Abstract

Catfish is a kind of fish that many found in Tempe lake of Wajo district, it contains a lot ofprotein, so it helps in the growth process of children’s brains, besides catfish extract can functionas healing after surgery. Based on discussions with 2 partners, we can conclude some problemsfaced and the soon to be overcome so that the product can compete with other products, problemscan be described as follows: (1) the use of fish flesh processing tool (shredded fish) so that productquality is better and durable, (2) the problem of product diversification from catfish raw material,(3) training on a simple on-line marketing (creating a Blog) and the manufacture of goodpackaging, (4) the problem of management that is the increasing of ability to manage business andimprovement of accounting and financial administration. Target and outcome expected are: (1) themaking of shredded fish, fish gell more hygiene, tasty and durable, (2) introduce and providespinner, fish mixer that serve to help separate oil from fish flesh so shredded and fish gell be tasty,crunchy and durable without preservatives (3) the products can be brand market in Wajo districtand able to compete in AFTA era, (4) cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship to all members, (5)introduce a new product that had not yet made by 2 (two) partners such as catfish otak-otak andcatfish gellfish, (6) the transfer of technology in oil separating process of fish flesh and fish fleshmixing with ingredient so that the efficiency and effectiveness of product, (7) increased knowledgeabout good marketing management so intertwined cooperation with retail or merchant, and (8)online marketing through blog “UD RATU SENGKANG SULSEL” as an online marketingmedium. To achieve all targets and outcomes, the team conducted a variety of activities, includessocialization ibM activites, gives latest technology, provides training on making shredded fish,kaki naga and fish nuggets, develop entrepreneurship, and provide guidance on production andmarketing management.

Abstract

Veteran farmer groups and is a Veteran Youth vegetable farmer groups residing in the VillagePattapang, District High Muzzle, Gowa, South Sulawesi. Vegetables grown are cabbage, carrots,potatoes, onion leaves, cabbage, tomatoes, and squash. Land is located on land owned by farmerswith a fairly steep slope so prone to erosion. Cultivation of vegetables is done conventionally byutilizing manure and inorganic fertilizer. Soil cultivation is done in the direction of the slope. Wasbased on the observance of watering, weed control, disease and pest control, but there has not beenoptimal production. Some of the problems encountered in the cultivation of vegetables is themagnitude and does not utilize organic materials in situ, where the organic material produced isburned. Implementation activities undertaken by the team Ipteks form of counseling, training,demonstration plots, and outreach. Materials science and technology as the solution of theseproblems is the processing of organic materials into bokhasi, conservation tillage, and cultivationof vegetables, especially potatoes technology. This activity received a positive response frommembers of farmer groups, due to significantly improve productivity and lower production costs.This becomes a strong motivation for participants to apply the knowledge and technology insustainability efforts.

Abstract

Squid attractor in the watershas a role as an artificial reef, as a squid collector, and as a squidhabitat to lay their eggs. It is therefore, the settlement of the squid attractor in a waters region willcreate a unique underwater view, which are a layer of squid eggs bed. Additonally, the squidattractor can also to be a nursery habitat and at the endit can be developed to be a potencial fishingground.The problems are facing by partner groups (group Nelayan Mandiri and group NelayanSejahtera Bersama) are: 1) problems in production and 2) problems in business management. Forproducion problems they result in low production and influence the selling price linearly.Whereas, the poor business management will hamperthe production system and will reduce theprofit of fishermen group.The purpose of the program of the IbM kelompok nelayan cumi-cumi diKota Makassaris to provide counseling and demo to the partner groups in order to improve theirproductionand to increase their welfare. The approach methods applied in solving the agreedpriority problems of the partners duringthe realization of the program IbM program is to implemendemonstration system as well as counseling method. There are two selected partner groups,namelyNelayan MandiriGroup and Nelayan Sejahtera BersamaGroup.The group selection wasbased on purposive sampling by the facts that both groups have potential good product and market.From the 5 trips trial on the squid attractor, it was found the total catch of squid was in the range of10,8 – 11,2 kg on average.

Abstract

Reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2013 stated that the global prevalence ofASD latest median is 62/10 000 or 160 children one of whom had Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD). The high prevalence of ASD encourages governments and communities establisheducational institutions such as extraordinary school (SLB), to help ASD children can grow anddevelop like other communities. The problem often faced by partners (SLB Laniang, SLB AutisBunda and SLB Pembina Provinsi Sulsel Kota Makassar) is uncertain about how to takemeasurements and mapping ASD child, then the program agreed with the partner, there are two(2) main aspects, namely: (1) identifies and measures the severity of ASD children interferenceand (2) Mapping addresses and locations disorder ASD child home. The results indicate that thereis an increased activity of knowledge of teachers / lecturers to the identification and measurementof children with ASD to use it Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS), which has been speciallydesigned using Exel, so that teachers / lecturers can quickly determining the severity of thedisorder ASD children. This activity also has meningkatkatkan bagamana knowledge on how todo the mapping ASD children, especially in Laniang SLB, SLB Autism Mother and SLB Pembinaprovince of Makassar

Abstract

The teacher is the person who interacts most and communicates with the students. Therefore, thefirst accused party when there is a case that affects the student is the teacher. The teacher, besidesas a teacher and educator, must also act as a parent as well as a friend to his students. So as ateacher they also need legal protection in performing professional duties. However, in thisteaching-learning process students as learners must also understand how adab in science.Community service activities are conducted by participatory action method in the form of lecturesand discussions. Based on preliminary evaluation and final evaluation, the results are significantlyimproved so that it can be said that counseling is one of the most effective ways to provide anunderstanding of the legal protection of teachers and students as learners. The legal protection ofteachers among others is legal protection, professional protection and safety protection. Adabstudents in studying among them is a sincere, civilized intentions to people who give knowledge,be patient in studying, write every that is learned, low self-esteem, avoid excessive, adequatesleep, and reduce the word that is not useful.

Abstract

Community service activities such as extention, demonstration plots, training and mentoringrelated to the utilization of cocoa pods as compost had been implemented in the Lamuru District,Bone Regency. This activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of farmers related to theutilization of cocoa pods and in situ materials through appropriate technology for composting.Based on the results of training and mentoring that has been done, it can be seen that the farmershad been able to produce compost independently. In situ Materials used by farmers consists ofcocoa pod, straw, prunings cocoa and shade trees and manure.
