Abstract

Dropshot is one of the trick techniques in badminton, a good dropshot direction falls behind the double line. In badminton athletes aged 11-12 years the dropshot accuracy is still not good, the shuttlecock often falls far from the net or behind the short serve line. Based on these observations, it is necessary to have a form of training to improve dropshot accuracy. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of strokes training with shadows and audio visual on dropshot accuracy. This study uses a quasi-experimental method, the design used in this study is the Two Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 14 badminton athletes aged 11-12 years (7 athletes in group A and 7 athletes in group B). With the sampling technique using purposive sampling, data analysis in this study used the t test. The results of this study showed that group A had a significant effect of strokes training with shadow on dropshot accuracy, with an increase in dropshot accuracy of 23.09% compared to the results in group B strokes training with audio visual, the magnitude of the increase in dropshot accuracy was obtained by 16.77%. So it can be concluded that strokes training with shadow has a better effect on badminton dropshot accuracy for athletes aged 11-12 years. Abstract

Online yoga classes in various formats have seen a surge in popularity after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. This trend is considered to make it easier for participants and instructors, but also raises its own concerns regarding the comfort and safety of participants. Find out which options are considered more satisfying in the eyes of yoga class participants (customers): yoga classes in online or offline formats. Data collection was carried out using an online questionnaire via Google Form which was distributed via several instant messaging applications to 49 people obtained from several yoga communities. 7 respondents did not meet the inclusion criteria. Data processing to compare customer satisfaction with offline and online yoga classes was carried out using the Minitab software, using a paired t-test procedure on the answers obtained from the second and third parts of the questionnaire. Then a correlation test was carried out using the Pearson Correlation Test method to determine the correlation between customer satisfaction and the aspects examined in the questionnaire. Based on the comparative T-test conducted, a p-value of <0.05 was obtained for all aspects being compared, namely Outcome Quality (OQ), Relational Quality (RQ), Physical Environment (PE), Safety & Risks (SR), Customer Satisfaction (SAT), Word-of-Mouth (WOM), and Psychological Commitment (COM). All comparison tests obtained a higher mean score in the offline yoga class than the online yoga class. The online yoga class format has not been able to replace the conventional offline format yoga class in the eyes of the participants. The results of this study can be used as one of the considerations for involving customer satisfaction factors in determining steps that can be taken to improve the quality of yoga classes in online formats, or for further research.. Keywords: Yoga, customer satisfaction, online sports.

Abstract

Anxiety experienced by athletes before a match often interferes with the performance of athletes on the field, music is often used as a tool to relax and minimize anxiety before a match. However, there has been no further research examining the impact of music on athletes' anxiety before competition. Therefore this research was conducted to contribute to the scope of sports achievements, especially basketball. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, using the anxiety questionnaire approach given to athletes before the competition. The total participants in this study were 87 athletes who took part in basketball competitions. All samples were divided into two groups, each group was required to listen to music 30 minutes before the match and the other group did not listen to music. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the music and control groups in reducing the athlete's anxiety level before the competition. This study shows that there is an impact of real music on reducing athletes' anxiety before the competition. It is hoped that in the future there will be further research that compares types of music, so that there is a more conical reference which type of music is more effective in reducing athlete's anxiety before competition.
