Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi terhadapproduksi cabai merah. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Argapura Kabupaten MajalengkaJawa Barat dengan menggunakan pendekatan survey melalui analisis deskriptif kuantitatif.Pengambilan sampel petani cabai merah melalui simple random sampling dengan jumlah 33 orang.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan faktor produksi pada usahatani cabai merah didaerah penelitian masih didasarkan pada minat dan pengalaman para petani, penggunaan faktorproduksi masih belum sesuai dengan anjuran atau rekomendasi. Faktor produksi lahan, bibit, pupuk,pestisida, dan tenaga kerja secara serempak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi cabai merahsedangkan secara parsial faktor produksi pupuk, pestisida, dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadapproduksi tetapi faktor produksi lahan dan bibit tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi cabaimerah.Kata Kunci: faktor produksi, produksi, cabai merah

Abstract

Developments in the production of rice agribusiness has a tendency to decline interms of effectiveness and efficiency, it is characterized by decreased efficiency of theprovision of inputs, decreasing rate of increase in crop yield and frequent pest. Thiscondition also occurred in the village of Wanasaba Kidul and Kubang District of TalunCirebon, West Java, productivity achieved not in accordance with what is expected, onereason is the farmers are not fully implement a package of farming technology inaccordance with the recommended, especially in the use of improved seed certified ,Seeing this, the research is needed to see the adoption rate of farmers against the use ofimproved seed certified and comparison of income between rice farming that is alreadyusing certified seed and which have not implemented. The results showed that therewere differences in income between agribusiness rice using certified rice seeds with nouse. The adoption rate of farmers on the use of improved seed certified in WanasabaKidul village categorized quite good, while the adoption rate of certified rice seeds tofarmers in the village of Kubang District of Talun including unfavorable category. Theadoption rate of farmers on the use of so-yielding rice seeds certified in additioninfluenced by the characteristics of the farmers themselves, namely: level of education,experience farming, land and farm income is also influenced by the five other factors: a.gain added value relative if the technology is adopted, b match technology with localculture, c observations of farmers to other farmers who have tried and tried himself tobe successful technologies, d try for themselves the success of new technology and e theexisting economic conditions such as the availability of capital ,Keywords: Adoption level, superior certified seed, rice agribusiness

Abstract

The plenty of red Chili demand pull up farmers to continue production of red chili and adjust it with industrydemand specification. The supply of red chili will be guaranteed if the production is going well. In fact, theproduction process frequently faces the climate disturbance therefore it was indicated that there is a risk inproduction, it deteriorated quality and quantity of red chili. Garut regency is one of the center of production ofred chili in West Java, but it is still threatened by risk production. According to that information, it is needed tostudy the elements and link period pattern of risk production then it can be suggested the policy design inmitigating the risk production. This study used dynamic system approach. The results showed that riskproduction occured when there was a death structure in growingand production period which is caused by climateanomaly. The simulation result showed that us period of technology rain shelter as one suggested design tomitigate the risk, not only can reduce the mortality but also to promote the grade product quality.Keywords : red chili. Abstract

KPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kualitas pakan, kualitassumberdaya manusia, pemeliharaan kandang dan peran pemerintah terhadap pendapatan usahaternak sapi perah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Girimulya Kecamatan Banjaran kabupatenMajalengka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknikpenentuan responden Sample Random Sampling (SRS) yang berjumlah responden 33 orang yangmerupakan peternak sapi perah. Teknis analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linierberganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Usaha ternak sapi perah dari kualitas pakan yangdiberikan sudah cukup baik, kualitas sumberdaya manusia dalam memelihara sapi sudah sangatbaik, pemeliharaan kandang sapi sudah baik dan peran pemerintah dalam usaha ternak sapi perahjuga sangat baik. Besar pendapatan rata-rata pertahun usaha ternak sapi perah sebesarRp.14.679.409. Apabila dihitung perbulan sebesar Rp.1.223.284 dari satu ekor sapi dan penjualansatu ekor pedet. Usaha ternak sapi perah dilihat dari kualitas pakan, sumberdaya manusia,pemeliharaan kandang dan peran pemerintah berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap pendapatanusaha ternak sapi perah, sedangkan secara parsial hanya dua variabel yang berpengaruhterhadap pendapatan usaha ternak sapi perah yaitu sumberdaya manusia dan pemeliharaankandangKatakunci: Kualitas susu, kualitas pakan, sumberdaya manusia, pendapatan, usaha ternak sapiperah
