Abstract

This study aims to identify trends descriptive learning outcomes Science of class VII Banguntapan 5 Junior High School academic year 2015/2016 are learning to use the Outdoor Learning models and Expository models. Comparatively aims to know is there any difference in learning outcomes Science of class VII Banguntapan 5 Junior High School academic year 2015/2016 between the learning model and the Outdoor Learning and expository models. This type of research is a Quasi-Experiment. Descriptive research results showed that the tendency of science learning achievement of class VII Banguntapan 5 Junior High School academic year 2015/2016 were learning to use the model included in the category of Outdoor Learning is very high and learning using expository models included in the high category. Comparatively, there are significant differences Science learning outcomes of students of class VII Banguntapan 5 Junior High School academic year 2015/2016 between learning using Outdoor Learning models and expository models. Means no influence learning Outdoor Learning models the learning outcomes of students of class VII Science.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the preferences of learning results in science using Number Head Together (NHT) model of cooperative learning method and conventional method towards 7thgrade students of SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis Yogyakarta. comparatively, this research his aimed to describe the difference of learning results in science using Number Head Together (NHT)  model of cooperative learning method with conventional learning method of 7thgrade students of SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis Yogyakarta academic year 2015/2016. This research is a Quasi-Experiment. The researcher used random sampling as the technique of collecting the sample. Descriptively, the research results showed that the learning results in the science of the class given number head together with the model in cooperative learning method in SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis Yogyakarta academic year 2015/2016 included in the high category. Comparatively, there was a very significant difference of learning results in science using number head together with a model in cooperative learning method and conventional learning method.

Abstract

This study aim was to determine the correlation between motivation and discipline of students on science result study of 7th-grade student secondary school of subdistrict Pandak in academic year 2014/2015. The study population included all students of the 7th-grade secondary school of subdistrict Pandak with totally 110 students. Descriptive research results showed that the students' motivation and discipline of the students were in the very high category and Science learning outcomes at the high category. Finally, the results of correlation analysis showed that the correlation and coefficient of 0.623, included the strong category, which meant that there was a positive relationship between motivation and discipline of students with learning outcomes IPA junior class VII Pandak throughout the school year 2014/2015.

Abstract

The study population was all students of class VII lesson consisting of 8 classes with a number of 216 students. Samples were taken by selecting random sampling. Data were taken with the engineering tests and documentation. Test validity with product moment correlation, from about 30 obtained 26 valid items and 4 in the fall. Test reliability using the KR - 20, obtained r count = 0.938, when compared with r table 5 % = 0.361, mean science achievement test is reliable. Techniques of data analysis using t-test before the data is analyzed first tested the requirement analysis that uses the distribution normality test and Chi-square test of homogeneity of variance using the F test. Descriptive research results show that the tendency of science learning of seventh-grade students are taught using cooperative learning model type jigsaw with 22.596 included in the category of very high and is taught using a type two stay two stray with on the everage 20.8148 included in the category of very high. Comparatively, there is a significant difference between the use of science learning outcomes cooperative learning model type jigsaw and type two stay two stray odd semesters of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan. It is shown from the results obtained by t-test = 2.383 where the value is greater than ttable5 % = 2.00 with db 52. By looking at the mean of the jigsaw cooperative learning model is higher than with the type two stay two strays. In other words, jigsaw cooperative learning model more effectively improves science learning outcomes compared with type two stay two strays.

Abstract

This aims of the study were to know the tendency of science learning outcomes of students class VII in SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta 2014/2015 which were taught using cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS) and Comparative conventional. Comparatively was to know the effect of using cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS) in science learning outcomes of students class VII in SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta 2014/2015. The result showed that the tendency of science learning outcomes of students who were taught using Think Pair Share (TPS) model is higher than using conventional. The result showed that there was the influence of cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS) on science learning outcomes of students class VII in SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta 2014/2015.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to raise the interest and learning-result in Science for students in class VIII B through model a cooperative learning type Snowball Throwing. This type of research is a "Research The Act of The Class". The subject this research is the students in class VIIIB. while the object the activity t and its learning-result sciences. The data-collecting technique can be by the inquiry, test, observation, and documentation. The data analyzing calculated using analyzes technique, using percentage, qualitative descriptive and the indicator of success. The research result shows that the learning-activity and learning-result science has progressed every cycle.The result percentage the average activity indicator in cycle I am 56% and it increased up to 82% in cycle II. The students' Science learning-result average in pre-cycle also increased from 51,38 to 78,18 in cycle II. There are five students who succeed reaching the KKM in pre-cycle by the percentage 22,73%. Cycle I has 9 students with the percentage 40,91%. In cycle II, it increased there were 16 students with percentage 72,73%  succeed reaching the KKM.

Abstract

The research was to know the determine science learning outcomes. In comparative term in the research to know the difference science learning outcomes among that students learned in in process skills approach and expository approach. This research did in MTs Negeri Sleman City in academic year 2014/2015. This study was a quasi experiment. The population in the research was 132 students. The sample is taken using the technique of purposive sampling. The amount of research sample is 62 students, VIII D class as experiment class and VIII F class as control class. The data is taken using an instrument of learning result test in the form of multiple choice which has been tested its validity and reliability. The analysis techniques used analysis requirement included disseminate normality test, and variance homogeneity. Descriptively, the result of the study showed that propensity science learning outcomes result, that learned in process skills approach included of a very high category. The students that learned expository approach included the high category. Comparatively, the results showed is a significant difference in science learning outcomes of students who learned with the process skills approach with students that learned expository approach ( t value = 4,128 > t table = 2,000 ) at the 5 % significance level and. That means that the approach of process skills influence on science learning outcomes students grade VIII MTs Negeri Sleman City in academic year 2014/2015.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Science achievement learning of 8th-grade student of the secondary school of Pembangunan Karangmojo in academic year 2014/2015 by Snowball Throwing model and expository learning models. The experiment was conducted in SMP Pembangunan Karangmojo. This research is a Quasi-Experiment with the entire population of the 8th-grade students are 52 students. Data collection techniques using the technical documentation and multiple choices test. Test requirements include the analysis of distribution normality test, homogeneity test variants and data analysis techniques using t-test. Descriptive research results show that the trend of achievement learning that learning science using cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing and expository learning models are included category high and medium. The average score of the experimental group higher grade. Thus there is the effect of cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing on achievement learning of students of class VIII SMP IPA Pembangunan Karangmojo.
