Abstract

The purpose of this study describes thelearning strategy of drilling pattern making in SMK,including:/ (1) planning; (2) implementation, (3)evaluation of learning outcomes and (4) obstaclesencountered in learning make draping patterns. Thedescriptive research used the qualitative method,with the subject of this research is teacher and student of class XI fashion at SMK MuhammadiyahImogiri Yogyakarta in academic year 2015/2016.Methods of data collection include:/ observation,interview, and documentation. Data validity usingtriangulation. Data analysis techniques include:/data reduction, data presentation, conclusion. andverification. The results showed: (1) Lesson planning is less effective, planning documents such asyearly and semester programs are incomplete, andless developed RPP. 2) Implementation of learningis good enough, shown the method of explaining,assignment, demonstration, and practice; Learningmedia using dummy equipped with job sheet andhandout to help students understand in making draping pattern. (3) Evaluation of learning outcomesmakes the draping pattern quite good, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessment with100% final grade students above the Maximum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). (4) Obstacles or obstacles faced in learning make draping pattern thatis; Dense teacher work, lack of communication between teachers, and inadequate practice facilities sothat students use pass pop interchangeably

Abstract

ge-newline"> This study aimed to describe (1) excellent service, (2) curtomers’ satisfaction, and (3)the influence of excellent service toward curtomers’ satisfaction. This study was ex-post facto.Data colleting methods used questionnairesand documentation. Data analyzing methodsused descriptive analysis and hypothesis testingby using Product Moment that was started bynormality and linearity test. This study showsthat excellent service was in high category withthe relative frequency 54.55% and curtomers’satisfaction was in high category with relativefrequency 53.25%. Based on the result of Product Moment, the score of rxy was 0,448. Thescore of r table in the significant level 5% fortotal respondents 77 was 0.227 (rxy 0,448 > rtable 0.227). It could be stated there was a positive and significant influence of excellent service toward curtomers’ satisfaction. The determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.201, it means thatexcellent service gave contribution for about20.1% toward curtomers’ satisfaction, while79.9% was influenced by other factors thatwere not discussed in this study; they werequality, price, service, facilities of the product,and easiness of customers’ sasfacon.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are toknow (1) illustration independence of entrepreneurship, (2) illustration interest of entrepreneurship, and (3) the correlation of independence and interest in entrepreneurship atthe Students of Vocational Public School 1Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta. The type of theresearch is ex-post facto. Data are collectedby questionnaire and documentation. Dataanalysis techniques: descriptive analysis andhypothesis test used product moment correlation begun by prerequisite analysis, that isnormality and linearity examination. The results show that independence is categorizedhigh by relative frequency 45,23%, and theinterest of entrepreneurship is fair by relativefrequency 55,95%. Based on correlation test,the score of rxy was 0,493. The score of r tablein the significant level 5% for total respondents 84 was 0,214 (rxy 0,493> r table 0,214).It means that there was a positive and significant of independence and interest in entrepreneurship. The score of determinant coefficient(R2) was 0,244, it means that independenceand interest in entrepreneurship gave a positive contribution 24,4% toward family healthfood service, while 75,6% was influenced byother factors that were not analyzed in thispaper.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe (1) the nutrient knowledge, (2) the choice of menu, and (3)correlation between nutrient knowledge withthe choice of menu among the students of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University in Asmadewa Hostel of Yogyakarta. This study was expost facto. Data colleting methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzingmethods used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that wasstarted by normality and linearity test. Thisstudy shows that the nutrient knowledge was inhigh category with the relative frequency 70.5%and the choice of menu was in high categorywith relative frequency 70.49%. Based on theresult of Product Moment, the score of rxy was0,642. The score of r table in the significantlevel 5% for total respondents 135 was 0.254((rxy 0,642 > r table 0,254). It could be statedthere was a positive and significant correlationbetween nutrient knowledge with the choice ofmenu. The determinant coefficient (R2) was0.416, it means that nutrient knowledge gavecontribution for about 41.6% toward the choiceof menu, while 58.4% was influenced by otherfactors that were not discussed in this study;such as location of the restorant, willing, andeconomic level.

Abstract

This paper aimed to know (1) hygieneand sanitation knowledge, (2) family healthfood service, and (3) the influence of hygieneand sanitation knowledge toward familyhealth food service among the elementaryschool teachers of teacher working groupsKeling District Jepara. The type of this paperwas ex-post facto. Data collection techniquesused questionnaire and documentation. Dataanalysis technique used descriptive analysisand hypothesis testing by using Product Moment correlation that was started by normality and linearity test. This paper shows thathygiene and sanitation knowledge was inenough category with the percentage 48.62%and family health food service was in enoughcategory with the percentage 63.89%. Basedon the analysis, the score of rxy was 0.408.The score of r table in the significant level 5%for total respondents 75 was 0.235 (rxy0,408> r table 0,235). It means that there wasa positive and significant influence of hygiene and sanitation knowledge toward family health food service among the elementaryschool teachers of teacher working groupsKeling District Jepara. The score of determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.166, it means thathygiene and sanitation knowledge gave apositive contribution 16.6% toward familyhealth food service, while 83.4% was influenced by other factors that were not analyzedin this paper.

Abstract

ass="Apple-interchange-newline"> The objectives of this research are toknow: (1) the information of the income of thesmall industry “kue cucur”, and (2) the growthof the “kue cucur” home industry in GiricahyoVillage. The research used the qualitative approach. The subjects of the research are theresidents of Giricahyo Village who run thesmall industry “kue cucur”. They are the producers, seller, neighbors of the “kue cucur”producers and public figure. The research wasconducted in January 2016 to March 2016. Thedata were collected through interviews, observations, and documentations. The data werevalidated using sources triangulation with 3supporting informants. The data analyses usedwere data collecting, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The results of theresearch are as follows: (1) the effects of theproduction of “kue cucur” in Giricahyo Villageis positive to the social and economy sectors. Inthe social sector, the production of “kue cucur” creates a new job vacancy and the societycan own new skills in the industrial field andcan socialize with the other societies, prioritizethe cooperation and do not cause the environmental pollution; (2) the growth of “kue cucur”small industry in Giricahyo village is thechanging of workers, production process, andquality of “kue cucur” and until now the industry is still run by almost all heads of the familyin Giricahyo Village.

Abstract

This study aimed to know (1) familysalary, (2) interest in following life skill program, and (3) correlation between family salary and interest in following life skill program.The type of this study was ex-post facto. Datacollection methods used questionnaires anddocumentation. Data analysis technique used adescriptive analysis and hypothesis testing byusing Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test. This study shows thatthe family salary was in enough category withrelative frequency 48.33% and the interest infollowing life skill program was in enough category with relative frequency 50%. The scoreof robs was 0.616 above rtable 0.254 (robs = 0.616> rtable 0.254). It means that there was a positive and significant correlation between familysalary and interest in following life skill program. The score of determinant coefficient (R2)was 0.379, it means that the family salary gavea positive contribution 37.9% toward interestin following life skill program, while 62.1%was influenced by other factors that were notanalyzed in this study

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the harmony of family, the score of handicraf subject,and the corelation between the family harmony with the student score on the handicrafsubject of student class VII at SMP N 1 Patean Kendal Central Java in the year of 2014-2015. This study was a sample research.Data collecting methods used questionairesand documentation. Data analyzing methodsused descriptive and correlative analysis,hypothesis tested by using Product Momentthat was started by normality and linieritytest. This study shows that the harmony offamily level was in enough category49,66%the score of handicraf subject 64,83%. Basedon the result of Product Moment, the score ofr hitung > r tabel or 0,874 > 0,163, the result oft-tes t hitung > t tabel or 44,262 > 1,977, it canbe stated that there was a positive and significant correlation between the harmony of family with the score of handicraf subject ofstudent class VIISMP N 1 Patean KendalCentral Java in the year of 2014-2015

Abstract

This study aimed to know the description of hygiene and sanitation of family foodmanagement among the members of familywelfare empowerment organization. Data collection methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis method used descriptive analysis to descriptive the score of mean,median, mode, and standard deviation. Thisstudy shows that hygiene and sanitation of family food management among the members offamily welfare empowerment organization wasin enough category with the frequency 47.44%.The hygiene and sanitation of family food management among the members of family welfareempowerment organization could be seen fromindicators of choosing the food ingredients,managing foods, and servicing foods. a) Theindicator of choosing the food ingredients wasin enough category with the frequency 47.44%.b) The indicator of managing foods was inenough category with the frequency 48.72%. c)The indicator of servicing foods was in enoughcategory with the frequency 62.82%. Thus, theindicator of servicing foods was more dominantdetermining hygiene and sanitation of familyfood management among the members of family welfare empowerment organization

Abstract

"> The objective of this research is to describethe students’ appreciation toward batik whichincludes love for batik, knowledge variety of batik, an understanding of batik philosophy, a desire to learn batik, and awareness to wear batik.The research question is how do students at theTeacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa appreciatebatik? This research includes a descriptive quantitative research. The number of respondents was119 selected by using a proportional randomsampling technique. The data were revealed byusing a questionnaire. The data analysis useddescriptive quantitative calculations to gainmean, median, mode and standard deviation values. From the calculations, the average value ofbatik appreciation was 59 (an average category).The average value of each indicator consisted of15.9 for the love of batik (an average category);9.1 for knowledge variety of batik (an averagecategory); 10.7 for an understanding of batikphilosophy (a low category); 14.8 for a desire tolearn batik (an average category); and 9.5 forawareness to wear batik (an average category).From these results it is suggested that studentsgain knowledge about batik by reading books inthe future, so they impart knowledge about batikas part of the Indonesian culture that has beenrecognized by UNESCO
