Abstract

In terms of human resource development, education has a strategic value and an important role as people investment in the future. Theoretically, education is the basis of economic growth, the basis of the development of science and technology, eradicating the poverty and income gap, and improving the welfare and quality of civilization in general. This general strategic value of education, concludes that education holds tremendous power to create an overall environmental aspect and can provide the most valuable information about future grips and help students to prepare essential living needs to anticipate the changes.

Abstract

Ideally the purpose of every educational activity, both formal and non formal is formulated first, particularly in the national level. As a Muslim majority country, Indonesia formally decide its national educational goals that leads to the establishment of faithful, pious, and noble people. Among the ways that every Muslim can utilize to strengthen the goals of national education is through referring to Asmaul-Husna as the basis for the formation of faith, piety, and noble character in everyday life. Therefore, this study discusses about how a Muslim implemented his national educational goals with Asmaul-Husna.

Abstract

This research studied on purification and modernization of Muhammadiyah in the Ranting Ulujami, South Jakarta. This research is conducted through qualitative method combining three data collection techniques; review on documents (books and journal articles), interview, and observation. This research reveals that purification and modernization as the main character of Muhammadiyah, are performed by its branch in the Ranting Ulujami. Regarding the purification of aspect of worship (mahdhoh), the Muhammadiyah leaders in the Ranting emphasize the need to strongly hold the hadith shohih and reject the hadith dhoif. Innovation in worship, for these leaders, is bid’ah. However, the implementation of the purification has been negotiated with the local religious tradition that has been long established in Ulujami. Tahlilan, a religious ceremony during the death of family, is an example. The Muhammadiyah in Ulujami negotiate it by producing new kind of tahlilan, or constructing new meaning of the tahlilan to prevent them from “cultural or religious clash” within the society. Meanwhile the modernization of social aspect is perceived by the leaders of Muhammadiyah in Ranting Ulujami as social piety. For them, a Muslim can be categorized as modern when he/she is not only concerned on their individual piety such as praying and reading the Qur’an, but also enthusiastic in implementing Islamic values related to public good.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competence of teachers in developing the implementation plan of learning (RPP) on Curriculum 2013 through “Accompaniment of sustained”. The research is conducted for 4 months from Juli to October 2017. The result showed that with the Accompaniment of sustained, the competence of teachers in developing the RPP Curriculum 2013 revision 2017 has increased from the initial conditions to cycle I and cycle II. The activeness of teacher MAN 3 increased from 75% to 92%; teachers of MA Al Mudatsiriyah increased from 63% to 83%, and teachers of Central Jakarta MA increased from 54% to 79%. This progress has an impact on teacher competence in developing the 2017 revised RPP Curriculum 2013 which has improved from initial condition to cycle I and cycle II. Significant improvement can be seen from 68% in the first cycle, increased to 81% in the second cycle.

Abstract

Learning ISMUBA (al-Islam, KeMuhammadiyahan and Arabic) is the key feature of all Muhammadiyah schools. SD Muhammadiyah 5 in Limau South Jakarta is one of the Muhammadiyah elementary school that implemented this learning ISMUBA. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative with qualitative interpretation. This research is conducted in SD Muhammadiyah 5 Jakarta Selatan between September to November 2017. This research population is all class IV students in SD Muhammadiyah 5 South Jakarta. The sample used in this research is saturated population that is all student of Class IV. The collected data includes primary data. Primary data is obtained from the students answer sheet on the subjects of al-Islam, KeMuhammadiyahan and Arabic. Analysis of question items is using IRT (Item Response Theory) through the use of software to see the level of difficulty, distinguishing power. The results obtained from the ITEMAN application will be interpreted in accordance with the provisions of different problem power and problem level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the ability of understanding concept among students in Mathematics Education Study Program to the course of keMuhammadiyahan. The indicators used in this study is to re-state a concept, to clarify the object according to certain traits in accordance with the concept, give examples and non examples, express the concept in various forms of representation. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative, where the researcher tries to describe the exposure analysis of the ability of concept comprehension based on the ability of understanding concept Mathematics’ students. Based on the results obtained; one student has a good understanding of the concept in the re-state of a concept, one student has a good understanding of the concept in the example and non-example and one student has the ability to comprehend good concept in indicator express the concept in various forms of representation to the course kemuhammadiyahan.
