Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of sharia competencies, Islamic compensation and Islamic Spiritual Intelligence of personal work performance at Bank Muamalat Branch Ternate. The data obtained in the research is primary data taken from questionnare were distributed to employees at Bank Muamalat Branch Ternate. Data analysis technique in this research using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 16.0.The result of this research shows from all of three variables, Islamic spiritual intelligence is the only one that have significant effect on personal work performance of Bank Muamalat Branch Ternate

Abstract

Shariah Bank have the potency to become the first option for customers to run their transactional banking option. It was showed by the acceleration development and growth of Shariah Banking in Indonesia. Along with the growth of Shariah Banking, a real competition among the Syariah Bank doers is unavoidable. Therefore a bank has to do efforts to be the main player on its segment, and able to provide major resources for its customers and eventually it binds satisfaction and loyalty. In such thigh competition, information plays an important role to attract customers or society to make use of the provided by the bank. The information of any form delivered by every stakeholder related to banking business. Therefore the market share can be gained by promoting Syariah Banks to those floating customer though an attractive and appropriate way. By doing such promotion with persistent and sustain, the possibility of the 5 % of market share which targeted by BI could be reached.

Abstract

The one form of worship to be able closer to Allah SWT which is related to the property called a Waqf. Wakaf Istimari also called productive waqf, which is endowment wakaf used for investment, either in agriculture, industry, commerce, and services. This wakaf issue also developed in the village of Longkeyang, where the youth of Muhammadiyah Lokeyang tried to do wakaf for the welfare of the people. In the 2006, approximately 10 people from Muhammadiyah youth in Longkeyang together with activists of AMM (Muhammadiyah Youth Force) began a pioneer of the new institution (in 2010) which was named the Muhammadiyah Development Workers’ Development Agency (BP2RM). Some of the programs that have been generated from the management of productive endowments are waqfs of shrouds and scholarship for Muhammadiyah cadres.

Abstract

The nature of zakat, infaq and shadaqah is basically the doctrine of mankind (spiritual and moral) which is expected to meet the needs of the muslims and as one of the state revenue. However, infaq and shadaqoh coverage is wider because it includes all good deeds. Zakat, infaq and shadaqah (ZIS) collection techniques at Baznas Bogor city by carrying programs on collection are arranged into five main activities namely: Communicating the activities of Baznas intensively, recruiting new muzakki, echoing ZIS Ramadan, maintaining existing muzakki, and strengthening the structure of UPZ mosque network (FORSIL) and Gebu Cinta. The concept or distribution allocated for students scholarship or based on students achievement but not economically capable, assistance to teachers of Quran, capital assistance for traders either with mudharabah system or over the name of mustahiq. Health assistance and development of da’wah in the ciy of Bogor.

Abstract

The discourse of the presence of Maqasid Index as an alternative approach to measure the performance of Islamic banking become broadly and extensively discussed among Islamic scholars. It is because the Islamic banking has different concept than the conventional bank both in theory and practice, thus the Islamic banks should have they own benchmark to measure their performance. Therefore, Maqasid Index which more directed at the aims and objectives of sharia, become proper benchmark to measure the performance of Islamic banking. This research would like to measure and to compare the performance of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia and Malaysia using Maqasid Index approach with SAW (Simple Additive the Weighting) method. The context of this research is Islamic banking industry in Indonesia and Malaysia which represented by Bank Syariah Mandiri from Indonesia and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad from Malaysia. This research also will use secondary data from year 2013-2014. The result found that from the first and third objective (Education/ Tadlihb al-Fardh), Islamic bank in Malaysia which represented by BIMB depicted better performance which reached 38.37% while BSM depicted only 5.48%. For the second objective (Justice/ Al-Adl), BSM showed better performance which reached 17.33%. For the third objective (Welfare/ Maslahah), BIMB lead upon BSM which reached 103.25% and 78.89% accordingly. From the calculation of Maqasid Index rank, BIMB take the first place which reached 13.79%. Whilst, BSM take the second place of this Maqasid Index rank which reached 11.14%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance at the Pondok Pesantren Al-Fattah, Sidoarjo. The method used to determine the informant is purposive sampling. In this qualitative research data collection using interviews, documentation and observation. From these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance in Pondok Pesantren As-Shafi'ites good enough. This is evidenced by the development of cottage pesntren which is constantly increasing. Suggestions for boarding is better optimize the principle of independency for the success of future schools.
