Abstract

In an attempt to build ethnic Hindu youth and ethnic youths who are ethical and intelligent according to Hindu teachings, Hindu youth must understand and apply the formula of Hindu teachings through understanding and application of Hindu philosophical teaching or tattwa or darsana, understanding and application of Hindu moral teachings, as well as appreciation and practice of the Hindu religious ceremony on a regular basis (nitya karma) as well as within the appointed time (naimitika karma). The three core formulations of the teachings of Hinduism according to the source in the Vedas, should be understood in full and berintegratif anatara one doctrine with other teachings that support each other and unite in implementation.The importance of Hindu youth to understand the meaning of the teachings of Hinduism through tattwa, also very useful also ethical or ethical Hindu material to be the basis of ground, apply, and berkarma, so that his movement leads to good deeds (susila or subhakarma). This is not the ideals of the Hindu youth, because the ideals of the Hindu youth are for the realization of wise young Hindu cadres (gunamantha), wisdom (prajna), intelligent wisesa), acting well (sadhu), doing right (sukarma or subhakarma ), diligent work (karmani) is not lazy to work (akarmani), apply full value (mulya karma), as well as being a good and right young (suputra-suputri).

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to know the application of the use of methods of discussion and recitation can improve the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education fourth graders Elementary School 2 Tumbu. (2) to find out constraints faced in using the method of assignment and recitation in the learning of Hindu religious education fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tumbu.The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the subject of this research is the fourth grader of SD Negeri 2 Tumbu, the Hindu of 17 people from 22 students, consist of 10 men, and 7 women. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Tumbu Karangasem. This research was conducted in two cycles. One cycle consists of preparation, execution, observation and reflection. Data collection is done by test method. Then the data is analyzed by quantitative descriptive technique.The results of this study is an increase in learning outcomes, the initial reflection of the average learning outcomes of Hindu religious education amounted to 54.7 with 29,41% complete learning. Then, in the first cycle the average learning outcomes of Hindu religious education increased to 69.4 and the classical completeness of 64.71% is still less than the classical completeness set 85%. Thus, learning in cycle I has not been completed. In cycle II the average learning outcomes of Hindu religious education increased to 79.1 and 100% classical completeness, thus the learning cycle II completed.

Abstract

Religious learning in the era of technology and information will experience many obstacles in the realization if not accompanied by a contextual learning model. Teachings delivered will be more successful if delivered by forming aspects of sense and aspect ratio that can be accepted with common sense. Thus in the learning of religion should make the maximum innovation adjusted with space and time and in tune with the changes and development of the era. Abstract

Education is the human necessity and it has major role to gain better life. The education quality depends on the government policy, the societies’ role, and schools’ efforts to due education. The school is one of the institution that enrolls teaching and learning activity and it needs some components to support its activity. The achievement of educational quality can be seen on the students’ progress during teaching and learning process. The students’ achievement of Hinduism lesson is quite low caused they had nothing from the subjects that being learned. The Hinduism lesson students’ achievement using printed media and multimedia presentation due through classroom management, teaching materials, develop students’ learning activity, the assessment of teaching and learning process, and the assessment of comprehending concept/ knowledge, these results raise 20% from the former results.

Abstract

The need of higher education in the community has become the main thing for the future, not all can study at State Universities (PTN) but some must enter in Private Universities (PTS). But the problem that arises is the problem of tuition fees in the PTS course higher than the state university, the tendency of prospective students in choosing Higher Education (PT) based on cost and quality. While the problems from the PT side lies in the budget constraints in improving quality because of talk about the quality of course comprehensive from the means of lectures to the specialization of universities. Limitations of costs can at least be overcome by the synergy of universities, private companies and governments so it is not always student.

Abstract

Advancement of science and technology is growing rapidly can lead to positive effects and negative effects on mental students, such as the still many students who are less disciplined in dressing at school or even when following the lesson in the classroom and the lower the morale owned of the students themselves. Seeing such a phenomenon is feared will be increasingly declining mental and student behavior. So in this case the improvement of the quality of Hindu religious learning is very important role for Hindus in particular and not limited to students, because religion is a guide in behaving well in accordance with religious norms that will bring good mental changes in improving attitudes and behavior behavior, personality and budhi pekerti and moral existing in learners.

Abstract

Puja pangastuti dan rasa angayubagia kita haturkan kehadapan Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, karena atas anugerahNya Jurnal Penjaminan Mutu yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Institut Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar selesai tepat pada waktunya. Tulisan pada Jurnal Penjaminan Mutu ini didedikasikan sebagai penyebaran ide, gagasan, maupun masukan yang positif, karena proses penjaminan mutu dalam sebuah perguruan tinggi bukan hanya aktivitas untuk memastikan bahwa yang dijanjikan dapat terpenuhi melainkan juga meliputi usaha peningkatan mutu secara berkelanjutan, baik melalui perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan, monitoring dan evaluasi internal, evaluasi diri, audit, dan benchmarking maupun penyebaran gagasan melalui tulisan ilmiah. Siklus penjaminan mutu dimulai dengan penetapan standar mutu yang ingin dicapai dalam kurun waktu tertentu dan selanjutnya standar ini dilaksanakan dengan upaya semaksimal mungkin agar dapat terpenuhi. Untuk melihat kemajuan pelaksanaan standar tadi dan untuk memastikan bahwa arah pelaksanaan ini sesuai dengan rencana, perlu dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi. Evaluasi diri dilakukan terutama untuk melihat kekuatan dan kelemahan aturan pendidikan kaitannya dengan upaya pemenuhan standar. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah Audit Mutu Internal untuk melihat kepatuhan terhadap standar mutu yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil-hasil yang diperoleh dari tahapan monitoring dan evaluasi, evaluasi diri, dan audit mutu internal serta ditambah dengan masukan dari seluruh stakeholders melalui penerbitan jurnal penjaminan mutu ini digunakan sebagai pertimbangan di dalam melakukan peningkatan mutu.Semoga tulisan-tulisan yang termuat pada jurnal ini mampu memperkaya wawasan dan pengetahuan segenap civitas akademika baik di Institut Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar maupun perguruan tinggi lain bahkan masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Kritik dan saran yang membangun sangat kami harapkan dan terakhir kami ucapkan terimakasih kepada seluruh penulis yang telah berkenan memberikan buah pemikirannya, dan mohon maaf jika terdapat hal yang kurang berkenan.

Abstract

One of the effects of globalization is the increase of the opportunity of work but this is accompanied by the strict competition in getting job caused by globalization so the implementation system of university should continually be able to anticipate those dynamic changes that the alumnus has the high competition level. This condition underlines the urgency of system implementation of internal quality guarantee. System implementation of internal quality guarantee was made as the basis control management of the high education quality with national standard. The process of system implementation of internal quality guarantee was not far from quality, target of education implementation quality, and all documentations of quality that mus be socialized elements of academic and institution leader to implement optimally because the important values of effort from system of internal quality guarantee if the discovery gotten, was continued by planning and application of programs for future fixes. There were some crucial urgencies gotten by university in evaluation that was done by system of internal quality guarantee, university should; 1) able to identify power and weakness as the basis of arrangement of continue plan of development. 1) able to learn the opportunity to develop the quality of education, score the success of development effort, and do adaptation of programs; 3) able to know the level of performance success based on Standard, and 4) able to supply the valid report to holder of interest about progress and result-raised.

Abstract

The philosophy of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation is constructivism, which in the learning process is not transferring knowledge from teacher to students, but the students themselves who actively find something and build their own knowledge, not a mechanical process to collect facts. Students are responsible for the learning outcomes. Students make the reasoning of what they learn by means of finding meaning, comparing it with what is already known, and resolving the inequality between what is already known and what is needed in the new experience.

Abstract

In line with the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, the term scientific approach becomes the subject of discussion that attracts the attention of educators. Applying this approach becomes a teacher challenge through the development of student activities in learning, which in Hinduism is called catur pramana. This epistemology describes four ways to acquire and develop science, which can be called the Hindu scientific method. These ways are called prataykasa pramana. anumana pramana, upamana pramana and sabda pramana. Catur pramana can be applied in the learning of Hinduism and encourage the realization of student-centered learning. The application of scientific method of catur pramana in Hindu teaching aims to improve the quality of effective and enjoyable learning.
