Abstract

ABSTRACT: Waste, by definition, is something that is dirty and must be disposed of and consisting of organic or non-organic materials. If it is not processed and managed properly it can cause illness and disaster. An Organic waste can be processed and managed into compost which is beneficial for human life. The aim of the study was to increase student knowledge of waste as a source of learning for character education. Research method: qualitative descriptive. Research respondents for third grade students of public elementary schools. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews, field notes, and documentation. The results of the study: 1) 38 students stated that waste can be used as a learning resource for character education; 2) 38 students stated that character education can be done by parents, teachers, and the community by giving examples of good and right behavior and attitudes when disposing and utilizing waste; 3) 39 students stated that efforts to reduce floods could be avoided by accustoming everyone to disposing of garbage in its place; 4) 37 students know organic and non-organic waste. Conclusion: Through the learning process of character education, waste can be used as a learning resource and can be processed and managed into economically valuable compost, which in the end can also help reduce floods that often occur in the community.

Abstract

The transformation of intellectual thought from Malaysia, Syed Al-Attas in Indonesia, was carried out massively by young intellectuals who were members of the Institute for the Study of Islamic Thought and Civilization (INSISTS) who had been students of Al-Attas in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In the transformation of this point of view, the INSISTS Community became a controlling actor (act) in controlling the network of the spread of Al-Attas ideas which was carried out using technology in a network based on the similarity of ideas and thoughts. The role of INSISTS as an actor in this transformation makes this community an act in terms of the transformation of Al-Attas thinking in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to look at the system of providing productive zakat funds in the Muhammadiyah zakat institution in Medan City. The current management of zakat still causes controversy. Where, the distribution of zakat funds is still less effective. The zakat management institution shows less transparent and accountable performance. The principle of justice is something that must be enforced. Where, the intended justice is being able to manage and distribute the zakat funds appropriately and quickly. The implementation of zakat in alleviating poverty and improving the economy should be immediately relocated through improving the performance of the zakat institution itself. Because the role of zakat on the lives of mustahik is very strategic if managed wisely. The development of productive zakat, which should be an alternative in alleviating poverty, is now a financing provided to the community. In fact, productive zakat is the provision of funds to mustahik or the poor, in the development of the economy, not the provision of funding that must be returned to the zakat institution. So for that, here the researcher wants to see the concept of giving productive zakat to the Muhammadiyah zakat institution in Medan. This research will be carried out for 3 months and will carry out observations and conduct direct interviews with the Muhammadiyah Zakat Institution in Medan City.To achieve the results of this study, this study uses a qualitative descriptive research method where researchers are actively involved in meeting, observing, and interviewing participants to uncover productive zakat management strategies in alleviating poverty, with the case study of the Medan City Muhammadiyah Zakat Institute.

Abstract

This study attempts to describe HOS Tjokroaminoto's thinking about Islamic Education, this research is a library research study using a qualitative narrative approach. While the method used is descriptive qualitative with character studies. Study of character studies is a systematic study of the thoughts or ideas of a Muslim thinker. The results of his research are 1) Islamic character education really must be applied both in formal schools or family environments, to fortify themselves from the decadence of the modern Jahiliyah era. The character of Islamic education must go through: 2) Islamic education must be based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

A belief, is not form, not born of vacuum, but will come from a variety of life experiences that are full of wonder, and have worldly dimensions. However, in practice, a belief requires a means to be able to read in the practice of everyday life. This study defines other communities with their disorders. By using the field-research method from the Mini Research assignment of Education Subjects at the UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Program Doktoral (S3), which is guided by Prof. Dr. H.M. Uus Ruswandi, M.Pd. and Dr. Hj. Aan Hasanah, Ph.D., where the community of the Dayak Bumi Segandu Losarang Indramayu Tribe is the object of study. The researcher separates other processes from a kebatinan community association that has the teachings of Nature as a process of internalizing the values / character of its followers.The results of the study show that for the community of the Dayak Bumi Segandu Losarang Indramayu, respecting fellow humans as natural beings is not easy for others and takes precedence in calling themselves a movement of patience and the first step in finding the truth. Then blame the Segandu Losarang Indramayu Earth Dayak community and its social roles have been united in the community, so that it can be part of the treasure of thought and also the value that characterizes the earth of Indonesian Unity in Diversity.

Abstract

Al-Ghazali in developing the economy especially in the problem of market evolution departs from the principles of ketauhidan, akhirat, and minutes. From this principle developed multidimensional economic goals. Not only aimed at material-oriented but also in order to achieve spiritual satisfaction. In detail described al-Ghazali that the creation of the evolution of the market, namely "Can farmers live where agricultural equipment is not available.In contrast blacksmiths and carpenters live where agricultural land does not exist, but naturally they will meet each other's needs In the context of the method of mining of economics, Al-Ghazali offers an inductive method, which is based on the Qur'an and al-Hadith and based on the phenomena of the reality of economic activity, and the value surrounding it The method used in this paper is literary research that reads and examines the various sources related to the topic Conclusion Al-Ghazali's economic thinking is a voluntary exchange and market evolution that includes demand, supply, price, profit and market ethics as well as usury and the role of the state in the advancement of the public economy. Thus, in the perspective of Islamic law it can be concluded that al-Ghazali's thought of market evolution is not contrary to Islamic law (law in the field of muamalah)

Abstract

Tawhid education is the basic foundation of a Muslim. In the family environment and society tauhid education is an absolute necessity, not only to people who have not recognized Allah swt as their god (not believers) but to those who have acknowledged Allah swt as their god (faith) or to people whose faith is still weak. Therefore, tauhid education is important for both families and communities. In general, the principle of monotheism is to recognize that Allah is the only God Almighty and only to Allah alone is a servant worshiping and asking for help.Keywords: Education, Tawheed, Koran
