Jurnal Pengembangan Rekayasa dan Teknologi ( JPRT ) is a scholarly refereed research journal that aims to promote the theory and practice of technology, innovation, and engineering management. The journal links engineering, science, and management disciplines. It addresses the issues involved in the planning, development, and implementation of technological capabilities to shape and accomplish the strategic and operational objectives of an organization. It covers not only R&D management but also the entire spectrum of managerial concerns in technology-based organizations. This includes issues relating to new product development, human resource management, innovation process management, project management, technological fusion, marketing, technological forecasting, and strategic planning. The journal provides an interface between technology and other corporate functions, such as R&D, marketing, manufacturing, and administration. Its ultimate goal is to make a profound contribution to theory development, research, and practice by serving as a leading forum for the publication of scholarly research on all aspects of technology, innovation, and engineering management.

Abstract

Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized SBC (Single Board Computer) developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the UK with the aim of teaching basic computer science at school. Raspberry Pi can be used for various things including wireless. In this study will be carried out the implementation of wireless routers by using Raspberry Pi as the main media. This is done to implement the use of Raspberry Pi devices as an alternative to Wireless Routers or in the world of networking. The Wireless Router implementation method used is the PPDIOO network cycle method owned by CISCO which has the stages of Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize. Wireless Router implementation uses several devices between Edimax - Wireless 802.11b / g / n usb wireless adapter as a device or Broadcast Wireless Raspberry Pi media as the main function of the device and system owned by the Wireless Router. Wireless Routers using Raspberry Pi become one of the best solutions for the needs of adding new wireless network segments if you see in terms of limited funds and existing devices. An administrator will easily build a new network using Raspberry Pi.

Abstract

Pemberian pakan merupakan salah satu hal penting untuk usaha budidaya ikan. Saat ini pemberian pakan umumnya masih tergantung pada sumber daya manusia yang bersifat manual. Oleh karena itu dirancang alat untuk memberi pakan ikan yang dapat bekerja secara otomatis berdasarkan waktu atau jadwal pemberian pakan dan takaran pakan. Pakan ikan otomatis ini menggunakan PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) yang merupakan pengontrol utama, Inverter sebagai pengubah tegangan DC ke AC dari panel surya ke charge controller, Panel surya sebagai pembangkit listrik yang diperoleh dari sinar matahari yang dilengkapi dengan charge controller dan aki sebagai penyimpan dan penyalur tegangan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat penjadwalan pakan ikan otomatis tenaga surya menggunakan PLC telah berfungsi dengan baik. Alat tersebut bekerja berdasarkan sistem penjadwalan yang telah di setting melalui software cx-one programmer ke PLC. Alat akan bekerja sesuai jadwal yang telah diatur yaitu jam 7 pagi dan jam 4 sore serta kapasitas pakan yang keluar sudah terencana yaitu 1 Menit 30 detik. Pada saat pengujian nilai rata-rata tegangan solar cell tanpa beban   adalah 38,69 Vdc, sedangkan pada posisi berbeban didapatkan 36,92 Vdc, nilai rata-rata arus solar cell tanpa beban   adalah 1,80 A, sedangkan pada posisi berbeban didapatkan 1,56 A. Nilai rata-rata daya solar cell tanpa beban   adalah 70,02 W, sedangkan pada posisi berbeban didapatkan 48,74 W dan juga pada inverter menghasilkan daya keluaran rata-rata adalah 201,43 W

Abstract

Meeting the needs and maintaining the availability of water is an effort where a situation where the area is usually not run by water such as settlements, industrial areas, and other public facilities. This situation is considered to be detrimental to both morally and materially, the impact of which will directly be felt by humans. Therefore humans must balance between needs and natural conditions.Please note that the Klepek Dam is one of the buildings that functions as a water reservoir after the Pacal Reservoir for irrigation needs in the rice fields. To realize the success of quality Dam buildings and able to function as planned, it is needed by making check dam using concrete consumption.From studies and calculations that have been done using software, AutoCad, and Harpes calculation methods, it is known the impact of flood discharge and cross section in the Lusi watershed to determine whether or not the cross section of the Pacal Reservoir is necessary. Abstract

Information books in the library will provide a special identity on any book title. Identity of the books stored in the library will allow the borrower book knows the book title, author, ISBN number, number of shelves where the books are stored and the number of books available in the library. Identity can be summarized in a QR Code.With the QR Code on the books, the user can obtain information about a book without having to connect to the database, simply scanning the QR Code Reader. To create a QR Code requires an application generator. In this study, the authors will develop case studies QR Code Generator library FTIK University of Semarang. QR Code Generator will convert alphanumeric data from a book into a two-dimensional image. Which will be attached to each book in the library.

Abstract

Professors profession is a profession that is very noble because it carries a very big task that can affect the progress of a nation. The advanced nation must have qualified human resources (HR) that can compete with other countries. In creating quality human resources, the role of education is very important. The role of education according to Law no. 20 of 2003 on the national education system. Performance appraisal is the determination of the operational effectiveness of an organization and its personality based on the target of predetermined strategy, standard and criteria. Lecturer performance appraisal results will produce tremendous results for the study program or faculty, especially determining the decision given rewards or sanctions, other than that the lecturer is motivated to improve its performance. Competence is a statement that describes the appearance of a certain ability unanimously which is a combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that can be observed and measured. Whereas with the design of the lecturer performance data management system, performance appraisal will facilitate communication between lecturers and appraisers that are done by simply entering certain data to produce monitoring information routinely and useful. Indicators that assess the main activities of pedagogic competence, personality competence and propesional competence, the value becomes a reference aspect assessed in the lecturer appraisal process. The data used is also taken from student's idenpendensi, so that consistency is maintained.

Abstract

Kesamaan atau kemiripan judul pada saat mahasiswa mengambil mata kuliah Tugas Akhir (TA) dapat mungkin terjadi. Hal ini merupakan masalah yang serius dalam penelitian bagi mahasiswa saat mengerjakan TA atau skripsi.Saat ini di Fakultas TIK, data judul TA yang sudah selesai masih hanya disimpan ke dalam sebuah basis data pada saat pengajuan dan belum digunakan sebagai sumber rujukan untuk mengecek kesamaan atau kemiripan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah alat untuk menemukan informasi judul-judul yang sudah ada pada database menggunakan mesin pencari. Dikarenakan mesin pencari merupakan bentuk praktek dari penerapan teknik temu kembali informasi pada koleksi text dengan skala besar maka perlu adanya sebuah mesin pencari judul Tugas Akhir pada Fakultas TIK yang menerapkan teknik temu kembali informasi dengan model Boolean retrieval.
