Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve intensive reading skills through Preview, Question, Read, Summary, and Test(PQRST) learning strategies for the fourth grade students of elementary school (SDN 45) Bungo Pasang Padang. The design of this study was classroom action research carried out in two cycles, which cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects of this study were teachers and students of the fourth grade of SD Negeri 45 Bungo Pasang. The data were collected quantitatively and qualitatively obtained by testing, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study show that: (1) The use of PQRST strategies increase the activeness of the fourth grade students of SDN 45 Bungo Pasang. (2) The use of PQRST strategies shows the increase in students' intensive reading skills which the result of the pre-action test shows only 15 out of 25 have achieved completeness or only 60% of students completed, an increase to 80% in cycle I or as many as 20 of 25 students completed, and increased to 90% in cycle 2 or 24 of 25 students completed . Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif melalui strategi pembelajaran PQRST pada siswa IV SD Negeri 45 Bungo Pasang Padang. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas perencaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 45 Bungo Pasang. Jenis data berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang diperoleh dengan teknik tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Penggunaan strategi PQRST dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas IV SDN 45 Bungo Pasang. (2) Penggunaan strategi PQRST juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan membaca intensif siswa. Dimana tes pratindakan menunjukkan hanya 15 dari 25 saja yang mencapai ketuntasan atau hanya sebesar 60 % siswa tuntas, terjadi peningkatan menjadi 80% pada siklus I atau sebanyak 20 dari 25 siswa tuntas, dan meningkat menjadi 90% pada siklus 2 atau 24 dari 25 siswa tuntas. Abstract

The objective of this study is to discover the effectiveness of: (1) Android-based mathematics instructional media in learning multiplication, (2) image-based mathematics instructional media in learning multiplication and (3) learning multiplication without any media. This study is an experimental one that uses Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. In the experiment, observations on three learning groups were conducted. The first experimental group was given a treatment in the form of Android-based mathematics instructional media, the second experimental group received an image-based mathematics instructional media, and the control group did not use any media. The research population was all 2th-grade students in South Tangerang Rempoa 4 Elementary School and with the sample of IIA, IIB, and IIC class students. The research instrument was a test of fractions that had been tested with Alpha 0.826. The data analysis technique used was Anova and then followed by Scheffe test. The results of the study show that: (1) there is a significant effectiveness difference between mathematics learning that is Android-based, image-based, and the one that uses no media in learning fractions among the 5th-grade students of South Tangerang Rempoa 4 Elementary School, (Fh = 6,121 > Ft (0,05) = 3,10); (2) there is a significant difference between the effectiveness of Android-based and image-based mathematics instructional media in learning multiplication, (sig. (p) = 0,023 < 0,05); (3) there is a significant difference between the effectiveness of learning multiplication by using Android-based mathematics instructional media and not using any media (sig. (p) = 0,005 < 0,05); and (4) there is no significant difference between the effectiveness of learning multiplication by using image-based media and not using any media, (sig. (p) = 0,811 > 0,05). These show that Android-based mathematics instructional media is better than the image-based one, learning with image-based media is not any better than learning without media, and the Android-based mathematics instructional media is the most effective tool compared to that of image-based media and using no media. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keefektifan: (1) game edukasi berbasis android, (2) media gambar, dan (3) tanpa media dalam pembelajaran matematika materi perkalian. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimental dengan desain Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Dalam proses eksperimen dilakukan pengamatan pada tiga kelompok pembelajaran yaitu kelompok eksperimen satu yang diberi treatment dengan game edukasi berbasis Android, kelompok eksperimen dua dengan media gambar, dan kelompok kontrol dengan tanpa media. Populasi penelitian adalah semua peserta didik kelas II SDN Rempoa 4 Tangerang Selatan dengan sampel peserta didik kelas II A, II B, dan II C. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes soal perkalian yang telah di uji coba dengan Alpha 0,826. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Anava yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan yang signifikan keefektifan di antara pembelajaran matematika menggunakan game edukasi berbasis Android, media gambar, dan tanpa media dalam Pembelajaran perkalian kelas II SDN Rempoa 4 Tangerang Selatan, (Fh = 6,121 > Ft (0,05) = 3,10); (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan keefektifan game edukasi berbasis Android dan media gambar dalam pembelajaran perkalian, (sig. (p) = 0,023 < 0,05); (3) ada perbedaan yang signifikan keefektifan game edukasi berbasis Android dan tanpa media dalam pembelajaran perkalian, (sig. (p) = 0,005 < 0,05); dan (4) tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan keefektifan media gambar dan tanpa media dalam pembelajaran perkalian, (sig. (p) = 0,811 > 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi berbasis Android lebih baik dari pada media gambar, media gambar tidak lebih baik dari pada tanpa media, dan game edukasi berbasis Android paling efektif diantara media gambar dan tanpa media. Abstract

These studies raised concerns about the creativity of teachers in the application of the method of learning the Qur'an the Hadith in MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh. The purpose of this research is to know the sejauhmana creativity of teachers in the application of the method of learning the Qur'an the Hadith and what methods are applied to teachers in learning the Qur'an the Hadith in MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. As for who becomes the object of the research is the 19 class. The instrument used in this research is the observation, interview, question form and documentation. Based on the results of the study indicate that the real teacher is the qur'an the Hadith in MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh in the process of teaching and learning the Quran Hadith, formulating learning objectives, choose books that are weighted higher, also using the method of teaching that stimulates the intellect of students, besides teachers use a variety of methods in learning the Quran Hadith. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah tentang kreativitas guru dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran Al-Qur’an hadits di MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana kreativitas guru dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran Al-Qur’an hadits dan metode apa saja yang diterapkan guru dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits di MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah 19 kelas. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa guru al-qur’an hadits di MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh dalam proses belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an Hadits, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, memilih buku-buku yang berbobot tinggi, juga menggunakan metode mengajar yang merangsang daya pikir siswa, selain itu guru menggunakan berbagai metode dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits. Abstract

Poor writing skills due to gurus give less chance of student writing. Writing assignments are usually repeated copying of notes on the Board. As a result the student's writing skills are not developed and mastered the techniques, content, and language. Lack of interest and motivation of students learning, particularly writing skills become a trigger for the low ability of writing. Formulation of the problem in this study i.e. whether there is a difference in the results of learning using media images and video animations in matter bouquet description class III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. The purpose of the research study results knowing the difference using media images and video animations in matter bouquet description class III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. The hypothesis of this research is the result of difference learning using media images and video animations in matter bouquet description class III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. This type of research experiments. The sample in this study is the whole grade III in SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh as many as 60 students were grouped into class experiment (class IIIA) and controls (class IIIB). As for the experiment class of as many as 30 people and as many as 30 people control class. The results showed thitung = 4.82 from price ttabel = 1.67 This means t is the rejection of H0, so Ha received on significant degrees of α = 0.05, then there is a difference can be summed up the results of learning using media images and video animations material description essay class III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. It is recommended to teachers to be able to equip themselves with the knowledge of the appropriate learning media. Abstrak Rendahnya kemampuan menulis disebabkan guru kurang memberi kesempatan siswa menulis. Tugas menulis biasanya menyalin ulang catatan di papan tulis. Akibatnya kemampuan menulis siswa tidak berkembang dan kurang menguasai teknik, isi, maupun bahasa. Kurangnya minat dan motivasi siswa mengikuti pembelajaran, khususnya keterampilan menulis menjadi pemicu rendahnya kemampuan menulis. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan media gambar dan video animasi pada materi karangan deskripsi kelas III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan media gambar dan video animasi pada materi karangan deskripsi kelas III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan media gambar dan video animasi pada materi karangan deskripsi kelas III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III di SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh sebanyak 60 siswa yang dikelompokkan kedalam kelas eksperimen (kelas IIIA) dan kontrol (kelas IIIB). Adapun kelas eksperimen sebanyak 30 orang dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan thitung = 4,82 dari harga ttabel = 1,67 ini berarti t berada di daerah penolakan H0, sehingga Ha diterima pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan media gambar dan video animasi pada materi karangan deskripsi kelas III SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh. Disarankan kepada guru untuk dapat membekali diri dengan pengetahuan tentang media pembelajaran yang sesuai. Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar, media gambar, video animasi, karangan deskripsi
