This research was conducted on industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Data consists ofpanel data from 2018-2022 totaling 272 samples after screening for outliers and normality. Structural equation modeling is employed to test the recursive model. This research proves that there is a positive influence of industry volatility on working capital aggressiveness.Company size influences working capital behaviornegatively, andsales growth has no influence on it. Furthermore, working capital behavior influences liquidiy risk positively and negatively on financial risk, but has no influence on operational risk. This research proves that simultaneously liquidity risk has a positive effect and financial risk has a negative effect on profitability.Operational risk has no effect on profitability.

Abstract

This research tries to test the influence of enterprise risk management, intellectual capital, and sustainability reports on firm value, with a moderating effect on profitability. Data from 16 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX has been taken from 2021 to 2022 and analysed using a panel data regression approach and model robustness testing using the robust least squares analysis method. The research results show the positive effect of enterprise risk management and intellectual capital on firm value, as well as the negative effect of sustainability reports on firm value. The moderation results show that the interaction of profitability weakens the positive effect of enterprise risk management and intellectual capital on firm value. The results also reveal that profitability strengthens the negative influence of sustainability reports on firm value. This paper discusses the implications of this research for existing literature, practitioners, and policymakers.

Abstract

Cigarette products certainly have a negative impact on health, especially for teenagers. Although there is a growing body of literature on the positive social influence of peers as a preventative measure, it is unclear how they react when convinced of the truth of its negative impact on health. This experimental study aims to examine the impact of negative health consequences on adolescents' emotions and behavior. Through an online invitation and randomization process, 78 high school students from South Sumatra Province, Indonesia were eligible to participate in the online experimental study. We compared two groups (experimental vs. control) to examine the impact of negative health consequences on their emotions (empathy) and behavior (prosocial behavior). Our findings show that, as compared to adolescents in the non-convincing health message condition (n=40), adolescents in the convincing negative health message condition (n=38) had higher empathy (sign=0.005) and prosocial behavior (sign=0.028) to assist their smoking peers. Our findings provide a valuable information to sustainability development in the future through reducing underage smokers. We suggest that the use of convincing method to develop a school-based social marketing program for handling adolescent smoking problem
