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of beam numbers game against the ability to know the numbers emblem. This research is a quantitative research, the sample is early childhood, which amounted to 38 children. These samples were selected by purposive area has been chosen based on objective and specific considerations, namely the ability to know the numbers are still minimal emblem. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing this data, as the independent variable (variable x) is playing blocks of numbers, while the dependent variable (variable y) is the ability to know the numbers emblem, used its product moment correlation when the influence of beam numbers game against the ability to know the extent emblem bilangan. Use significant 5%, then the price of table r = 0.320. Whereas, its product moment correlation was 0.487. Furthermore, comparing the count r with r table. It turned out that after the count is greater than r of the r table, then the consequences Ho rejected and Ha diterima. Abstract

Today the level of formal education in Early Childhood Education (ECD) a good many contributed to the preparation of children to basic education. However, the availability of early childhood education for poor children in urban areas is very limited presence, in addition to the difficulty of managing the funds needed for facilitating learning is also a factor in the lack menentuannya learners follow a schedule of learning. Implementation costs perdatang education and the design of integrated learning and involve their parents in the management of self-funding, is an alternative that can be developed. This study uses a methodology deep field surveys in a sample of poor children in the studio playing excelend Pekanbaru and involved 15 respondents parents. Meanwhile, to determine the application of an integrated learning approach used classroom action research which involves a number of teachers and observers. From the research results can be stated that: (1) Background of parents of children studying in general have realistic conditions of structural poverty, that the parents of the workers were uneducated and untrained and entrepreneurs without capital and without the facilities to the economy is very weak (2) the education level of parents is very low. Average not finish elementary school, (3) Revenue parents daily about Rp 20,000, - to 30,000, -rupiah, the financial burden shouldered by family members on average three people, (4) average child getting less nutrition balanced, because several things including; (A) the availability of food that is less due to the purchasing power of low food needs of parents, (b) knowledge of parents on nutritional patterns are also low due to inadequate education, (c) a culture of poor results in irregular eating patterns and food potluck menu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cognitive abilities of children in counting activities in kindergarten Taqifa Bangkinang. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is scheduled to take place in two cycles. The first cycle executed 2 times face to face. Each cycle contains the main points of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data in this study is data collected by observation and documentation. As for travel writers in analyzing the data in this study is to use the technique of quantitative descriptive analysis of data obtained and presented with what then the data is analyzed using numbers. To determine the percentage results the authors using the following formula (Anas Sudijono, 2004):.  After analyzing the results of the initial test, which has been known that a child's cognitive ability is low ie with a percentage of 46% as attached in the appendix. So to improve the cognitive abilities of children, use of learning Media playing card numbers. The conclusion from this study that the cognitive abilities of children in counting activities increased with the media playing the card number of children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Taqifa Bangkinang, more details as follows: a child's cognitive ability prior to action by the percentage of 46% with a low category, then the cycle I get a percentage of 58% is also considered to be still not optimally with adequate or medium category and the second cycle gets a percentage of 87% with a very high category and considered to be the maximum.

Abstract

Lack of knowledge about nutrition and health among parents, especially the mother is one of the causes of malnutrition in children under five. In the province of Riau in 2013 one of the highest malnutrition status is Regency Kuantan Singingi with a prevalence of 5.6%. There are malnourished children under five In the district of Kuantan Singingi, sentajo technical implementation unit area (UPTD) health sector, in the village of Muara Langsat with children malnutrition amounted to (0.9%) in 2015. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of counseling to mothers knowledge about a balanced diet for children under five in posyandu of Melati  in the village of Muara Langsat Regency Kuantan Singingi year 2016. this study used a quasi experiment method non equivalent control group design. The data collection study conducted using questionnaires. The study population was 302 children under five. Sampling using purposive sampling obtained 256 children under five. The results showed an average score of knowledge (pretest) of 0.44 and an average knowledge (posttest) increased to 1.08. Results of paired t-test analysis, knowledge of mothers about balanced diets gained significant value ρ = 0.000 (ρ 0.05). This means that there is effective counseling to mothers knowledge about balanced menu for children under five. It is expected that health professionals, especially midwives in order to further improve public knowledge about the importance of eating a balanced diet in children under five like posyandu counseling, and so on.
