Abstract

AbstractThe main problem discussed here is The Domestic Responsibility of Economic Development in Islam, focusing on economic growth analisis of fisherman community in Lhokseumawe. The objective of this discussion is to illustrate the whole things related to right and obligation of husband and wife in the household, particularly the fisherman’s family. This is a qualitative-explorative study. The primary source of data in this study was found from participant observation, questionnaires, and from interview, while the secondary data was collected through document analysis as well as library research which were related to economic growth issues of fisherman’s community. The analysis of data was done through interpretation of proposition which was based on the opinion of Islamic Law Expert (Fuqaha) or Islamic scholars. The result of research shows that Islam recommends that the position of man and women or husband and wife have the same right and obligation based on Islamic Shari’ah. According to Quranic values and Islamic point of view, the position of husband and wife are the same in term of right and obligation in surviving family and educating children, in associating with the community, and also the same right before the law. In case of family economic development, especially for lower scale family as it is experienced by the fisherman’s family in Lhokseumawe, the involvement of wife in working to survive the family is significantly influenced for increasing family income. The efforts of women or wifes to earn for living are very limited because most of the fisherman’s community think that the main responsibility or obligation of earning money to survive the family is burdened exclusively on husband as the head of family. It is necessary to inform and enlighten comprehensively that Islamic Shari’ah has recommended the same right and obligation between husband and wife forimproving welfare of their family.Keywords: Domestic Responsibility, fisherman’s family, economic development

Abstract

Abstrak.This article is an attempt to compare between the Syariah Economic Law and the of Majallat al-Ahkam al-Adliya on the concept of Musyarakah mutanaqishah. The analisis is based on the assumption that both have different concept. It is found that the concept of Musyarakah mutanaqishah which the former referred to is more detail and systematic than the latter. However, the Majallat al-Ahkam has become the most important part for the development of the Islamic Economic Law in the world today. Abstract

Abstract.The objective of the research with the title, ‘The Participation of Youth Groups in the Business Development of the Islamic Tourism in Banda Aceh,’ is 1) to find out the condition of the business Islamic tourism in Banda Aceh, 2) to analyze the participation of youth groups in the businessdevelopment of the Islamic tourism in Banda Aceh, and 3) to formulate the strategy and policy of the participation of youth groups in the development of the Islamic tourism in Banda Aceh.Primary data were gathered by conducting in-depth interview with key informants, using purposive sampling technique. Qualitative approach was used to answer the first and the second problem formula in matching the theory with the fact in the field. Two different methods were used to answer the two formula strategy and policy: SWOT analysis was used to formulate strategy, and content analysis was used to answer the formula of policy in which Qanun design (Regional Regulation), RIPPDA (Master Design of the Development of Regional Tourism), Banda Aceh in the period of 2012-2017 was analyzed.The conclusion of the research was 1) the business development of the Islamic tourism in Banda Aceh over the last five years is increasing and developing, 2) participation of youth groups in the businessdevelopment of the Islamic tourism in Banda Aceh that were examined in the stage of planning, implementation, utilization, and evaluation is generally in the form of idea and energy, but participation in the form of providing goods and money is not found, and 3) government strategy in increasing the participation of youth groups in the development of the Islamic tourism in Banda Aceh is top-down by establishing groups of people and youth to promote and perform tourism counseling and formulating RIPPDA of Banda Aceh.Keywords: Participation of Youth Group, Development of the Islamic Tourism, Banda Aceh

Abstract

Abstrak.This article analysed the implementation model of the Coorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang by qualitative approach. After conducting field survey and interview with company staff in charge, public figure, and governmental officer in change, it was found that the company that involved in Palm Oil Tree Plantation, and the Crude Palm Oil Industries (CPO), they only implement the CSR in the form of philantrophic program as a response to the need for establishing good relationship with the local people. On the PT. Pertamina which involved in oil and gas exploration that had designed and developed a well plan CSR program. It provided support for community economic empowerment, environmental rehabilation, and infrustruture development. In term of the implication on the maqashid syariah for the protection of religion, life, mind, family or progeny and the propertis is still lower than the expection. The local community felt indifferent and dissatisfied with regard to benefit they recieved from the company, comparing to the surplus return that company gained out of natural exploitation. The welfare of the local people and future generation and the distruction of nature, that would affect the life and health of the people, all these had not well addressed by the CSR program of those companies. Abstract

Abstrak.Methodology, the study of science philosophy is generally included in the study of epistemology discussing the nature, sources, concepts and theories of science. Therefore, it follows the development of epistemology study and philosophy of science, although both of them are different in terms of their focus and scope of assessment. Epistemology discusses the theory of science, nature and its limitations, but the methodology is more arguing about the specific studies to examine how a theory born and its evaluation. As a new discipline, methodology study is very essential to build the scientific foundations of Islamic Economics producing its own theories. Solid methodology eases to raise the scientific structures of Islamic economics from the source of its discipline, utilizing its own scientific foundation. This paper examines the link between Islamic epistemology and the methodology of Islamic economics, the nature and the definition of the methodology itself and its significance in constructing the technical of Islamic economics.Keywords: epistemology, methodology, discipline, significance, Islamic economics

Abstract

Abstrak.This reserch tried to explore the image of the Baitul Mal among the vendors in Kota Langsa. The discussion would focuse on revealing and intepreting the thought of the vendors who were the Muzakki of the Baitul Mal and the non Muzakki of the Baitul Mal on the image of the Baitul Mal Kota Langsa. The approach was qualitive and Schultz’s method ofphenomenologies analysis which provided a wider space for the phenomenon to tell about it self, that specifically analyse the ‘because of motives’ and‘order to motives’. It was found the positive image of Baitul Mal Kota Langsa among the Muzakki Kota Langsa who percieved that the former had peformed well. The Baitul Mall had successfully carried out socialization program and it was well recieved by the muzakki (pedagang swalayan). It had provided the service which has been accessable for the Muzakki to pay their zakkah effectively. It also provied annual report on the addmittance and distribution of zakkah for the Muzakki to be updated. It was part of the transparancy program. Finally, the Amil (distributors), at present has been well recieved and trusted by the muzakki (Pedagang swalayan) in Kota Langsa as the coordinator and distributor of their Zakat.Kata Kunci : Citra Baitul Mal, Pedagang, Baitul Mal Kota Langsa

Abstract

Abstract.Company social caring issue has become an important record in Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR). In Islam, the issue of social welfare and CSR environment is a very serious attention because it is one of the way to attain the goal of Islamic economy which are economic welfare, justice, equitable income distribution and individual freedom in terms of social welfare. In the implementation of CSR, maslahah and maqasid al- Shari’ah is one of the basic for falah fiddunya wal akhirat. This study will examine CSR in the theory of Islamic economy. ICSR required al-dharuriyat as the priority in this study, then al-hajjiyah and al-tahsiniyah. ICSR can be divided into three concept: spirituality concept, Rahmatan Lil’Alamin, and Ukhuwah Islamiyah. Key Words: ICSR, Islam, Social, Islamic Economy

Abstract

Abstract. Forex is the most liquid market and the biggest one in the world operating for 24 hours, moving from one zone to another one within variety of world financial centers. The velocity of money in the Forex market reached about 3.8 trillion USD per day. In general, many Muslims society in the world and in Indonesia in particular, engage in online Foreign Exchange trading, although most of them do not realize at all about the validity of buying and selling practice based on Sharia perspective. This paper attempts to analyze the practice of trading or selling foreign currency online to guarantee the profits generated from this practice in accordance with Sharia. This is due to trade or exchange must be conducted carefully to avoid the chances of riba al-Buyu’ which is forbidden by Sharia based on the hadith of the Prophet S.A.W related to 6 items of riba transactions.
