Abstract

Product selection based on the ripeness quality of papaya fruit is one of the stages in the processing of plantation products. At this time, the process of sorting papaya fruit is still using manual methods, especially in estimating the level of ripeness. Papaya is considered a climacteric fruit where respiration occurs and its ethylene production suddenly increases and then rapidly falls off. Fruit with a low respiration rate has a longer shelf life than fruit with a high respiration rate. To overcome this problem, this research created a prototype of a papaya fruit ripeness detection system using a color sensor-based fuzzy logic method. This fruit maturity detector can provide information related to fruit ripeness (unripe, half ripe, and ripe) which is determined from the color of the papaya fruit which is then processed using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. The results of the prototype design can measure fruit with an accuracy rate of 93.33% of the 30 data tested by using tools that are in a cool place, with low intensity of incoming sunlight. Keywords: Papaya fruit ripeness, TCS3200 Sensor, Mamdani Fuzzy Logic.

Abstract

An electronic circuit that functions to block or hold signals with intermediate frequencies (median) and will forward signals between low frequencies and high frequencies is the definition of a Notch Filter. The Band Stop Filter, also often referred to as the Notch Filter, is a combination of a Low Pass Filter and a High Pass Filter connected in parallel. This connection differs from the Band Pass Filter, which connects the Low Pass Filter and High Pass Filter in series. This study aims to discuss the simulation of the Sallen-key notch filter Circuit. The author also conducts real simulations to prove the Circuit by changing or adjusting the value of the components installed in the Circuit so that the frequency response is according to the target. The purpose and role of the Sallen-key notch filter and the working principle of the theory of each filter used. The research method used in the research work is to carry out virtual simulations using virtual simulators and live simulations

Abstract

The COVID-19 outbreak has hit almost the whole world, including Indonesia which has become a disease outbreak in early 2020. Therefore, currently, various places have enforced regulations to comply with health protocols by using masks. So all South Sumatra must follow health protocols by wearing masks and maintaining distance. So the program for making this Mask Detection System is one way to overcome public awareness, especially among Bina Darma University students about the importance of using masks today. In the case of making this mask detection system program, the researchers used Python and the Haar Cascade Algorithm. From experiments using the Haar Cascade method, this system can detect people who use masks and do not use masks. This test is also done by inputting images or videos. The results of the study that, based on distance and angle, the estimated minimum distance for this mask detection application is 25 cm and the maximum is 150 cm will produce maximum mask detection results and based on distance, the estimated distance is 50 cm to 300 cm, the design of the detection system can recognize the maximum face

Abstract

In TCP/IP networks, TCP provides reliable delivery service with the guarantee that packets sent reach their destination. This is achieved through the use of acknowledgments (ACK) as a mechanism. In TCP/IP networks, TCP provides reliable delivery service with the guarantee that packets sent reach their destination. This is achieved through the use of acknowledgments (ACK) as a mechanism. In all three variants of TCP, they rely on the presence of ACK packets. Therefore, testing will be conducted to observe the effect of ACK loss on TCP performance. The testing involves introducing disruptive traffic on the ACK path with varying magnitudes. This disruptive traffic results in the loss of some ACK packets, depending on the magnitude of the disruptive traffic. The testing was conducted using the ns-2 simulator software. The research findings indicate that the loss of ACK packets leads to a decrease in TCP performance. TCP Reno successfully improves the performance of TCP Tahoe, but the algorithm improvement in TCP New Reno does not have an effect on TCP Reno..

Abstract

The Internet has become a basic need for every human being in carrying out his activities. To find out the quality of the internet network, a measurement called the Quality of Service is needed. Quality of service measurement can help in evaluating the performance of internet network providers. Data collection was carried out by monitoring while using YouTube and conducting video meetings using the Zoom application using the Wirleshark software with a viewing time of 30 minutes using the 10 Mbps Iconnet package. The number of users of the Iconnet internet network in this study amounted to 5 users. The data collected in this study were processed using QUALITY OF SERVICE parameters such as throughput, packet loss, delay, and jittler. Then an analysis was carried out by comparing the data obtained with the TIPHON standard. Data collection was carried out at Bumi Mi'Raj Housing, Jalan Bangau Sakti, Pekanbaru City. The results of the 10 Mbps iconnet network research have a very good delay value with an average of 21.75 ms and a very good packet loss with an average of 0.46%. The jitter parameter is in the good category with an average of 24.80 ms and the throughput parameter is in the bad category with an average of 258 kbps. The use of the 10 Mbps iconnet network can be used to play Youtube videos with 360p quality resolution with a total of 5 users. The more users of the 10 Mbps iconnet network, the effect will be a decrease in the quality of the Quality of Service parameter. The use of the iconnet network is better used on the slowest walk than on the slowest time.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to solve the problem of diagnosing achalasia, which the general public does not yet know about the treatment procedures. Achalasia is a condition in which the muscles of the esophagus fail to push food or drink into the stomach. This condition can cause symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, regurgitation of food into the esophagus, and weight loss. The sample data used by the authors for the process of diagnosing achalasia in this study were obtained from experts (experts) through literature study data collection techniques and field studies (interviews and observations). The expert system method implemented by the author to solve the problem of diagnosing achalasia in this study is the Naïve Bayes method. Naive Bayes is a method that can provide a solution by determining the probability values of a phenomenon. The results showed that the Naïve Bayes method was able to diagnose achalasia quickly and easily with accurate and reliable solutions. So that it can be used as a relevant alternative to help ordinary people get solutions to cure Achalasia.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia led to restrictions on human social activities to minimize transmission. Teaching-learning is also affected when students must stay home and follow distance learning based on Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020, the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy, issued on March 31, 2020. This has led to the emergence of learning support applications such as Zoom, Google Classroom, Google Meet, E-Learning, and many more. However, this new learning culture requires adaptation for effective implementation. During the adaptation process, researchers want to measure the level of student satisfaction and find out the best algorithm for classifying the level of student satisfaction. This measurement uses two data mining algorithms, K-Nearest Neighbour (K-NN) and Naïve Bayes, and the Islamic State University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau students as the research object. Different algorithms have varying strengths and weaknesses in handling specific data types and classification tasks. By comparing both algorithms, we can assess their generalization capabilities. A model that performs well on training data but fails to generalize to unseen data may not be as effective as a more robust algorithm that exhibits better generalization performance. K-NN classification with a value of k = 3 gets good results. Based on the study results, the conclusion is that K-NN is more optimal in classifying student satisfaction levels than Naïve Bayes with an accuracy ratio of 85% : 80%, precision of 85% : 84%, and recall of 99% : 93%.
