Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif, baik secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 133 guru dari 35 SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Cipanas dan Pacet Kabupaten Cianjur, yang diambil dengan teknik proporsional sampling. Responden terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif. Dengan demikian, perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah menjadi faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam upaya menciptakan sekolah efektif.This study aims to determine the effect the behavior of school leadership and school climate for effective school, both partially and simultaneously. This Research using quantitative methods with the correlational approach. With 133 teachers for Samples from 35 primary schools in Kecamatan Cipanas and Pacet, Cianjur, the samples was taken with proportional sampling technique. Respondents consisted of principals and teachers. The results showed simultaneously, a significant difference between the behavior of school leadership and school climate for effective school. Thus, the behavior of school leadership and school climate is an important factor that must be considered in order to create an effective school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum optimalnya layanan pembelajaran yang diterima siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari kondisi empirik diantaranya sebagian guru yang menggunakan sarana pembelajaran berbasis IT, umpan balik siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran belum optimal, kondisi ruang kelas rusak ringan, dan hasil belajar siswa cukup tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah teranalisisnya pengaruh Pengelolaan Biaya Pendidikan dan Partisipasi Masyarakat terhadap Mutu Layanan Pembelajaran pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kota Bandung. Mutu layanan pembelajaran sebagai hasil dari kinerja guru profesional sehingga tercipta kepuasan belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 143 partisipan, terdiri dari 30 kepala madrasah, 30 ketua komite madrasah, dan 83 guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Pengelolaan Biaya Pendidikan pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kota Bandung berkategori sangat tinggi, 2) Partisipasi Masyarakat pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kota Bandung berkategori tinggi, 3) Mutu Layanan Pembelajaran pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kota Bandung berkategori sangat tinggi, 4) Pengelolaan Biaya Pendidikan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Mutu Layanan Pembelajaran dan berkategori cukup kuat, 5) Partisipasi Masyarakat tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Mutu Layanan Pembelajaran dan berkategori rendah, 6) Pengelolaan Biaya Pendidikan dan Partisipasi Masyarakat tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Mutu Layanan Pembelajaran dan berkategori cukup kuat. This research was motivated by learning services that student received is not optimal. This is evident from the empirical conditions including some teachers who use IT-based learning tools, the student feedback in learning activities not optimal, lightly damaged classrooms, and student learning outcomes is quite high. The research objective is unanalyzed influence Management of Cost Education and Community Participation on Quality of Learning Service at Private Elementary Madrasah in Bandung City. Quality of learning service as a result of the performance professional teachers to create satisfaction of student learning. These samples included 143 participants, consisting of 30 headmaster, 30 chairman of the school committee, and 83 teachers. The method used is descriptive-survey with quantitative approach. The results showed 1) Management of Cost Education at Private Elementary Madrasah in Bandung City categorized very high, 2) Community Participation in Private Elementary Madrasah in Bandung City categorized high, 3) Quality of Learning Service at Private Elementary Madrasah in Bandung City categorized very high, 4) Management of Cost Education positive and significant influence on Quality of Learning Service and categorized quite strong, 5) Community Participation no significant influence on Quality of Learning Service and categorized low, 6) Management of Cost Education and Community Participation no significant influence on Quality of Learning Service and categorized strong enough.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar  pengaruh iklim sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah  pada sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Lembang,  baik  secara parsial  maupun  secara  simultan. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan pendekatan  kuantitatif  dengan metode survey melalui analisis korelasi dan regresi.  Sampel penelitian  berjumlah 356 orang guru dan 31 kepala sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Lembang  menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling.  Hasil  analisis  data  menunjukkan bahwa secara  simultan,  terdapat pengaruh  yang  signifikan  antara  iklim sekolah  dan  motivasi kerja  secara  bersama-sama  terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 52,7%,  dan  47,3%sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan  demikian,  iklim sekolah dan moivasi kerja  menjadi faktor penting yang harus dibangun secara bersama-sama dalam upaya pencapaian kinerja kepala sekolah,  sehingga sinergisnya iklim sekolah, moivasi kerja diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja kepala sekolah.The aim of this study is to know how much the school climate and work motivation affect the principal’s  performance in elementary school in Kecamatan Lembang, either partially or simultaneously. This study used quantitative approach with survey method through correlation and regression analysis. The samples used are 356 teachers and 31 principals in Kecamatan Lembang by stratified random sampling technique. The result of data analysis shows that simultaneously, there is significant influence between the school climate  and the work motivation  collectively toward the principal’s performance by 52,7%and 47,3% influenced by other factors. Thus, the school climate and the work motivtion become an important factor that needs to be developed together in achieving the principa’s performance. Therefore, the synergist of the school climate and the work motivtion is expected to improve the principal’s  performance..

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengelolaan magang guru produktif SMK paket keahlian teknik sepeda motor berbasis kemitraan di SMK Negeri 6 Garut, Learning Center PT. Daya Adicipta Motora (DAM) dan Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS) yang terdiri dari dukungan kebijakan, efektifitas kegiatan, pembiayaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi magang. Tujuan penelitian ini terdeskripsikannya dukungan kebijakan, kegiatan, pembiayaan, pelaksanaan monitoring dan evaluasi serta dapat merumuskan konsep model hipotetik magang  guru. Posisi dan arti penting magang  guru untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru serta meningkatkan relevansi serta mutu pendidikan di SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, sajian data, penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan magang guru cukup efektif berdasarkan monitoring dan evaluasi walaupun dukungan kebijakan magang guru masih merujuk pada dukungan kebijakan pada level sekolah; kegiatan magang guru kurang direncanakan secara matang; pembiayaan magang guru tidak dianggarkan secara tersendiri oleh pihak SMK. Monitoring dan evaluasi magang guru dilakukan oleh DU/DI. Rekomendasi: magang guru perlu ada penetapan dukungan kebijakan dari para pemangku kepentingan, Kegiatan magang perlu direncanakan secara matang dengan anggaran yang tersendiri serta Monitoring dan Evaluasi magang dilakukan bersama, baik oleh SMK dan DU/DI dalam rangka meningkatkan profesionalitas guru.The focus of this study is to analyze the management of productive vocational teacher apprenticeship package motorcycle engineering expertise based on partnerships in SMK Negeri 6 Garut, Learning Center PT. DayaAdiciptaMotora (DAM) and Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS) consisting of policy support, effectiveness of activities, financing, monitoring and apprenticeships evaluation. The purpose of this study is to describe the policy support, activities, financing, monitoring and evaluation and can formulate the hypothetical model concept of apprentice teacher. The position and the importance of apprentice teachers to improve the professionalism of teachers and to improve the relevance and educationqualityof vocational high school. The method that is used is phenomenological study. Data collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of data through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed apprenticeship teacher activity is effective based on monitoring and evaluation although the teachers apprenticeship policy support still refer to the policy support at the school level; teacher apprenticeship activities less carefully planned; financing apprentice teachers are not budgeted separately by the Vocational High School. Monitoring and evaluation of teacher apprentice conducted by business and industrial world. Recommendation: teachers apprenticeship need the policy support determination from stakeholders, apprenticeship activities should be planned with a budget its self and Monitoring and apprenticeship Evaluation conducted jointly, both by vocational school and business and industrial world in order to improve the professionalism of teachers.

Abstract

Motivasi sebagai salah satu penunjang keberhasilan pelaksanaan tugas fungsional guru masih kurang. Tujuan penelitian adalah terdeskripsikannya 1) motivasi kerja guru, 2) kepuasan kerja, 3) iklim kerja dan teranalisisnya 4) kontribusi iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, 5) kontribusi iklim kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru,  6) kontribusi kepuasan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru, 7) kontribusi iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru di Sekolah Dasar BPK PENABUR Bandung. Metode penelitian berupa deskriptif verifikatif melalui survei terhadap guru di Sekolah Dasar BPK PENABUR Bandung sebanyak 104 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran iklim kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan motivasi kerja masih kurang. Iklim kerja memberikan kontribusi berarti terhadap kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja. Kepuasan kerja memberikan kontribusi berarti terhadap motivasi kerja. Iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja memberikan kontribusi berarti terhadap motivasi kerja. Implikasi praktis yaitu peningkatan motivasi kerja dengan meminimalkan sikap destruktif akibat belum adanya kepuasan kerja.Motivation as one of the factors that support the successful implementation of the functional tasks of teachers is still lacking. The research objective is to describe 1) work motivation of teachers, 2) the working climate of teachers, 3) job satisfaction and to analyze 4) the contribution of the working climate towards job satisfaction of teachers, 5) the contribution of working climate towards work motivation of teachers, 6) the contribution of job satisfaction towards teachers work motivation, 7) the contribution of the working climate through job satisfaction towards work motivation in BPK PENABUR primary schools in Bandung. The research method is descriptive verification through a survey of 104 teachers in BPK PENABUR primary schools in Bandung. The result shows that work climate, job satisfaction, and work motivation are lacking in quality. There is a significant contribution of work climate towards job satisfaction and work motivation. Job satisfaction has significantly contributed to work motivation and become a variable that strengthens the relation between work climate and work motivation. Work climate, job satisfaction, and work motivation is at a weak level. There is a significant contribution of work climate and job satisfaction towards work motivation. The practical implication is that work motivation should be increased through efforts of minimizing the destructive attitude due to the lack of job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kebutuhan ruang kelas sekolah dasar berdasarkan proyeksi pertumbuhan penduduk usia sekolah dan membandingkan dengan SPMP dan SNP. Penelitian dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cirebon, menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan perhitungan proyeksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder, melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, input data dan pengolahan data menggunakan metode proyeksi dengan mathematical equations approach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan penduduk usia sekolah menjadi faktor penentu  kebutuhan ruang kelas. RKB yang dibutuhkan pada tahun 2015/2016 sebanyak 199 unit, dan ruang kelas rehabilitasi sebanyak 50 unit. Penentuan estimasi biaya pembangunan satu unit RKB menggunakan harga satuan PU dan harga perkiraan sendiri (HPS) pemerintah kota Cirebon yang ditetapkan oleh peraturan dari dinas PU. Penentuan anggaran pembangunan RKB dan rehabilitasi  bersumber dari APBD dan APBN melalui bantuan DAK.This research aims to describe and analyze the needs of primary school classrooms based on the projected growth of the school age population and compares with SPMP and SNP. This research was conducted in Department of Education in Cirebon City, using descriptive qualitative research method with projection calculations. Data collection techniques using primary data and secondary data sources, through interviews, observation and documentation study. Data analizyng techniques using data collection, data input and data processing using the projection method with Mathematical Equations Approach. The results showed that the growth of the school age population became one of the determinants of classroom space requirements. RKB is needed in the year 2015/2016 as many as 199 units, and classroom rehabilitation of 50 units. The determination of the estimated cost of construction of one unit RKB using PU unit price and price estimate of its own (HPS) of Cirebon city government established by the regulations of the Department of Public Works. Determination of budget development RKB and rehabilitation sourced budget as government obligations of Cirebon city RKB from the APBD budget, and help budgeting of special allocation fund (DAK) from APBN budget.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan studi kasus di kedua sekolah, yaitu: SMAN 5 dan SMA Darul Hikam Kota Bandung. Teknik penggalian data dilakukan dengan pengamatan, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi sekolah. Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data , penyajian data  (display), dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan pengolahan data diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) proses kebijakan pada pemberdayaan guru di sekolah semua diarahkan untuk meningkatkan mutu hasil pembelajaran; 2) perencanaan strategi pemberdayaan guru lebih kepada merencanakan aspek peningkatan kemampuan guru, aspek kondisi organisasi dan mengkondisikan baik secara fisik maupun non fisik kondisi sekolah sehingga mendukung pengoptimalisasian kinerja guru; 3) pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan guru lebih kepada proses pemberian bimbingan, pimpinan, pengaturan, pengendalian dan pemberian fasilitas lainnya; 4) pengawasan pemberdayaan guru lebih kepada kualitas guru sesuai dengan kreteria tertentu dalam rangka memenuhi kepuasan pelanggan (peserta didik, orang tua, serta pihak-pihak berkepentingan lainnya); dan 5) dampak strategi pemberdayaan guru terletak pada kualitas kinerja guru baik mutu akademik, manajerial yang mempunyai komitmen tinggi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepala sekolah hendaknya memperhatikan relevansi kebutuhan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta kebutuhan sekolah, selama ini  mengelola proses pembelajaran guru relatif masih rendah.This is a descriptive study conducted by the case studies in both schools, namely: SMAN 5 and SMA Darul Hikam Bandung. Data are performed by observation, interview and documentation study school. Data processing is done through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation (display), and verification of data. Based on the data processing obtained the following results: 1) the policy process on empowering teachers in schools all geared to improving the quality of learning outcomes; 2) planning of teacher empowerment strategy is to plan the aspects of teacher capacity building, organizational conditions and conditioning aspects of both physical and non-physical condition of the schools that support optimizing the performance of teachers; 3) the implementation of teacher empowerment program more to the process of providing guidance, leadership, regulation, control and provision of other facilities; 4) supervision over the quality of teacher empowerment of teachers in accordance with certain criteria in order to meet customer satisfaction (students, parents, and other interested parties); and 5) the impact of teacher empowerment strategy lies in the quality of teacher performance both academic quality, managerial who have the commitment to improve the quality of education. Researchers recommend principals should consider the relevance of the needs of knowledge and skills and the needs of the school, as long as the teacher is managing the learning process is still relatively low.

Abstract

Implementasi rencana strategis merupakan tahap paling sulit karena merupakan proses berbagai strategi dan kebijakan berubah menjadi tindakan melalui pengembangan program, anggaran dan prosedur sehingga diperlukan sumber daya yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan transaksional yang diikuti dengan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang baik berpengaruh positif dan efektif terhadap implementasi rencana strategis. Kondisi tersebut dimungkinkan karena kepala sekolah transaksional mampu melaksanakan pengambilan keputusan dengan baik mengenai siapa yang akan melaksanakan, apa yang harus dilaksanakan dan bagaimana sumber daya manusia bertanggung jawab terhadap implementasi rencana strategis.Strategic plan implementation phase is the most difficult due process is different strategy and policy measures to be change through the development programs, budgets and procedures resources needed so good. The study results showed that transactional leadership followed by the ability of a good decision making positive influence and effective implementation of strategic plan. It’s possible because transaksional principalship able to do with good decision on who is going to implement, what should be done and how human resources responsible for implementation of strategic plan.

Abstract

Madrasah aliyah sudah tentu memiliki rencana kegiatan pengembangan madrasah. Rencana kegiatan tersebut dapat berjalan efektif apabila faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dapat dikelola dengan baik yaitu diantaranya pembuatan keputusan kepala madrasah dan partisipasi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh Pembuatan Keputusan Kepala Madrasah dan Partisipasi Guru terhadap Implementasi Rencana Kegiatan Madrasah (RKM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 MAS di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan keputusan kepala madrasah dan paritipasi guru baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh terhadap implementasi RKM.Madrasa Aliyah has a strategic plan for development of madrasa. The action plan can be effective if the factors that influence it can be managed properly such decision-making head of madrasa and teacher participations. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the influence wheter decision making head of madrasa and participations of teacher influence on implementation activity plan in madrasa (RKM). This study uses a quantitative approach using questionnaires. Population is the subject of this study amounted to 30 private madrasa aliyah scattered in the district of Bandung Barat. The results showed that decision-making head of madrasa and participation of teacher partially and simultaneously has an influence on the implementation of RKM.

Abstract

Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kondisi deskripsi kinerja mengajar guru, Kompensasi guru, Motivasi Kerja Guru dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, serta seberapa besar pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah secara langsung terhadap kinerja mengajar guru dan secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja mengajar guru melalui kompensasi guru dan motivasi kerja guru di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Ngamprah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan angket sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Sampel penelitian yaitu berjumlah 221 guru SD. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan bahwa kinerja mengajar guru, kompensasi guru, motivasi kerja guru, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berada pada kategori Tinggi. Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah memberikan pengaruh langsung terhadap Kinerja Mengajar Guru Sebesar 11,4 % dan secara tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Mengajar Guru sebesar 57,9 %. Pengaruh tidak langsung melalui kompensasi guru sebesar 34,3 % dan melalui motivasi kerja guru sebesar 23,6 %. Sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.Focus problems in this research are how the description conditions of the teaching performance of teachers, compensation teachers, motivation work of teachers and the headmaster’s leadership, and how big the directly influence of headmaster’s leadership against teaching performance of teachers and indirectly of the teaching performance of teachers through compensation teachers and motivation work of teachers in public primary schools sub district Ngamprah. Methods  that be used is the method descriptive with the quantitative approach with chief as a means of data collection. The sample namely were 221 teachers for Primary Public School. The results of the study described that teaching performance’s teachers, compensation’s teachers, motivation work’s teachers, and headmaster’s leadership be in the high categories. Headmaster’s Leadership providing direct influence on teaching performance’s teachers with 11.4 % and indirectly impact on teaching performance teachers of 57,9%. Indirect effect throught compensation teachers is 34,3 % and through motivation work of teachers is 23.6 % . While the rest influenced by other variables.
