Learning results are the results that achieved by someone after learning activities and the assessment achieved by someone to determine the extent to which the materials or material taught has accepted the students. However, based on experience researchers for teaching in SMK Satya Widya Surabaya, students mathematic learning result who taught by the method konventional such as the method is quite low. So that's why, it is necessary learning alternative model can enhance learning result. One of alternative that can be used is IMPROVE learning model based it will be used IMPROVE learning model in a class action research, the results of research that by using the IMPROVE learning model can increase the understanding of the concept of student so that the student results also increase. Overall after the application of a class action cycle 1 to cycle 2 with learning model improv on material SPLDV can increase the understanding of the concept of so that the student learning result in grade X aph 4 SMK "pariwisata" Satya widya Surabaya also increase. Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika Menggunakan Metode Tutor Sebaya Siswa Kelas VII Pada Materi Bentuk Aljabar

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes of class VII G SMPN 48 Surabaya by applying the Tutor Sebaya method of learning. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of the study were Class VII G SMPN 48 Surabaya, amounting to 38 students. The indicator of success in this study is determined by 70% of students complete learning. This research was conducted in two cycles with four stages of implementation, namely action planning, action implementation, observation or evaluation, and reflection. Data collection techniques of this study are tests, observations and documents. The results of this study indicate that the application of peer tutoring method on the subject of Algebra Shape can improve student learning outcomes of class VII G SMPN 48 Surabaya. This is shown in the improvement of the learning outcomes of each cycle that is on the pre-cycle result percentage of completeness of 23.68% has not reached the criteria of success, as well as in the first cycle of the completion percentage of 36.84% has not reached the criteria of success, as well as on the second cycle of the completion percentage of 71.05% has reached the expected success criteria. The result of study of student of class VII B in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya on the subject of wake up flat in academic year 2017/2018 after analyzed have low result, this is allegedly because approach of learning at that time not yet right, hence in this class research used approach of learning Contex Teaching and Learning (CTL), which emphasizes the concept of learning that helps teachers connect between the material they teach and the students' real-world situations and encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and application in daily life. The problem to be discussed is whether the learning of mathematics with CTL approach on the subject of wake up flat can improve student learning outcomes of class VII B in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya? While the purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of student learning outcomes on the subject of flat wake with CTL approach. The location of the research was conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya, Medokan Semampir Sub-district, East Java. The subjects of this research are the students of class VII B MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya, teacher of grade VII B SD and observer. The study is divided into 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. While the indicator of the success of this class action research is achieved if the students have a grade average of at least 75 and mastery learning classes above 75%. In the first cycle students achieve a grade point average of at least 69.87, while the learning mastery is 47.37%. Cycle II reaches the average grade value of 78.16 and the learning completeness is 60.53%. Based on the results of student learning above can be concluded that learning with CTL approach can improve student learning outcomes of class VII B in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Suarabaya on the subject of algebra, so it is recommended that in teaching on the subject of algebra teachers using CTL approach Keywords: Contex Teaching and Learning (CTL), learning outcomes, operation of algebraic forms

The purpose of this research is to 1) Knowing whether or not the influence of mastery of the concept of flat wake up to the ability to solve the problems of building the flat side space of students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang, 2) Knowing there or not the influence of mastering the concept of algebra on the ability to solve the problems of building flatspace on the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang, 3) Knowing whether or not the influence of mastery of the concept of wake-up and algebraic concept of the ability to solve the problem of building the flat- side room of the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang. This is acomparative causal study. Members of the population of 218 students. Technique of sampling technique of random sampling. Samples were taken about 13% of the total population of 42 students. Technique of collecting data using test method and method of documentation. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis together obtained Fhitung of 78.929> Ftabel=3.24 and Asymp probability value. Sig0,0000<a(0.05). This means there is asignificant influence between the mastery of the concept of wake-up and algebraic concept of the ability to solve the problem of building flat side space with the coefficient of determination of . Partially, the mastery of the concept of wake up to the ability to solve the problem of building the flat side space is shown by the result ofttes to btained thitung=11,029>ttable =2.02 and Asymp probability value. Sig is 0,0000 <a(0,05) with coefficient of determination . Mastery of algebraic concept on the ability to solve the problem of building flat side space is shown by ttest result obtained tcount= 8,793>ttable=2.02 and Asymp Sig value of 0,0000<a(0,05) with coefficient of determination.
