Abstract

Text "The Syro-phoenician woman who believes" in Mark 7:24-30 in a postcolonial study approach is a passion to combating colonialism, neo-colonialism, dictatorism, social separation of societies, religion and racial (SARA) and social injustice. This matter done to realize readers of the Bible as they are in a situation of being colonized, because attempting to negotiate toward liberation and equality. In the postcolonial context, Jesus encounter with the Greek women of the Syro-Phoenician was a symbolic and imaginative meeting of two peoples (nations), Jews and Greeks, cultural dialectics, traditions and believed. For the Jews who were narrated as having a dominant culture, labeled the Syro-phoenician woman as inferior and weak, proper to be helped and pitied, therefore worthy of being called a dog. As a "dog" this woman received a new identity from the superior. The resistance and rejection of the Syro-phoenician woman on the new identity of the postcolonial received issued intense communication and relationships. At first it was seen as liyan and the other, but now the stereotype is melting and developing into sisters and brothers. The dialectic between them are brings peacefulness: alignment and equality.

Abstract

Here the writer conducted a study of the professional work ethic of Christian Education teachers. This study starts from the anxiety of the writer towards the conditions of the teacher's work ethic, who in actually the teachers have now lost their direction in carrying out their duties. In East Indonesia Region many teachers do not fulfill the undergraduate education qualifications. With this problem, the writer examine the professional work ethic from empirical experience. Based on investigations conducted by the writer in this article, then there are two important things that need to be learned, namely first, teachers who have standards or qualifications in teaching. Second, the availability of facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of teaching and learning processes. Therefore, the search for the work ethic of the Christian Education teacher is related to the activities of the teacher in carrying out the task. Penulis melakukan kajian terhadap etos kerja professional guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Kajian ini berangkat dari kegelisahan penulis terhadap kondisi etos kerja guru, di mana para guru sekarang ini telah hilang arah dalam melaksanakan tugas. Daerah Indonesia Timur banyak guru tidak memenuhi kualifikasi pendidikan strata satu. Dengan persoalan itu maka, penulis mengupas tentang etos kerja profesional dari pengalaman empiris. Berdasarkan penyelidikan yang dilakukan oleh penulis dalam artikel ini, maka ada dua hal penting yang perlu dipelajari, yakni pertama, guru yang memeliki standar atau kualifikasi dalam mengajar. Kedua, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung terlaksanya proses belaajr mengajar. Karena itu,penelusuran tentang etos kerja guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen berkaitan dengan aktivitas guru dalam melaksanakan tugas.

Abstract

This article is an attempt to include Christian religious education as religious education that is antipative to radicalism in religion in Indonesia. Indonesia is a diverse country in religion, in this case, there are religious names that are recognized in the Indonesian nation. The six religions are Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Religious radicalism is an act of a person or group of people that is contrary to humanitarian principles on the basis of religious beliefs. With a tendency to justify, support, or tolerate understandings or actions that are contrary to humanitarian principles on the basis of claims of religious understanding. Seeing this phenomenon, then to overcome it must be through teaching religious education. Christian religious education is an appropriate religious education to anticipate the understanding of religious radicalism that is happening and will occur in the life of the community, through teaching Christian religious education in families, churches, schools and plural societies Artikel ini merupakan upaya untuk memasukan pendidikan agama Kristen sebagai pendidikan agama yang antipatif terhadap radikalisme dalam beragama di indonesia. Indonesia merupkan Negara yang beragam dalam beragama, dalam hal ini, ada enama agama yang di akui di bangsa Indonesia keenam agama tersebut adalah Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha, dan Konhucu. Radikalisme agama merupakan tindakan seseorang atau sekelompok orang yang bertentangan dengan prinsip-prinsip kemanusiaan atas dasar keyakinan agama. Dengan kecenderungan untuk membenarkan, mendukung, atau menoleransi paham atau tindakan yang bertentangan dengan prinsip-prinsip kemanusiaan tersebut atas dasar klaim paham keagamaan. Melihat fenomena tersebut, maka untuk mengatasinya harus melalui pengajaran pendidikan agama. Pendidikan agama Kristen merupakan pendidikan agama yang tepat untuk mengantisipasi paham radikalisme agama yang sedang terjadi dan yang akan terjadi dalam kehidupam masyarakat, melalui pengajaran pendidikan agama Kristen di keluarga, gereja, sekolah dan masyarakat majemuk.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how preparations for teaching the teacher with the catching power of class XI and XII students in SMA 4 PSKD Panglima Polim. In this study the population is students of class XI and XII SMA 4 PSKD Panglima Polim totaling 60 people. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The data obtained were analyzed using a percentage frequency distribution. The instrument used is a questionnaire with table form. This method is chosen because it suits the research objectives to be achieved. From the results of the research of the two variables shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the preparation variables of teaching the teacher with the student's catching power. In other words, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, this is indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.501 or 50.1% which shows the correlation of the two variables is positive. As well as the coefficient of determination of 0.251 or 25.1% which shows the teacher's teaching preparation variable has a relationship with the student's catching power of 25.1% while 74.9% is influenced by other factors. Another thing is also indicated by the ANOVA or F test, Fcount of 9.336 with sig. = 0.005

Abstract

This article does not want to discuss the role of the family in religious education, because it has been widely discussed. This article will briefly describe the importance of being careful in determining potential spouses. Because of the mistake of choosing and determining a life partner as husband and wife will destroy the peace and harmony that becomes the ideal with all couples in the household. When in each marriage there is no peace and harmony, then it will have a major impact on the implementation of the task of teaching religious education for children as a new generation, especially if the marriage ends in polygamy and divorce. Abstrak: Artikel ini tidak hendak membahas peranan keluarga dalam pendidikan agama, karena hal tersebut telah banyak dibahas. Artikel ini hendak menguraikan secara singkat betapa pentingnya kehati-hatian dalam menentukan calon pasangan hidup. Karena kesalahan memilih dan menentukan pasangan hidup sebagai suami dan istri akan menghancurkan kedamaian dan keharmonisan yang menjadi cita-cita bersama semua pasangan dalam rumah tangga. Ketika dalam setiap pernikahan tidak ada kedamaian dan keharmonisan, maka hal tersebut akan berdampak besar bagi pelaksanaan tugas mengajarkan pendidikan agama bagi anak-anak sebagai generasi baru, apalagi jika pernikahan itu berujung pada poligami dan perceraian.

Abstract

Publication activities in the Christian Religious Colleges in Indonesia (PTKKI) have not been carried out optimally, nor has the number of citations related to these publications. Citation is one of the important things that must be considered due to improving the reputation and accreditation value of study programs and institutions. This paper presented finding to improve the citation of lecturers in the PTKKI environment by using a preprint repository that is generally known. By applying descriptive analysis methods in the literature related to the use of repositories, the result of this qualitative study is: Lecturers can apply the usage of media such as Academia Edu, Researchgate, and Open Science Framework (OSF) for students to upload their assignments in order to increase citation towards their scientific work published in online journals. Abstrak: Kegiatan publikasi di lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Kristen di Indonesia (PTKKI) belum dilakukan secara maksimal, demikian juga dengan jumlah sitasi terkait publikasi tersebut. Sitasi merupakan salah satu hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam rangka meningkatkan reputasi dan nilai akreditasi prodi serta institusi. Tulisan ini menyajikan temuan untuk meningkatkan sitasi dosen di lingkungan PTKKI dengan menggunakan repositori preprint yang sudah dikenal secara umum. Dengan menerapkan metode analisis deskriptif pada literatur terkait pemanfaatan repositori, maka hasil dari penelitian kualitatif ini adalah: Para dosen dapat menerapkan penggunaan media seperti Academia Edu, Researchgate, dan Open Science Framework (OSF) sebagai wadah mahasiswa mengunggah tugas-tugas kuliahnya demi meningkatkan sitasi terhadap karya ilmiah mereka yang dipublikasi pada jurnal online.
