Abstract

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death, requiring early detection for prompt and accurate treatment. This study aims to develop a heart disease prediction model using ensemble learning methods, specifically the Adaptive Boosting (AdaBoost) technique. This method combines several weak models to improve the accuracy of heart disease classification based on patient data. The results show that applying the ensemble learning technique with the AdaBoost method produces a highly accurate model, especially after adding demographic features such as gender and age. The model's accuracy increased from 93.75% to 100%, with precision, recall, and F1-score reaching a perfect score of 1.00 for both classes. With these excellent results, the AdaBoost method has proven to be effective in detecting heart disease at an early stage, providing opportunities for more timely and effective medical interventions. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of early heart disease detection technology and improve patient quality of life through more accurate diagnoses.

Abstract

Abstract - This study aims to determine the most ideal agent location to serve customers in an area using the Spherical Law of Cosines method. In the analysis of agent assignment, determining the distance between the agent and the customer can be calculated precisely using the Spherical Law of Cosines method, thus facilitating more efficient agent assignments and reducing access constraints for customers. It is important to determine an accurate and fast method for calculating the distance between agents and customers. Accuracy results containing reference distance, average distance, and accuracy in percent. The reference shows the kilometer distance ranging from 1 km to 10 km. Average shows the average distance calculated using the Spherical Law of Cosines method, the average distance remains constant at 0.634952 km for all distances. Abstract

Dalam era digital yang berkembang pesat, jumlah data teks online meningkat signifikan, mencakup ulasan produk, komentar media sosial, dan artikel berita. Analisis sentimen, yang penting untuk memahami opini masyarakat, membutuhkan praproses teks dengan menghapus stopwords tidak signifikan. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan algoritma TF-IDF untuk menghasilkan stopwords kontekstual dan membandingkan pengaruhnya terhadap akurasi model analisis sentimen dengan stopwords standar. Hasil menunjukkan TF-IDF membantu mengidentifikasi kata-kata kurang penting, namun stopwords Sastrawi lebih baik mengenali konteks. Evaluasi dengan rasio pembagian data yang berbeda (90:10, 80:20, 70:30) menunjukkan akurasi tertinggi sebesar 0.789 pada rasio 80:20, meskipun ada ruang untuk peningkatan. Studi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja model analisis sentimen dengan daftar stopwords yang lebih sesuai.

Abstract

The transformation of higher education institutions from conventional Information Technology (IT)-based systems to Smart Universities requires a systemic and adaptive approach based on artificial intelligence. This study proposes and evaluates the design of an Agentic AI architecture to support academic management and services proactively and autonomously. Using a Design Science Research (DSR) approach, this study designs a multi-agent architecture-based system consisting of sub-agents such as Academic Planner, Advising Agent, and Evaluation Agent. The system was tested with a data sample based on academic service simulation using 500 student entries. The test results show an increase in academic service efficiency, characterized by an average response time of 880 ms, a KRS recommendation accuracy of 92.4%, and a user satisfaction level of 4.5 out of 5. A comparison of the baseline and state-of-the-art shows significant improvements in terms of interoperability, personalization, and operational efficiency. This study concludes that the Agentic AI architecture can be a strategic framework in accelerating the digitalization of academic services and supporting the transformation of higher education institutions towards AI-based Smart Universities.

Abstract - The development of information and communication technology is something that cannot be denied today, technological advances are in line with existing scientific advances that have provided a lot of convenience in carrying out various activities. Alumni tracer or often also called Tracer Study is a way used to find out the condition of alumni, monitor alumni, and be able to find out how alumni work whether it is in accordance with the competencies that alumni have. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using the Visual Studio Code (VSCode) text editor in the development process of personal websites by novice-level university students. As the demand for web programming skills continues to grow in the digital era, the choice of development tools plays a crucial role in determining student success and productivity. The research employed a qualitative observational approach with a descriptive method. The findings indicate that all participants successfully completed their personal website projects within a relatively efficient time frame, averaging between 8 and 12 hours. VSCode's built-in features significantly facilitated the coding process, particularly through automated linting and IntelliSense, which helped reduce HTML and CSS syntax errors. The use of extensions such as Live Server and Prettier further enhanced testing efficiency and code readability. In terms of output quality, all websites met basic standards for functionality and navigational structure, with visual variations reflecting each student’s creativity.

Abstract

Fajar University's (UNIFA) adoption of contemporary technology demonstrates the necessity of an improved digital information system for the administration of student activities. Workflows that are now done by hand are laborious and prone to errors. The purpose of this research, "Creating a Content Management System for a Website for Submitting Organizational Activities Using the Express.js and React.js Framework," is to improve student involvement, develop an effective content management system, and make material updating easier. Literature studies, observation, and interviews are examples of research methodologies. It has been demonstrated that utilizing Express.js and React.js in CMS development can improve activity management efficiency by facilitating online proposal submission and approval. System testing revealed strong functionality and encouraging user feedback. Based on testing with fourteen users, the system has a 93% success rate, expedites the approval process, and lowers errors. Additionally, system upkeep and staff training are done to guarantee efficacy and ongoing improvement.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where children under five years of age suffer from long-term nutritional deficiencies and cause growth and development disorders, increasing morbidity and mortality. Handling the nutritional status of stunting in Indonesia, especially in Polewali Mandar Regency, is important considering that stunting cases in toddlers are a serious problem. To assist health workers in determining the nutritional status of stunting, an appropriate and effective method is needed. This study will provide an alternative way to determine the nutritional status of stunting using Data mining techniques, namely the Naive Bayes and K-Means methods with anthropometric indicators. There are 173 toddler data processed. The results of the study show that the combination of the two methods for the accuracy value of the Naive Bayes algorithm has a value of 89% while K-Mens has a value of 54%. By using the precision parameter, the Naive Bayes algorithm has a value of 84% while K-Mens has a value of 58%. By using the recall parameter, the Naive Bayes algorithm has a value of 97% while K-Mens has a value of 60%. Based on the values obtained, it can be concluded that the Naive Bayes algorithm has higher accuracy, precision and recall when compared to the K-Means algorithm..
