Abstract

The research aims to (1) describe the difference of Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo with Indonesians’ standard according to phonologic and (2) describing the difference of Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo’s vocabulary with Indonesians’ standard. This research used a qualitative method that focuses on showing the meaning, describing, purification, placement of data on the context. The data source was 200 of Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo’s vocabulary based on Swadesh lists that translate in Indonesian. The instrument of this research was a recorder that used to interview some native inhabitants of Pontianak of west Borneo which have Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo accent. Then the researcher saw the difference of Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo with Indonesian made in written type. The researcher used “Simak method”, recording, interview, and taking note. The researcher used Padan method in this research. The method used in the research is shown by informal. The result of the research are (1) of Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo with Indonesians’ standard according to phonologic including (a) regular difference they are [a]-[∂], [i]-[ε], [u]-[O], [r]-[k], [Ø]-[k], (b) irregular difference they are [l]-[k], [k]-[g], [i]-[a], (2) difference of Pontianak Malayan of west Borneo’s vocabulary with Indonesians’ standard, there are 21 vocabularies.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research which focuses on the form, function, and changing meaning of the shortened form of Javanese language, mainly in Surakarta area. The result of the research shows that (1) there are three forms of shortened use of language in the Javanese speech community; (a) shortened form of as the result of sound elimination in the beginning of the word, (b) shortened form of as the result of sound elimination of the middle of syllables, (c) shortened form of as the result of sound elimination at the end of the word. (2) There are three function of shortened use of language in the Javanese speech community; (a) interpersonal function, (b) directive function, and (c) personal function. (3) The changing meaning in the use of shortened form of Javanese language are (a) the changing of polite meaning into rude meaning, (b) the changing of rude meaning into a polite one.

Abstract

This paper is a journal review that became the main reference research of Penelitian Dosen Pemula, Ristek Dikti 2017 entitled "Desain Pembelajaran Kelas Anti-Klithih Berbasis Intrapersonal Intelligence dengan Media Audio-Visual Pada SMA/SMK/Sederajat Se-Kabupaten Bantul". The selected journals are the last three (3) years of recent journals on violence, learning, and school curriculum. Journals are international journals obtained through ebscohost and google scholar with the keywords: bullying in schools and school violence. As a result, the six journals each encourage constructive learning design efforts that take into account the role of social, democratic leadership, expertise, multiculturalism, and regulation

Abstract

This research aims to describe 1) the types of code-switching in the speech communities of North Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB, 2) Function of code-switching during communicating is found in the speaking community of North Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB, 3) The causes of the occurrence of code-switching in the speech community of North Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB. The study included qualitative descriptive research. The data in this study are public utterances containing code-switching in a speech in the form of conversation. The data is obtained from data sources in the form of language usage in community speech carried out from January to February 2019 in of  North Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB. The method of providing data uses the refer method. The technique used is the recording and recordimg technique. The method of data analysis is a translational equivalent method and is pragmatically matched with the determinant element (PUP) technique. The method of presenting the results of the data analysis used is an informal method. The result of this study are as follows: 1) Types of code-switching in the speech communities of Noth Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB, namely a) transfer internal code, b) transfer of external code, 2) The function of code switching during communication found in the speech community of North Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB, a) connecting the conversation according to de language used last (triggering), b) mentioning the person intended in the conversation, 3) The causes of code-switching in the speech communities of North Rabangodu Village, Raba District, Bima City, NTB, a) speakers, b) partners, c) the presence of third speakers, d) subject matter, e) arousing  sense of humor

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is descriptive (1) know the tendency of the learning achievement read students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Sewon which used learning media based on PowerPoint; (2) which used learning media based on Flash. Comparatively, aims to know the influence of usage of learning media based on Flash against the achievements of learning to read students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Sewon. Descriptive research results (1) the tendency of the learning achievement read students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Sewon used learning media based on PowerPoint including high; (2) which used learning media based on Flash including very high. In comparative there a difference a significant achievement of students learning to read students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Sewon between lessons that used learning media based on Flash and media based on PowerPoint.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes the form of Java language Java language words contained parikan at the wayang puppet stage and describe the Java language word classes contained in parikan at the wayang puppet stage. The research is a qualitative research. The data obtained in the form used by the NII parikan puppeteer and puppet performances sinden on the skin. Source of this research is recording the puppet show as well as interviews with the puppeteer and sinden. Data obtained using the method of observation to see the techniques involved free conversation, record, record and interview method with fishing techniques and advanced techniques capable semuka. Data were analyzed with methods of unified referential. Presentation of the results of the analysis of this study is to use the model of informal data presentation. Results of this study are as follows. (1) The form of words contained in the Java language parikan at the leather puppet stage is (a) a base or tembung lingga (word phallus) (b) the word derivative / tembung andhahan, covering affixed words, repeated words / tembung rangkep and process composition / camboran (2 ) Class Javanese tembung kriya word contained in parikan at the wayang puppet stage were (a) noun / noun (tembung aran) (b) verb / verbs (tembung kriya) (c) adjective / adjective (tembung kaanan) (d ) adverb / adverb, (tembung katrangan) (e) pronoun / pronouns (tembung sesulih) (f) said numbers / numeralia (tembung wilangan) (g) conjunctions / conjunctions (tembung panggandeng) (h) said callers, interjection (tembung panguwuh).

Abstract

This research aims to describe linguistics error on “Fokus” rubric of Pendapa Tamansiswa magazine. The errors identified are 1) spelling errors, 2) morphologic errors 3) syntactic errors 4) and lexicon errors. This is a qualitative descriptive research which focuses on sentences containing linguistics errors. The data are gathered from sixteen packs of rubric “Fokus” in Pendapa Tamansiswa magazine in eight bundle of publishing by using free intensive reading and note  taking techniques. The data were analyzed by using evenly distributed methods with direct-substance-distribution techniques, substituting techniques, disappearing techniques, extension techniques, and reversing techniques. The result showed that (1) there are 133 error sentences or 11,24% contain of error in letter using, dictions, punctuation, and spelling. (2) There are 8 sentences with morphologic errors or 0,68% which contain affixes and reduplications errors. (3) There are 70 syntactic errors in 70 sentences or 5,91% which contain sentence patterns errors and word choise of "tugas". (4) There are 50 sentences with lexicon errors or 4,23% which contain unappropriate choice of dictions, unsuitable choice of dictions, and "redundan" formating. (5) There are 161 sentences with mixed errors or 13,60% which consist (a) spelling and morphologic errors, (b) spelling and syntactic errors, (c) spelling and lexicon errors (d) morphologic and syntactic errors, (e) morphologic and lexicon errors, (f) syntactic and lexicon errors, (g) spelling, morphologic and syntactic errors, (h) spelling, syntactic, and lexicon errors, (i) morphologic, syntactic and lexicon errors, and (j) spelling, morphologic, syntactic, and lexicon errors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe (1) types of greetings, (2) greeting functions, and (3) factors that influence the use of greetings in the Sumba language of dialect Kambera in Laipandak Village, Wulla Waijilu District, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique uses the method of listening with basic tapping techniques along with advanced techniques, namely the skillful listening technique (SLC), namely skillful listening techniques (SLC), recording techniques, and note-taking techniques; and proficient methods with basic fishing techniques accompanied by advanced techniques, namely leading skill techniques. The data analysis technique uses the translational equivalent method with the basis of the determinant elements (PUP) accompanied by advanced techniques, namely the comparative connection technique equates the main thing (HBSP). Presentation of the results of data analysis using formal and informal methods. The results of this study indicate that (1) types of greetings consist of (a) pronouns, (b) self-names, (c) greetings of kinship terms, (d) the title of 'noble' Maramba, or 'servant', and profession, (e)  a deixis or pointer greetings, and (f) a zero characteristic; (2) the greeting function consists of calls, arrangements for speech turn, rituals and social contexts, requires and reduces threats; and (3) factors that influence the use of greetings consist of age, gender, situation, social status, kinship relationships, and intimacy relationships.

Abstract

Timun Emas tales story and SNK comic are constructed by the same theme and character but in different culture between Java (Indonesia) and Japan. That situation also represented a different way of life which is relevant to their problem and what could they do to solve the problem. Javanese people inclined to do prihatin ways. Indonesian people preferred to solve the problem with negotiation and God should be the final of problem-solving. In different ways, people of Japan inclined to do competition and discipline. They really admire the time and nothing for negotiation which is waste the time. The other principle of Japanese society is strong determination.
