MUADDIB: Studi Kependidikan dan Keislaman, with a registered number p-ISSN: 2088-3390, e-ISSN: 2540-8348 is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. It is at the national level that includes a lot of common issues or problems relating to sciences and Islamic Education. The purpose of the publication of this journal is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of Islamic Education and Islamic Studies. This research is done based on the context of Islamic education which it has been done too by the group of Salawatan Khataman Nabi. The interested fact is that the art of salawatan Khataman Nabi at Kauman Ponorogo led by mr.Mashuri not only successfully existed the traditional art, but also has educated people in Islamic education by applying this kind of art. This reseach is done to identify the model of Islamic education based on the art of Salawatan Khataman Nabi. The technic of data collection that used in this reseach is the collaboration between observation, documentation and deep interview to get complete data about the model of Islamic education done by the art of Salawatan Khataman Nabi at Ponorogo. The collected data in this reseach analized qualitatively before entering to the step of analisis the collected data is organized as well. In the step of organizing data it was edited systematically. It proposed to accomplish,explain and seek the relevant of data and the focus of this research found the bases of discovery about model of Islamic education based on the Salawatan Khataman Nabi, that contained of four models as follows: (1) the model of phoetry understanding in Javanese language; (2) the model of members awareness based on the ideal of their chief; (3) the model of continuited brotherhood relationship; and (4) the model of entertainment

PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS CERPEN MENGGUNAKAN SNOWBALL THROWING Lilis Sumaryanti

Writing can lead students to acquire and develop the power of reason. Therefore, learning to write must be done correctly to students from low-grade. The selection of appropriate learning media and methods as well as the variety of learning models will assist students in improving writing short stories. One way to improve students' skills of writing short stories is the use of models of snowball throwing. In fact there are many obstacles in learning to write short stories and is still oriented toward purely theoretical. Low interest teachers and students to learn to write, especially write short stories as well be one cause. Similarly, in the SDN Janti Slahung Ponorogo especially for students in grade V. Learning to write short stories have not been able to work as expected because 80% of grade V students learn to write student achievement is low, the value of Indonesian KKM 70.00 has not been achieved. To overcome these problems, the authors find a solution to save a way of throwing a snowball models packed in a class action research (PTK) of the cycle phases. Learning model used in this study and the model of snowball throwing fun it brings results. It can be seen from the results of student learning to write short stories I persiklus the cycle reaches the average value of 69.00 at the end of the second cycle, while the average achievement of students increased to 76.75 with 100% completeness. An increase in student achievement and motivation in learning to write short stories using the model of snowball throwing, this is evident from the sight of people exiting and student learning outcomes.

Learning is a complex activity in education, good teaching needs to be supported by systems and components, some of the learning system are students, teachers, methods (strategies) learning, learning activities and evaluation tool selection, some of these components are interrelated each other and support each other, to achieve the goal of education is needed in schools PAI (Islamic Education) assessment, some of the components of the learning objectives can be achieved as expected. Thus, reconstruction some of components is expected to maximize the learning activities at school, so the PAI learning objectives can be achieved.

This study describes the management of waqf in the field of health care. The object of waqf in this study is bandha waqf Masjid Agung Semarang which has a land area more than one hundred and thirthy hectares endowsments. Waqf in the field of health care has carried out the moslems from early history of Islam to the present. It also spreads all ove the moslem word, such as in Hijaz, Syam, Egypt, Sudan, and Indonesia. Management of bandha waqf in the field care can be devided into two polyclinics, namely Clinic Masjid Agung Semarang and Clinic Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah. In the futures, it will be developed in the form of a Islamic General Hospital and expected to provide broader health services.

The main purpose of this study is to explain the various concepts of paradigms in the social sciences. There are three paradigms in the social sciences, the paradigm of social facts, social definition, and social behavior. Social fact is something that is beyond the individual reality therefore social fact divided into two terms of the material entity and non material entity. Material entity is something tangible goods, while the unity of the non material entity is considered to be something that no goods. Social definition paradigm directs attention to how to interpret human social life or how they form a real social life. While the paradigm of social behavior discussing on individual behavior that takes place in an environment that causes or changes due to subsequent behavior. The differences between paradigm must be seen as positive because each paradigms can support buliding scientific tradition

The times in the last decadee has risen a lot of creativity and innovation in life, such asinternet in the information and communication technology. This breakthrough promises an easein communication, access and transfer, and even business transaction. However, the ease of internet facility can not be enjoyed by all people, including orphans, orphanage residents, and thepoor due to their limitedness. Presenting devotion and assistance in accessing the internet for theorphanage students is the form of alleviation from their limitedness, in addition to selfempowerment from any failed.
