Abstract

The success of an education is largely determined by many factors, some of the factors in supportingthese successes are the quality of human resources (HR), facilities, infrastructure, and the curriculum used. The change in curriculum requires teachers to understand and be able to implement all these changes in the learning process in the classroom, but not many teachers understand and are able to implement these changes in learning activities, especially in the use of learning methods. Therefore, this paper will attempt to examine the Sad Dharma method of learning of Hindu religious education and character entitled "Sad Dharma as a Learning Method of Hindu Religious Education and Character of 2013 Curriculum in SMPGurukula Bangli". This paper used qualitative research methods, the location of research was in SMP Gurukula Bangli, the type of data was descriptive data with primary and secondary data sources, informant determination techniques used purposive sampling technique, data collection methods used observation, interview, library study, and documentation techniques, and used data analysis techniques and presentation techniques of data analysis results. Based on the tests which were carried out, it could be stated that the Sad Dharma method was applied in its entirety starting from the dharma wacana, dharma tula, dharma santi, dharma gita, dharma sadhana, and dharma yatra. Constraints faced by its implementation were teacher, facilities, and curriculum. The implications of the implementationof Sad Dharma learning methods were the implications for spiritual attitudes, implications for social attitudes, implications for cognitive/knowledge and implications for psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

Tapini has a strategic position in the yajña ceremony This feminist figure in the perspective of Hindu theology has been able to become a ceremonial leader even though it is customary to wait until the Pedanda dies. However, sometimes also in a Pakraman Village such as Sanur, the Pedanda of the one who has not died gives Pedanda his wife the opportunity to become the leader of the ceremony when she is overwhelmed to accept the wishes of Hindus so that she becomes the leader of the yajña ceremony . This shows that the current relationship in the position of leader of the ceremony is a serious challenge because a Tapini must also be an expert in the position of Goddess, as a teacher, and as an tukang banten.

Abstract

The myth of Ida Ratu Gede Mas Macaling Dalem Nusa still exists until now. The myth is so alive in the Balinese social environment that it is made to be identical with everything which is mysterious. Its existence is always connected with the practice of native healing and other growing and developing traditional spiritual practices. There are several palm-leaf manuscripts narrating the existence of Ida Ratu Gede Mas Macaling Dalem Nusa. The version narrated in one palm-leaf manuscript is different from that narrated in another. However, his existence is always connected with the existence of one small island named Nusa Penida, an island which is under his control. He is pictured as a “frightening” spirit and the myth and his existence have hypnotized the Balinese people; therefore, it is interesting to investigate the myth. The existence of the myth is described from the perspective of the mysticism of Bhairawa Tantra, which developed rapidly during its era in Bali.

Abstract

Light can be understood only if we know the darkness. Similarly, the truths can be fully comprehended only if you know the falsehoods also. Many western philosophers, like Mark Twain, said “Majority is always in the wrong.” To understand Vedic science one must therefore know: (a) The role played by the money power. The destiny of the entire earth is controlled by the money power. Without money none of us can survive. So, everything we do, do not do, and cannot do is motivated by our desire and security of money. (b) Yogic power, which is the highest level power, even above the money power, if you can acquire it. It controls the global destiny of the entire universe. (c) Modern science, which is the product of the global destiny, as well as the money power or the destiny of the earth.Once you understand destiny, you will of course not blame anybody, including global, earth, or individual destiny. We will show with examples that all results of modern science are based on  or derived from assumptions. Since assumptions cannot be valid for nature and engineering,  modern  science therefore cannot represent the nature, and be applicable to nature and engineering. For the same reason results of modern science can never be demonstrated. It must be realized that there is a heaven   and hell difference between modern science and modern engineering. Since engineering uses science, all of engineering is full of patches and kludges, and therefore engineering is very unreliable, and pollutes environment. On the other hand the Vedic science is entirely based on observations, just like what Galileo observed. Vedic science does not therefore has any assumptions, and it is a record of what you see as happening in nature. The Vedic science also has another very crucial difference – it observed two types of causes: (a) efficient cause and (b) material cause, behind every phenomenon. As a result Vedic science is valid for the entire universe and for all time, past, present, and future. We will illustrate all results of Vedic science with observations in nature. Such examples will be beyond comprehension of modern science.
