Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance at the DPMPPTSP of Central Tapanuli Regency. This study is a saturated sampling, meaning that all 60 State Civil Apparatus (SCA) at DPMPPTSP are sampled. This study also uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed directly to respondents, then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously and partially there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance at the DPMPPTSP of Central Tapanuli Regency

Abstract

Flash floods are usually caused by heavy rainfall and are extremely destructive. They are rapid and carry dangerous materials such as mud, rocks and wood that can cause casualties in the areas they pass through. The Sabo Dam project in the Rua sub-district was planned to withstand the onslaught of material swept away by flash floods. It has a watershed area of 1.8 km² and a river length of 3.63 km. A hydrological analysis was conducted to provide an overview of the potential for flash flooding in the Rua River. This analysis describes hydrological phenomena such as maximum runoff discharge in order to predict the Sabo Dam's design strength. Maximum runoff discharge was calculated using the Nakayasu HSS method. The results of the data analysis showed that the maximum runoff discharge in the Rua watershed for a 50-year return period was 32.51 m³/second.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build an integrated operational information system on a web-based platform as an effective solution to these problems. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, UML- based design, implementation with PHP and the Laravel framework, and testing via the black-box method. The result of this research is a functional web-based application that successfully integrates three main modules: operational service logging, employee attendance management, and automated financial reporting. Black-box testing results show that 100% of the system's functionalities are valid and align with defined requirements. The developed system is proven to increase process efficiency, ensure data accuracy, and accelerate report delivery, thereby supporting better decision-making at the Ciwastra Post Office.

Abstract

Necrotic soft tissue infection (NSTI) is a rapidly progressing skin infection characterized by necrosis of the fascia and subcutaneous tissue, while Ludwig's angina is a severe connective tissue infection of the floor of the mouth, often a complication of a dental infection, which can cause upper airway obstruction if left untreated. This study presents the case of a 32-year-old female patient with no previous hospitalization who presented to the Emergency Room with a wound and pain radiating from the neck to the chest, lasting for one week. The patient underwent a standard diagnostic and therapeutic protocol, including aggressive debridement under general anesthesia, with skin preservation and reconstruction via partial-thickness skin graft (STSG) for the wound defect. Ludwig's angina is primarily caused by infection of the mandibular molars, particularly the second and third molars, which account for more than 90% of cases. Although relatively rare, NSTI is characterized by rapid necrosis of the fascia and subcutaneous fat, leading to skin necrosis. Vigilance for the development of complications from cellulitis to NSTI, especially in cases thought to be caused by Ludwig's angina, is essential. Factors such as potential window periods for HIV and malnutrition need to be considered, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between reconstructive surgery specialists, epidemiologists, and thoracic and vascular disciplines to improve treatment strategies and preventive measures.

Abstract

This study analyzes psychological autopsy research with the aim of better understanding the objectives, methods and results of the research. There are 6 cases in the study, with 5 foreign countries and 1 from Indonesia. The results of the study show that psychological autopsies conducted abroad and in Indonesia have similarities in collecting data related to victims, namely using documents related to the victim, interviews, also using clinical interviews for DSM-IV Axis I, but for DSM-IV Personality Disorders (SCID-II) clinical interviews have not been used in psychological autopsies in Indonesia. Psychological autopsy research in Indonesia is still rarely done based on a search with the keyword psychology autopsy in Indonesia only found one study related to psychological autopsy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of replacing old postpaid kWh meters with new postpaid kWh meters on kWh sales at ULP Talang Padang. The research methods included comparative analysis of old and new meter reading data, manual measurement of electrical parameters (voltage, current, power factor), and statistical tests of measurement errors. The results showed that meter replacement significantly improved recording accuracy, meaning that replacing new kWh meters was effective in reducing energy losses and increasing PLN's revenue.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of increasing the capacity of the Aswatama – Kawah Sikidang road section on traffic flow in the Dieng tourist area. The accidental sampling technique was used to select the research sample on observation data after the project, and data before the project was obtained from the Banjarnegara Regency Transportation Agency. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively to describe the condition of the Gangsiran Aswatama – Kawah Sikidang road section before and after the increase in road capacity and using inferential statistics for the effect of the increase in capacity on traffic flow in the tourist area. The results showed that increasing road capacity on the Aswatama – Kawah Sikidang section successfully increased the road capacity, as well as reduced the degree of saturation (DS) which showed a significant improvement in traffic performance. The Mann-Whitney U test confirmed a significant difference in vehicle volume before and after the project which indicated that traffic flow became smoother despite the risk of induced demand in the future

Abstract

This study aims to compare the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) value with the laboratory California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value on soil classified as SC according to USCS and A-2-6 according to AASHTO. Soil samples were taken from the area of the Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) South Sumatra at a depth of ±60 cm in three test points. The laboratory tests included natural moisture content, specific gravity, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and standard Proctor compaction. The compaction test results showed an optimum moisture content of 18.06% and a maximum dry density of 1.70 g/cm³. The CBR values were obtained from laboratory testing, while the DCP values were measured through dynamic cone penetration on the same samples. Correlation analysis using four methods (PUPR, ASTM, Kleyn, and Zumrawi) indicated varying results. The PUPR method produced the most consistent estimates compared to laboratory data, while ASTM D6951-03 achieved the highest coefficient of determination (R^2 = 0.9743). The Kleyn method remained applicable though less accurate, whereas the Zumrawi method showed significant deviations and was unsuitable for the soil conditions in this study. These findings confirm that the DCP test can serve as a rapid and efficient alternative for estimating CBR values of subgrade soils with similar characteristics.

Abstract

This research aims to study the concept of maqashid sharia according to Imam Asy-Syatibi and its application in sharia economics. Imam Asy-Syatibi is a figure who developed the concept of maqashid sharia, which emphasizes achieving the benefit of the people by using the principle of maslahah murlahah in determining Islamic law. The research method used is library research by looking for references and previous studies sourced from books, journals and articles. The results of the research show that Imam Asy-Syatibi's maqashid sharia covers important aspects such as ownership, production, consumption, distribution, and fiscal policy, so that his thinking is worthy of being the basis for implementing maqashid sharia in sharia economics and finance to achieve the welfare of the people because it is able to play a role important in guiding Islamic economic policies and practices.
