Abstract

This study aims to find out the application of kaizen, the impact felt by the employees in applying kaizen and the customers feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented to improve the after sales service of PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop. This study was conducted by using qualitative research method in analyzing the application of kaizen.The method of data collection was carried out by conducting observation and documentation. The data collection method to find out the impact that employees feel and the customers feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented used the direct interview method with 4 employees who have applied kaizen and 5 customers who have experienced kaizen products. The results of this study indicate that the application of kaizen in PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop has run well. The impact felt by the employees is also good, the employees become more satisfied at work. The feedback given by the customers for kaizenthat has been conducted is very good. Kaizen makes the customers more comfortable and satisfied with the services provided to themselves and their vehicles.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBased on agency theory, earnings management occurs because of differences in economic interests between managers as agents and owners of companies as principals, where each party seeks to achieve the desired level of prosperity. Many factors affect both internal and external earnings management. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, leverage, public share ownership (PSO) and institutional ownership (INS) to earnings management (earning management). The sample in this research is the consumer goods industry sector listed on the BEI during the period 2013-2015. By using purposive sampling method, there are 42 companies that meet the criteria. Methods of data collection is done through documentation study and literature study. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research gives the conclusion that partially profitability, leverage, public share ownership and institutional ownership have no effect to earnings management. While simultaneously all independent variables have no effect on earnings management.

Abstract

One of the economic policy packages issued to stimulate the economy in this country is tax, which is one of resource that is needed to finance the state s economy. In 2015, the amount of revenue from personal income taxpayer was very low and still depended on the corporate income taxpayer. As a result, this dependence will affect the nation s economic fluctuation. Therefore, the government in 2016 will focus on personal income taxpayers. The fact found in the field is that people have not using the E-Filling. The population in this study was people in the Tegalsari Sub-District of Candisari District, Semarang who have aTINand the number of sample is 82 respondents.The results showed that based on simultaneous test, it is found that the perceived usefulness, taxpayer s compliance, Quality of Information and Technology, Quality of Service variables simultaneously affect the taxpayer s interest in using the E-Filling. Based on the partial test, it is noted that the perceived usefulness and Information Technology Quality variables do not significantly affect taxpayer readability in using E Filling to report their tax obligations while Taxpayer s compliance and quality of service variables significantly influence the taxpayer's interest in using the E -Filling to report their tax obligations.

Abstract

Taxation is the primary source of income for a state. The purpose of this research to know the model of creative economic assistance, identification of income share, tax training action. This research includes descriptive research using qualitative methods. To analyze the data of researchers using Miles and Huberman theory through data reduction, data presentation, draw conclusions. The result of the research shows that it is necessary to assist the business of the creative economy in the field of accounting and taxation in integrative model. There is a share of revenue earned. Action expansion of tax training, to improve taxpayer compliance. The model test is done by analysis on an aspect of recording, business bookkeeping, fulfillment of tax obligation. A quad helix action model is required for creative economic assistance.

Abstract

Sister city collaboration is an activity carried out based on cooperation agreements between city governments in Indonesia and city governments abroad to mutually improve relations of friendship and understanding between the two countries. The Semarang Government on 11 January 1993 signed the first Sister City Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lord Mayor Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Unfortunately, this MoU of cooperation was halted in 2005, and although the MoU was still ongoing the implementation of the program activities stopped in 1997. The results of previous studies showed several factors as factors supporting the success of sister city cooperation. One of the supporting factors is the factor of human resources (HR). The purpose of this study is to identify aspects of the human resource factor that can support the success of the Semarang-Brisbane sister city activity.Primary data collection in this study was in the form of a questionnaire and interview to eight respondents from various backgrounds. The analysis in this study was carried out using descriptive analysis to describe the opinions of respondents about human resource factors that support the success of Semarang-Brisbane sister city.The results of the study show that the important HR competency factors are those who have an understanding of the culture and language of the partner countries. Whereas according to its importance the competence of human resources is mastering English or other relevant languages, understanding partner countries, experts in the field of international agreements and mastering foreign policy.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Golden Voice Online Store Semarang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of consignment sales and the recording method used in Golden Voice Online Store. This study uses qualitative method of case study by using triangulation of data sources, namely observation, interview and documentation. The sources of the data taken were the data from Golden Voice Online Store. The results of this study indicate that in the financial statements, Golden Voice Online Store has not recorded the consignment in accordance with the applicable Accounting Standard. The method of accounting recording for consignment sales used is inseparabled method.

Abstract

Efficiency is one of the performance parameters underlying an organization. Efficiency in the world of banking is one of the performance parameters that is quite popular and widely used because it is the answer to the difficulties in calculating banking performance measurements. The measurement of banking efficiency can be done with Multivariate Analysis. Multiveriate is a methodology for determining relative efficiency and managerial performance based on empirical data. In this method, profit is modeled to be deviated from its profit efficient frontier which is influenced by the input and output functions. The sample of this study was 40 Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Business Units for 4 years starting from 2014-2018 which were analyzed using the STATA 8 technique with panel data. The results of this research show that Islamic banks are technically efficient based on intermediation (100%) and the efficient scale based on intermediation and production. Efficiency can be increasing liquid assets, while based on production approach.

Abstract

There are some factors that can influence the success and failure of furniture companies include product quality, price perception, and brand image that can have an impact on consumer purchasing decisions. The aimed of study to analyze the influence of product quality, price perception, and brand image on purchasing decisions.The object of this study is PT Kota Jati Furindo Jeparam, this companies is one of the companies engaged in the furniture trade located on Jl. Jepara-Bangsri No.Km 6.5 hamlet 1, Suwawal, Mlonggo, Jepara, Central Java. The samples of this study are consumers who bought furniture at PT Kota Jati Furindo Jepara. The reasearcher use linear regression to analyze this study.The results showed that product quality, price perception and brand image had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Better product quality, price perception, and brand image of furniture will further enhance consumer purchasing decisions on furniture at PT Kota Jati Furnindo Jepara.

Abstract

A brand has a value that is delivered to the consumer. Services are everything that the consumers want to use and enjoy. In the transportation service industry, the best service is to create value services that can attract consumers to use the service. The object of ths study is consumers from the Y Generation. The Y Generation is a society group whose members are 26 years old and above, where the main two factors in relation to their needs is comfort and security. The Go-Jek brand is a well-known transportation services brand throughout Indonesia. The conclusion of this study is the high brand value of Go-Jek brand is increases the intention of using Gojek services especially from the Y Generation consumers. The implication of this study is that Go-Jek Company must utilise Y Generation consumer needs such as comfort and an alternative path for travelling so then the consumer can arrive at the destination faster.

Abstract

The number of female workers is increasing and its role in leadership is giving its own perspective on the topic of women leadership. Pro and contra phenomenon related to women leadership still exist in the society. In addition to explain the paradigm of woman leadership, this study also explains the pro and contra of women leadership from various perspectives and provides an overview of how the pro and contra emerge. The method that was used in this study is literature study from the Al-Quran, books, journals and studies. The findings of this study shows that women leadership style leads to transformational, democratic, collaborative styles and have high relational value. Leadership is left to follow one's worth and ability from either men or women. If someone meets the requirements and deserves to be a leader even though from the women's group this remains true. The emergence of pro and contra is based on different point of views; every point of view has different concepts which lead to different practices. The results of an interpretation are not only come from the methods and approaches used, but are also influenced by their socio-cultural and ideological conditions.
