Abstract

This article presents learning media innovations in accordance with technological developments. The research problem is the difficulty of students understanding the human respiratory system material because the teacher uses the lecture method. In addition, there is no learning media to help students' concrete understanding. Learning media is needed to make it easier for students to understand the material. The research method used is Research & Development, ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and effectiveness of SAC Application Assisted Human Respiratory System Material Learning Media for Elementary Schools. The subjects of this study were 17 fifth grade students at SDN Sumberagung 01, Jaken, Pati. The results of the validation of linguists were 100%, the validation of media experts was 97.5%, the validation of material experts was 98.5%, the validation of teachers (practitioners) was 98.9%. The N.Gain test is 0.90 and the percentage of student responses is 94.1%. The conclusion of this study is that Learning Media for Human Respiratory System Materials Assisted by the SAC Application for Elementary Schools is valid and effective for increasing learning outcomes in Natural Sciences subject matter for human respiratory systems in class V students.

Abstract

A learning approach that is fun, flexible, friendly to students, and in accordance with the needs of students is a learning approach that humanizes humans. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data search techniques use participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The purpose of this article is to describe the planning of Islamic religious education learning, the implementation of Islamic religious education learning, and the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education. The results of the study illustrate that: (1) Islamic religious education learning planning using an active learning approach is realized through: (a) the selection of subject matter is carried out through joint meetings to integrate the Islamic boarding school curriculum and the formal curriculum; (b) the facilitator teaches using project learning methods, experiments, and field trips; (c) the learning model for students is project-based, learning information research, mind mapping, jigsaw puzzles, and index card matches; and (d) evaluation of student learning in the form of written tests, oral tests, and cognitive evaluations. (2) Implementation of Islamic religious education learning using an active learning approach has five aspects namely: (a) active participation of students in learning; (b) interrelation of students' experiences for intellectuality and action; (c) centered on students that all students learn as learning subjects; (d) new perspectives of students during the learning process students are able to think critically, discuss, and develop Islamic character; and (e) conducive and dynamic social interaction can be seen from the facilitator teaching learning approaches through discussions, lectures, demonstrations, experiments, and blended learning, project-based learning, information research learning, mind mapping, jigsaw puzzles, and index card matches. (3) The results of learning using an active learning approach are reflected in three aspects, namely: (a) changes in the behavior of students who are more comfortable in class; (b) increased knowledge of students in critical thinking, discussing, and collaborating in learning; and (c) a new habit pattern is formed for the students to have an Islamic personality, have manners, the students are more active, and the students are capable in debating and arguing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in developing students' talents and interests and focus on how supporting and inhibiting factors are carried out by guidance and counseling teachers. The method used is qualitative research method, with a descriptive case study strategy. This is done to answer the problem formulation questions comprehensively regarding how guidance and counseling interventions as the development of interests and talents at SMA AN-NIZAM Medan. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out through editing, coding, classification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that guidance and counseling teachers play a role in developing students' interests and talents through large class services, extracurricular selection services and providing interest questionnaires.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of life skills education at SD Muhammadiyah Demangan Yogyakarta. This research uses a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach with a case study design. The primary data sources in this study were the head of the madrasah, deputy student affairs, and students. Secondary data sources in this study are documents related to the research discussion. Data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documents. Data analysis technique using triangulation. The research results obtained are the implementation of life skills education taught through 18 extracurricular activities. The implementation of life skill education at SD Muhammadiyah Demangan has implemented two specific life skills which include academic skills and vocational skills. At Muhammadiyah Demangan Elementary School, implementing life skills education gives freedom to students to choose extra activities to follow, taught in direct practice so that students gain meaningful experience. This is in line with the philosophical view of progressivism. After participating in extracurricular activities students are expected to change and improve these skills as a provision for their lives in the future.

Abstract

The progress of contemporary knowledge has implications for the formulation of Islamic studies in general, including the examination of the Qur'an. Scholars at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta are redefining the approach to studying the Qur'an in a more modern direction to foster synergy and dialogue with established practices. The objective of this research is to uncover patterns and mechanisms for advancing Qur'anic studies at UIN Sunan Kalijaga by effectively integrating scientific methods and the teachings of the Qur'an. In order to accomplish this, the research employs a qualitative methodology and utilizes a systematic literature review as an analytical technique. The study reveals a developmental pattern in Qur'anic studies at UIN Sunan Kalijaga that commenced with a shift in perspective from a traditional emphasis on religious texts (ulūm ad-din) to critical investigations (dirāsāt islamīyah) based on empirical observations. Consequently, a fresh and contemporary model of Qur'anic studies has emerged. However, the application of these novel concepts encounters challenges, particularly in student research, where passivity impedes active involvement in the advancement of Qur'anic studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungbalai. Adapun Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kegiatan supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dengan melakukan supervisi langsung dan supervisi tidak langsung. Supervisi langsung dengan bentuk teguran atau bimbingan. Dan observasi tidak langsung dengan cara  mensupervisi  dari  laporan-laporan. Upaya yang dilakukan supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dengan penentuan berbagai kebijakan yang diperlukan, pembaharuan jalan keluar berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh seluruh pegawainya dan menyediakan sarana dan prasarana bagi pengembangan sekolah. Faktor pendukung supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah adanya kesadaran dari para pegawai administrasi di sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Dan faktor penghambat dari supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah adalah belum banyaknya bentuk-bentuk pelatihan untuk pegawai   serta masih adanya sarana yang belum maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the activities carried out during the scout extracurricular activities in elementary schools and the elements of independence contained in each activity. The method used in this writing issystematic literature review. The information used contains the character of independence. Processliterature review This is done by searching for relevant articles, evaluating by means of data extraction and then comparing the results of the literature. The database used isgoogle scholar. The results of this study indicate that (1) the weekly activities carried out during the Scout extracurricular take place can train students' self-reliance in stages and are well embedded, (2) the elements contained in each scouting activity form a pattern of student character well too. The implications of this research are: First, the teacher is able to provide training for instilling the character of independence for students through scout extracurricular activities. Second, parents can provide full support for their children to participate in various extracurricular activities. Third, students can get used to doing things independently, without bothering other people, so that students have a tough nature and don't depend on others. Furthermore, in this study the authors explain the various kinds of extracurricular activities that have been carried out in various elementary schools to train the independence of their students, and other elements that are instilled in each activity carried out.

Abstract

This research is to describe the management of teaching staff at MTs S YMPI ST. Raso Tanjungbalai City. The aim of this research is to reveal how planning, organizing, implementing and supervising teaching staff at MTs YMPI ST. Raso Tanjungbalai City. The method used is qualitative research, with research data collection obtained using triangulation techniques with data collection techniques through documentation, interviews and observation. The steps to analyze data are to collect data, reduce data, present data and then conclude. To test the validity of the data, credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests are used. The results of this research reveal three findings, namely planning of teaching staff at MTs. S YMPI ST. The Tanjungbalai City Raso has been implemented and structured correctly in accordance with existing provisions, namely the organization of teaching staff at MTs. S YMPI ST. Tanjungbalai City Raso has been carried out in accordance with predetermined procedures. As for the implementation of the teaching staff plan at MTs. S YMPI ST. Raso Kota Tanjungbalai is running as desired
