<![CDATA[Interaction, if not wisely considered, may be very risky. The unwise utterances maylead to misunderstanding. When this happens, pragmatic failure is of greatpossibility occur. This writing is aimed at describing the some variations ofspeech seqeunces in doing request and the reasons of using each variation. Thedata are the request uttered by English Department students Andalas Universityto their friends, their lecturer and vice versa at the campus. Data are collected byobservational method, interviewing and note-taking technique. To analyze the data,pragmatic and referential identity method is used. The result of analysis isnaratively and descriptively presented. Having been related to the concept ofspeech act of request (Revita, 2008) and context (Yule, 1986), it is found that thereare four variations of speech sequence when English Department students dorequest. They are (a) (1) 1 in 1; (b) 2 in 1; (c) 3 in 1; and (d) multi acts in 1. Thechoice of these variations is basically based on several reasons, namely (i) social;(ii)psychological; (iii) cultural ; and (iv) religious aspect.Keywords: Sequence, request, short message service]]>

<![CDATA[تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد أشكال الأخطاء النحوية في ترجمة كتاب نصائح العباد من اللغة العربية إلى اللغة الإندونيسية. وهذه مهمة للبحث لتغير المعانى والأفكار الأصلية. ذلك لأن المعانى والأفكار عاملة رئيسية لايتمكن من حذفها. يستخدم الباحث فيها منهج الوصفي الكمي ونظرية الترجمة ويجد النتيجة أن أشكال الأخطاء النحوية تتناول على فعل وإسم وحرف. وأما الإسم فهو إسم الضمير واسم المكان وصفة الموصوف. وأما الفعل فهو فعل شرط وفعل متعدي. وأما الحرف فهو حرف كم وحرف إلا وحرف ألا.]]>

<![CDATA[This article demonstrates several aspects of the conversation analytic approach asrevealed from the transcribed data. Through Conversation Analysis (CA), it isrevealed that preference organization, another aspect of sequence organization,does occur in the communication. Moreover, CA shows the constitution of themeaning of utterances through sequential reasoning. <![CDATA[ومن الأمور الأخلاقية التى يهتم بها الإسلام الفقر وعلاجه حتى وردت الآيات فى الحث على علاجه. ولكن لا يستطيع أي أحد أن يتجنبه قبل بيانه من خلال القرآن بمنهج خاص حتى انكشفت معانيه وأنواعه وعلاجه. ومن ناحية أخرى، إن معنى الفقر الذى اشتهر عند الناس منحصر فى فقر المال فحسب، بل الفقر إلى الله تعالى داخل تحت إسم الفقر وإن كان الغالب فيه فقر المال. ولحل كيفية علاج الفقر فى تصور القرآن الكريم ولرعاية الناس من الفهم الخطأ فيها، ذهب الكاتب كشف موقف القرآن حول الفقر أهو شيئ محبوب أو مرغوب عنه، وبعد ذلك بين الباحث كيفية علاجه باستخدام منهج موضوعي بطريقة وسيلة معينة وطريقة جمع المواد وتحليلها وتنظيمها حسب طرق المنهج الموضوعي.رأى الباحث أن الفقر هو وصف عدمي يعنى عدم وفاء الكسب والمال لمؤنته ومؤونة عياله بالكلية أو بعضها وهو يشترك مع معنى المسكنة وإن اختلفا فى أيهما أسوأ حالا. وموقف القرآن أنه لا يريد أحدا فقيرا بل يحثه فى طلب الرزق ليكون عاملا للأعمال الصالحة المحتاجة إلى المال فى تطبيقها. فالفقر ليس أمرا محبوبا ولا أمرا مأمورا بل هو مجتنب عنه بل تارة يدعو إلى كفر. فيجب للغني أو الموسر علاجه إما بإخراج الزكاة وهى أولى الوسائل لعلاج ذلك التفاوت وتحقيق التكافل أو الضمان الاجتماعي في الإسلام أو صدقة التطوع أو الإنفاق المرغّب فيه من الله أو الأجرة أو الإطعام من الهدي والفدية ونهما أو النكاح بمزيد اهتمامه في الكسب والجد التام في السعي حيث ابتلى بمن تلزمه نفقتها شرعا وعرفا.]]>

<![CDATA[The most common problem encountered by the learner in the languageacquisition process is learner inhibition. Inhibition refers to a temperamentaltendency to display wariness, fearfulness, or restrain in response tounfamiliar people, objects, and situations. There are some factors that causeinhibition, such as lack of motivation, shyness, self-confidence, self-esteem,and language ego. There are also levels of inhibition, it refers to kinds ofinhibition and caused of inhibition itself. <![CDATA[هذه الرسالة دراسة علمية عن المحاباة معناها ومضمونها (دراسة لغوية وأدبية من خلال الأحاديث النبوية) وهي دراسة علمية ترتكز على ثلاث مشاكل وهى نظرية الأحاديث فى معنى المحاباة ومضمونها وخصائصها والعوامل الدافعة إلى فعلها وأثرها فى الحياة الدنيوية والعقاب فى الآخرة.ولحل المشكلات المذكورة استخدم الكاتب طريقة جمع المواد وطريقة تحليلها وتنظيمها حتي يتبين أن المحاباة فى الحديث النبوي قد يختلف معناها بالمعنى المشهور عند الناس الذين اختصروها فى القرابة فحسب مع أن الكاتب رأى أنه لا بد فى تعريف المحاباة او أي شيئ من الأشياء نظر ماهية المحاباة وفاعلها ومعمولها، فماهية المحاباة هى التفضل والتقريب والتقديم لمن ليس له أهلية أوكفاءة فى الإمارة وقوية فى إقامة الوظيفة وتطبيقها ومصلحة سياسية او فى الإندونيسية (Orang yang tidak memiliki profesionalitas, kredibilitas dan kebijakan politis) ومعمول المحاباة هى الأقرباء والقبائل والأصدقاء أو بكلمة قصيرة من له علاقة به.فالحديث النبوي يبين إجمالا عن المحاباة التى خوفها الله والرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وقوعها فى الحياة الإسلامية من تعريفها وخصائصها وعواملها الدافعة إليها وأثرها فى الحياة الدنيوية وعقابها فى الآخرة حتى يمكن أن يقال بأن المحاباة منهي عنها حتى لا توجد فى حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.]]>

<![CDATA[The correlation between self-confidence and the students’ speakingperformance. Thesis of Amik Global Kendari. The research aims finding outthe correlation between the students’ self-confidence and their speakingperformance. The method applied in this research was correlation itemployed of instrument namely questionnaire basic on indicators both ofthem. The questionnaire was used to find out the students’ self-confidenceand the students’ speaking performance. The population of the secondsemester, fourth semester and six semester students were 130 and the sampleconsisted of 30 students of Amik Global Kendari in academic year 2014-2015. The data collected by analyzed by using SPSS version 22, byconsulting with the standard of critical value (r) 5 % of significance and thenumber of sample (N) = 30. Participants’ mean score of self-confidence68.1333, and students’ speaking performance 67.2667 and participants’standard deviation of the students’ self-confidence 6.9063 and the students’speaking performance 6.61208, the sig. (2 tailed) 0.000 0.05, mean that thereis any positively significant correlation between students’ self-confidence andthe students’ speaking performance about 91.8 %, on sig. 95%.Keywords: Self-Confidence, Speaking Performance]]>

<![CDATA[هذه الرسالة تبحث عن العدالة كما صورها القرآن الكريم التى ابتعد فيها كثير من الناس خاصة المسلمين أن يحكموا بالعدل بين الناس، مع أنه قد وردت عدة آيات فى وجوب العدالة وأقسامها وأهميتها. ولفهم تلك الآيات المتعلقة بالعدالة، ذهب الكاتب أن يبينها بمنهج علم التفسير وطريقة تفسير موضوعي بوسيلة دينية وفلسفية بجمع المواد حسب لفظه وموضوعه وتحليله بالقياسية والإستقرائية والمقارنة بالنظر إلى كتب التفاسير والكتب الآخرى التى لها ثقة قوية بالموضوع لكي يفهم الكاتب والقارئ هذا الموضوع جيدا حتى نستطيع تطبيقها فى حياتنا اليومية.الإسلام قد جعل العدل فوق كل شيء، فهو يزن بالقسطاس المستقيم بين الكافر والمسلم، والعدو والموالي والمعاهد، فهم جميعا في نظره أمام العدالة سوا. والأمة الإسلامية قيمة على الحكم بين الناس بالعدل متى حكمت في أمرهم. فهذا العدل الذي لم تعرفه البشرية قط- على هذه الصورة- إلا على يد الإسلام، وإلا في حكم المسلمين، وإلا في عهد القيادة الإسلامية للبشرية.فالعدل ميزان الله فى الارض يدعو إلى الألفة ويبعث على الطاعة وتنعم به الأرض وتنمو به الأموال وتكثر العمران ويعم الأمان سواء كان فى الأحكام او فى المعاملات والعدول عنه يؤدى الى مؤاخذة العباد فينبغى ان يجتنب اظلم والمراد بالظلم ان يتضرر به الغير والعدل ان لا يتضرر منه احد بشيء ما.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was intended to notice the finding of what types of rapport builtby the lecturer in teaching speaking and what was the student’ perceptionregarding to rapport established by the lecture in the class. This study useddescriptive qualitative method. The result of this research was expected to bereference for English teachers and or lecturers and students to enhance thequality of teaching and learning English especially how to build a goodrelationship between teacher and or lecturer and students in teaching speakingskill. To obtain the data of this research observation sheet, questionnaire, andinterview were used. These instruments revealed that the lecturer applied allthe observed rapport in this research approriately and got very positiveresponse from the students.
