Abstract

The Agroindustry of local food in rural areas is an activity that can improve indigenous resources. All of local potencies done in rural area, not only to get benefit, but also to increase the role of agroindustry. The development of agroindustry is able to increase local food added value, income and opportunities for employment, and so far to get higher regional economic growth. One of theagroindustry in Kokap District , Kulon Progo is ”Sumber Rejeki”, a group of farmers that produce granulated coconut palm sugar.

Abstract

Durian (Durio zibethinus Murray) is a commodity fruits included in horticulture has a high economic value. Demand of durian both to be consumed and processed as dampuk in each season is increasing. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of farming and marketing of durian in Kota Palopo. The survey was conducted in Palopo City in May to December 2010. The results showed that the human resources of agribusiness commodities have the potential on farm characteristics and traders. The application of commodity production technologies is still unintensive due to the unqualified of seed. Durian farming in Palopo City is very beneficial (IRR = 28.44%) with plant economic life of 15 years. The market of Palopo durian are Palopo market town, Makassar, and the outside of the district/ province/island.

Abstract

Agriculture extension workers as a source of innovation must have good communication skills in spreading innovations to farmers. Field extension as a controller extension activities are a source of innovation information. Therefore, communication skills will affect the extension methods that are used to fit the target farmers and extension successes. Therefore PT. TAKII SEED in developing cabbage TI 157 need to develop models that can be accepted by farmers in the Pikatan village. In the counseling process, PT. TAKII SEED collaboration with UD TANI MAKMUR as a provider field asistant. Extension method used the method of audio-visual methods, Farmer Meeting method, and Farmer Field Day method.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analyze the revenue, cost and income of soybean farm in Sukoharjo Regency, reached the highest economic efficiency. The main method of this research was descriptive. The research was conducted in Sukoharjo Regency and taken 30 farmers as the sample. The samples are monoculture soybean farmer which selected by purposive sampling. The result shows that average cost of the soybean farmer was Rp 3.947.131,58/ha, the average revenue Rp 10.509.794,74 / ha and average income was Rp 6.562.663,16 / ha.

Abstract

The goals of this research are to understand (1) the play of role of the agricultural sector in growth of GRDP (Gross Regoinal Domestic Product) and the agricultural subsectors in growth of agricultural GRDP; (2) the stability and persistancy of sector and subsector agricultural and the compare with other sectors in economics. The results shows: (1) the play of role the agricultural sector in growth of GDRB, the third in series. It was share about 4.06%-17.34%. In Agricultural subsector, the play of role the food crops subsector in growth of GRDP agricultural sector, the highgest. It was share about 68.02%-71.34%. (2) The agricultural sector more stable compared with other sectors, and the short time lowest persistant compared with other sectors. The animal husbandary subsector more stable compared with other subsectors and food crops most persistant compared with other subsectors.
