Abstract

The correlation between self-confidence and the students’ speakingperformance. Thesis of Amik Global Kendari. The research aims finding outthe correlation between the students’ self-confidence and their speakingperformance. The method applied in this research was correlation itemployed of instrument namely questionnaire basic on indicators both ofthem. The questionnaire was used to find out the students’ self-confidenceand the students’ speaking performance. The population of the secondsemester, fourth semester and six semester students were 130 and the sampleconsisted of 30 students of Amik Global Kendari in academic year 2014-2015. The data collected by analyzed by using SPSS version 22, byconsulting with the standard of critical value (r) 5 % of significance and thenumber of sample (N) = 30. Participants’ mean score of self-confidence68.1333, and students’ speaking performance 67.2667 and participants’standard deviation of the students’ self-confidence 6.9063 and the students’speaking performance 6.61208, the sig. (2 tailed) 0.000 0.05, mean that thereis any positively significant correlation between students’ self-confidence andthe students’ speaking performance about 91.8 %, on sig. 95%.Keywords: Self-Confidence, Speaking Performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen life skills siswa. Instrumen pengukuran life skills siswa berupa seperangkat instrumen non tes penilaian diri (self report) dengan skala Likert. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan metode multistage random sampling. Secara konseptual, konstruk life skills terdiri dari 5 dimensi, yakni: kecakapan personal kesadaran diri, kecakapan personal berpikir rasional, kecakapan sosial, kecakapan akademik, dan kecakapan vokasional. Melalui telaah pakar dan panelis terpilih 67 butir dan nilai koefisien reliabilitas interrater di atas 0,8. Instrumen diujicobakan kepada siswa SMA kelas XI, tahap pertama dan kedua masing-masing sebanyak 335 siswa. Secara empiris, melalui pengujian analisis faktor konfirmatori didapatkan nilai loading factor di atas 0,3 dan nilai t lebih dari 1,96. Dari perhitungan nilai koefisien reliabilitas multidimensi menunjukkan bahwa nilai reliabilitas konstruk (CR) lebih dari 0,9 dan nilai Variance Extracted (VE) lebih besar dari 0,6 yang berarti tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen penilaian life skills siswa SMA tergolong tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen penilaian life skills ini telah memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas konstruk yang baik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku teks bahasa Indonesia SMP yang dipakai di DIY. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang berwujud kajian tekstual. Sumber data penelitian adalah buku teks bahasa Indonesia SMP kelas VII, VIII, dan IX yang dipakai di DIY. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padan subjenis inferensial. Validitas data dengan validitas semantik sedangkan reliabilitas data dengan teknik intrarater dan interater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku teks pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SMP di DIY ditemukan terdiri atas lima hubungan karakter. Kelima hubungan karakter tersebut, meliputi nilai karakter manusia terhadap Tuhan, diri sendiri, sesama, lingkungan, dan bangsa. Di antara kelima hubungan karakter dalam buku teks pelajaran, hubungan karakter manusia terhadap Tuhan yang paling sedikit ditemukan. Sebaliknya, karakter manusia terhadap diri sendiri dan sesama lebih intensif kemunculannya. Hal itu menyiratkan bahwa penulis buku ingin menekankan pada aspek manusia yang memiliki kehidupan pribadi dan kehidupan sosial. Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, buku teks, SMP CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES IN THE INDONESIAN LANGUAGE TEXT BOOKS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN SPECIAL REGION OF YOGYAKARTA Abstract: This study aimed at describing the character education values in the Indonesian language textbooks used for junior high schools in DIY. This research was a descriptive textual study. The data sources were the Indonesian language textbooks used in grades VII, VIII, and IX of junior high schools in DIY. Data analysis was performed using inferential subtype match. Validity of the data used semantic validity, while reliability of data used techniques of intrarater and interater. The results showed that the values of character education in the Indonesian language textbooks for junior high schools in the province consisted of five character relationships. The five relationships included the value of human characters towards God, ourselves, others, the environment, and the nation. Among the five relationships in textbooks, the character of the relationship between man and God was found to be the least. In contrast, the human character of relationship between self and others apperared to more intensive. This implies that the author wants to emphasize the human aspect that has a stronger tendency towards personal and social lives. Keywords: character education, textbooks, SMP

Abstract

Abstract: EGFR mutations is associated with sensitivity to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI’s) therapy which are found in Lung Adenocarcinoma. There are some limitations in detecting EGFR mutation. CEA is also expected to predict treatment efficiency of EGFR-TKI's therapy. In this study, we investigated the relationship between serum Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) Mutations in Lung Adenocarcinoma patient. Methods : The research was conducted in Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital Malang. From May 2014 to November 2015, 54 lung adenocarcinoma patients who had underwent measurements of EGFR  mutation and serum CEA level were retrospectively recruited. None of them had surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and  targeted therapy. EGFR mutation was detected using PCR, serum CEA levels were analyzed using electrochemical luminescence. Result: Abnormal serum levels of CEA were significantly associated with EGFR mutation (95% CI, P=0,043) with an odds ratio of 3.4 (95% CI: 1.010-11.451). The area under the ROC curve for CEA was 0.558 (95% CI, P=0.078). Conclusion: Serum CEA is associated with mutation of EGFR in lung adenocarcinoma patients.  Keywords : Lung cancer, adenocarcinoma, EGFR, CEA

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine the criteria of foxtail millet seedlings in coastal area and the effects of N, P, K fertilizer and water hyacinth ameliorant powder on growth characters of young foxtail millet plant in coastal saline land. The study was conducted at south coast, Bunton Village, Adipala District, Cilacap Regency in May-October 2019. Study in coastal saline land with factorial Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications. The treatment consisted of two factors, namely the dosage of N, P, K fertilizer (N, P, K = 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% recommended dosage) and the water hyacinth powder ameliorant dose i.e.  0 t / ha, 1.5 t / ha and 2.5 t / ha. Observation variables on seedling morphology viz. seedling height, leaf length, stem diameter, number of leaf and leaf greenness, and on.the field viz. plant height, number of leaf, fresh and dry root weights, total root length, and fresh and dry shoot weights. The results showed that good seedling criteria was. Plant height  (24-26 cm), leaf length (15-17 cm), leaf number (3-6), stem diameter (3,2-3,6 cm) and leaf greeness (18,6-20,9 unit). Application of fertilizer dosages of N, P, K 50% + without ameliorant gained the greater plant height of 62.76 cm and number of leaf of 7.28 than other treatments

Abstract

This study is to explain the meaning of verb angngerang ‘membawa’ in coastal Konjo dialect of Konjo language by using Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM) theory. This study uses qualitative method. This study is conducted by three stages, such as: (1) data collecting, (2) data processing, and (3) presentation of results from data processing. The data contains the verb of angngerang ‘membawa’ from native speakers of coastal Konjo dialect of Konjo language. By applying the interview and stimulation technique is reached that verb angngerang ‘membawa’ is included in action verb category. Data is recorded in the card data and presented by using explication technique or paraphrasing. The result of analysis showed that the verb angngerang‘membawa’ consist of (1) verb, (2) 14 lexicons, and (3) the entire lexicons are NSM syntactic patterned: X doing something to Y and Y moving.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan interaksi pupuk organik cair dosis dan jenis Mulsa organik, mendapatkan dosis pupuk organik cair Papuagro, jenis terbaik Mulsa organik pada pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang Ijo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa kuler, Kecamatan Naukenjerai, Kabupaten Merauke, dengan ketinggian ± 25 meter di atas permukaan laut, dari bulan Agustus sampai November 2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan blok acak desain faktorial (RAKF), dengan 4 dosis pupuk organik cair Papuagro yang terdiri dari 4 tingkat adalah P0 (tanpa pupuk organik cair), P1 (40 ml/15 liter air), P2 (65ml/15 liter air), P3 (90ML /15 liter air) dan tiga jenis pengobatan Mulsa diulang tiga replikasi dengan 3 tingkat M0 (tanpa Mulsa), M1 (Mulsa jerami 5 ton/Ha atau 1,5 kg/plot (3m2)), m2 (Mulsa sekam 5 ton/Ha atau 1,5 kg/plot (3m2)). Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan interaksi yang berbeda secara signifikan pada komponen pertumbuhan cabang usia 21 hari setelah tanam di (POC-65ml/15 liter air + jerami Mulsa 5 ton/Ha atau 1,5 kg/plot) perawatan dan berat komponen produksi 100 bibit dalam pengobatan total produksi (POC 65ml/15 liter air + jerami Mulsa 5 ton/Ha atau 1,5 kg/plot) dan (POC 65ml/15 liter air + jerami Mulsa 5 ton/Ha atau 1,5 kg/plot) dalam kombinasi pengobatan dengan hasil rata-rata 2,72 ton/Ha dan pengobatan terbaik sebanding dengan hasil yang potensial dari deskripsi varietas Vima 1 adalah 1,76 ton/Ha. Abstract

This study aimed to find out: (1) the correlation between motivation and students’ speakingperformance; (2) the correlation between self-confidence and students’ speaking performance; (3) thesimultaneous contributed of motivation and self-confidence toward speaking performance; (4) which variableserves as the better predictor on speaking performance. Population of the study was 520 university students.Samples were determined using, firstly, a stratified random sampling; secondly simple random sampling, theresulting in 84 samples of the second, the fourth, the sixth, and eighth semester of Islamic religion educationstudy program Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Kendari in academic year 2015/2016. Data analyzed descriptively byconducting correlational design and multiple linear regressions using the SPSS 22. Data were collected by usingquestionnaires, speaking test and interview. The result finding showed that (1) there was a significant correlationbetween motivation and speaking performance. The contribution of motivation on speaking performance 59,1%,the correlation both of them ,769.** (2) there was significant correlation of Self-confidence on speakingperformance that’s accounts for 74,6%, and the correlation both of them ,864.** (3) motivation and selfconfidencecontributed simultaneously toward speaking performance 79, 5%, R² is 0,795. and the rest 29,1%accounted for the other variable. (4) this can be showed self-confidence is better predictor on speakingperformance than motivation.

Abstract

Positive attitude is the first priority on Indonesian learning that must have grown firstly. It goal is to set better Indonesian role in public education. It is showing that language education must get attention since elementary level then to be contunued and develop until the higher education level.On this simple paper is drawing the using ability of Indonesian of Elementary School students on five year in Jayapura. It correlate by school location, central or urban city, school state, sex, and their job's parents background.
