This CAR is a classroom action research that examines the improvement of the ability to write descriptive texts in class VII E SMP 2 Kumai students. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of compiling descriptive text through learning using appropriate mind map media for Indonesian descriptive text material based on the 2013 curriculum in Keels VII E of SMP 2 Kumai students. The classroom action research process is carried out in two cycles, each of which includes four main stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments used are test and non-test. The test instrument is to get a score for the ability to write a descriptive text. The non-test instrument used by the researcher was a journal, an observation guide to obtaining data about students' abilities in writing descriptive texts. The results showed that the use of mind map media can improve students' writing descriptive text skills. The results of the analysis above show that the action hypothesis in this study is in accordance with the expectation that the use of mind map media can improve the ability to write a descriptive text. The results of this study can provide benefits for schools, teachers in the field of study, and students, especially those related to improving the ability to write descriptive texts.

To increase the participation and learning outcomes of Civics, the learning must be interesting, so that students are motivated to learn. This form of research is reflective by taking certain actions in order to improve and improve learning practices in the classroom. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A of SMPN 2 Kumai whose active participation and learning outcomes in Civics subjects were still low or less than 75 according to the minimum learning completeness standard (SKBM). The results showed that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning method in Civics subjects could increase active participation and student learning outcomes.

Teaching techniques and basic movement skills in sports to a large number of students requires a method that can cover the activity of all students in participating in the learning process. Also included in teaching basketball techniques, students must be active as a whole in receiving the material, especially if the material is in the form of mastering the basic skills and techniques of one sport. The teacher who plays the role of a researcher here wants to improve students' skills in practicing basketball shooting through the demonstration method. In the pre-cycle, an observation score of 48 was obtained, meaning that the students' basketball shooting skills were not good. Furthermore, researchers feel it is so important to carry out research using demonstration methods. In the first cycle, the observation results showed a score of 111, meaning that the students' basketball shooting skills were quite good. However, to make it more conducive for students' basketball shooting skills, the researchers wanted to carry out cycle II. In the second cycle, the observation results showed a score of 145, meaning that the students' basketball shooting skills were very good. In the student observation activity, the teacher assessed that students can make one-handed shots (One-hand Set Shot), students can do free throws (Free Throw), students can shoot while jumping (Jump shot), students can do hook shots ( Hook Shot) and students can do a Lay Up.

Physical education is an educational process that utilizes systematic, planned physical activities to develop and improve individuals organically, neuromuscularly, perceptually, cognitively, and emotionally within the framework of the national education system. The problem to be studied in this research is the improvement of physical education learning achievement for students by applying the inquiry method? (b) how is the effect of the inquiry method on students' learning motivation? The results of this study are (a) how is the improvement of physical education learning achievement in students after applying the inquiry method, (b) Knowing the motivation to learn physical education after applying the inquiry method. This research uses two rounds of action research. Each round consists of two stages: design, activity, and observation. Reflection and revision, the subject of this research are Class VI SDN 1 Marga Mulya students from the data obtained in practice test results observation sheets. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I (65.38%), cycle II (96.15%) for the psychomotor domain, cycle I (69.23%). Cycle II (94.87%) for the affective domain. This study concludes that the inquiry method can positively affect the learning motivation of Class VI students at SDN 1 Marga Mulya, and the learning model can be used as an alternative to physical education.

In the pre-cycle, the number of students who completed learning reached 7 students. The average value has only reached 68, which means it is still below the KKM. The results of the observations showed a score of 39. This means that the activity of students in the class is not good. In the first cycle, the number of students who completed learning reached 19 students, the average value reached 78. This means that an effective scientific approach is used to improve student achievement in the material of similarity and congruence. In student observation activities, the teacher assesses that students listen to the material conveyed by the teacher, students look enthusiastic in participating in Mathematics learning material congruence and congruence, students can express their opinions, students ask questions about things they don't know and students can work in groups with other friends. The results of the observations showed a score of 85. It means that the activity of students in the class is quite good. However, in order to make it more conducive to learning Mathematics in terms of similarity and congruence, the researcher wants to carry out cycle II. In the second cycle, the number of students who completed learning reached 24 students, the average score was 85. This means that an effective scientific approach is used to improve student achievement in the material of similarity and congruence. Observation results show a score of 108. It means that the activity of students in the class is very good.

One of the subjects or subjects of mathematics at the junior high school level is about lines and angles; lines and angles are the material taught in Class VII A of SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan. Based on the 2019/2020 academic year test report, the mastery of mathematics material at SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan, related to the line and angle material, is 56.90%. This shows that students' learning interest in the material does not determine the lines and angles still. Therefore, the mathematics teacher, who also acts as a researcher to change the learning methods or strategies that are usually applied, namely applying the Numbered Head Together learning method or strategy (NHT). This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in Class VII A of SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan with 30 students. The reflection in the first cycle is that although students in learning mathematics still face some difficulties, the Lines and Angles sub-material, the NHT learning strategy in the first cycle will be implemented quite well. This can be seen in the enthusiasm shown by students in participating in learning and mastery of the material. Using the NHT learning strategy, the line and angle sub-material learning mathematics can be conducive. Applying the NHT learning strategy based on the Cooperative Learning learning strategy demands a lot of students' active roles both in group work and individually. This is evidenced by the acquisition of student learning outcomes that have increased from the pre-cycle to the second cycle.

In semester 1, class IX students learn about plant reproduction. One of the characteristics of life is to reproduce as a goal to produce offspring. This is also done by plants. In general, there are two types of plant reproduction, namely generative and vegetative reproduction. The learning carried out in class IX of SMP Negeri 2 Kumai is not very conducive, it causes students' low understanding of reproduction in plants. Many students cannot understand the material. Based on the description in the previous chapter, the researcher concludes from the results of research conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kumai that there is an increase in understanding of plant reproduction in Class IX of SMP Negeri 2 Kumai in students' understanding of plant reproduction. In the pre-cycle 8 students who finished learning, then increased in cycle 1 there were 22 students who finished learning and in cycle 2 it reached 27 students. The average value showed in the pre-cycle was 68.23, then increased to 78.92 in cycle 1 and became 81.92 in cycle 2. So the research with the problem "Improving Student Understanding About Reproduction in Plants Through Cooperative Learning and Picture Media in Classroom IX SMP Negeri 2 Kumai for the academic year 2019/2020" in the process and a period of time that is not short, cooperative learning and image media have a positive impact on students, namely class IX students can increase students' understanding of reproduction in plants.

The low learning motivation of students is very influential on the acquisition of student achievement, especially in the matter of Avatara and deva teachings. This is evidenced by the acquisition of pre-test results for Avatara and deva teachings from 6 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan. Seeing the statement above, the author is interested in researching and testing the extent to which the motivation to learn PAHBP in avatara and deva material is through a project-based learning model. This research method uses classroom action research. The research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan Class VII. The research was carried out from August 2019 to October 2019. The research subjects were Class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the evaluation of the second cycle are known that classical learning completeness reaches (100%) with the average final score of students reaching (84.8) which previously in the pre-cycle classical learning mastery was known to reach (33.33%) with an average final test score students reached (65.95) and in the first cycle of classical learning completeness reached (75%) with an average final test score of students (74.2). From this information, it can be said that the project-based learning model can be applied to the Avatara and deva teaching materials and can increase learning motivation in Class VII semester I SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan.

Speech text is a form of one-way communication in the form of expressing thoughts and ideas from the speaker about something to many people. This classroom action research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan, in Class IX with 35 students. The procedure of this research is divided into two stages, namely the preparation stage and the research implementation stage. At the implementation stage, it is divided into several cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation/action, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, students still look confused with their assignments in class, this can be caused by the presentation method. With effort and students in the hope of increasing the achievement of better student learning outcomes. The results of the understanding of the first cycle have obtained a score of 131, meaning that students' understanding of the structure of the speech text was good, and the number of students who had completed learning was 28 while the average class of the first cycle was 75.79. learning material increased compared to the previous cycle so it can be said that students are increasingly understanding with the use of the presentation method by students. The results of the second cycle of understanding obtained a score of 174 which means that students' understanding of the structure of the speech text is very good, and the number of students who have completed learning is 35 while the average class of cycle II is 80.48.

In cycle I students still look confused with their assignments in class, this can be due to learning with computer media being a new thing and has not been applied before so the achievement of learning outcomes achieved by students is not optimal. With diligent effort and guidance, it is expected to increase students' understanding in the hope of increasing the achievement of better student learning outcomes. One of the factors that determine the success or failure of a person in learning is a factor that comes from within the person who is learning (internal). In the implementation of the second cycle of learning, the learning carried out by the teacher using the media-assisted presentation method, the power point-assisted presentation method, was better than the previous cycle and the explanation of the concept of the learning material could be understood by most students. The increase was due to the teacher's voice being able to be heard to the back, this could be influenced by the condition of the class that the teacher had mastered when the teacher delivered an explanation of the material. From the results of students' responses, students stated that they could understand what the media displayed. The results of the study: There was an increase in the percentage of the number of students who understood from the observations of 71.87% in the first cycle, 81.2% in the second cycle. The increased understanding of students affects the activeness of students to participate in the teaching and learning process.
