Abstract

Moringa latte is a modification of coffee and milk products which are usually made with coffee raw materials which in this study added Moringa leaf extract and milk. This study was conducted to determine the organoleptic quality characteristics, Fe content and antioxidant capacity in Moringa latte. The research design used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five treatments and three replications. The treatment of the substitution of slurry of moringa leaves with pineapple porridge given is P1 (0%: 100%), P2 (5%: 95%), P3 (10%: 90%), P4 (15%: 85%) and P5 (20 %: 80%). The results showed that the treatment of Moringa leaf extract substitution and milk in Moringa latte with different concentrations had a very significant effect on color, aroma, taste, texture, aroma quality, texture quality, Fe content, antioxidant capacity. while the overall reception does not have a real effect on Moringa latte. From the results of an objective analysis of the resulting Moringa leaf jam, Fe content ranged from 0.00-5.53 (mg / L), the antioxidant capacity was 0.00-14.02 mg / L GAEAC. Moringa latte with the substitution of 20% Moringa leaf extract concentration produces the best latte that is most preferred by panelists, both in terms of color, aroma, texture, taste, overall acceptance and aroma quality with Fe content of 5.53 (mg / L) and antioxidant capacity 14 , 02 mg / L GAEAC. Abstract

Anemia is a condition with lower blood hemoglobin levels than normal caused by iron deficiency. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between nutrition knowledge, consumption of iron, vitamin C and iron tablet with anemia status in female students of SMAN 1 Ubud, Gianyar. This research used observational with a cross sectional design. The samples in this study were 77 female students. Anemia status data was obtained from hemoglobin examination using the Hb meter method, consumption data measured by food recall 2 x 24 hours and nutrition knowledge used interview method with questionnaire. Data was analyzed using chi square. The results of the study 6 samples (7,8%) were anemic, 75 samples (97,4%) had consumption of iron in the category of deficits, 63 samples (81,8%) had consumption of vitamin C in the category of deficits, 64 samples (83,1%) did not take vitamin C supplements, 64 students (83,1%) did not take iron supplements, 72 samples (93.5%) did not take iron tablets and 50 samples (64,9%) had knowledge of nutrition in sufficient categories. Abstract

Diabetics tend to get hypertension. Blood pressure of diabetics needs to be controlled to avoid complications. DM management grouped into five pillars, namely food planning, physical exercise, education, pharmacological interventions, and independent blood sugar monitoring. One of the food plans is consume fruits and vegetables. Physical exercise for people with DM is DM gymnastics. It is important to keep blood pressure normal. The purpose of research is to find out the the correlation of fruit, vegetable consumption and DM gymnastics with blood pressure in the association of DM Puskesmas II Denpasar Barat. The type of research is observational with cross sectional design and using total sampling technic which totaling 35 samples. Data was collected by interview method and blood pressure measurement. The data is presented with frequency and cross tables then analyzed using the Spearman test. Based on the results, there is a significant correlation between fruit consumption with blood pressure of people with DM (p = 0,035, r = -0,358). There is a significant correlation between vegetable consumption with blood pressure of people with DM (p = 0,021, r = -0,388). There is a significant correlation between frequency of DM gymnastics with blood pressure of people with DM (p = 0,000, r = -0,578). There is a significant correlation between duration of DM gymnastics with blood pressure of people with DM (p = 0,012, r = -0,418).

Abstract

The nutritional status of pregnant women is one indicator in measuring the nutritional status of the community. If the input of nutrition for pregnant women from food is not balanced with the needs of the body there will be a deficiency of nutrients. Chronic energy deficiency can occur in women of childbearing age and in pregnant women. A person is said to suffer the risk of Chronic Energy Deficiency when the Upper Arm Circumference is 23.5 cm. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between individual factors and environmental factors that affect the lack of chronic energy (kek) in the Mengwi I Public Health Center. This type of research was observational with a cross-sectional design. The sample obtained was 57 pregnant women. Statistical tests using chi-square. Age of risky pregnant women is 7 people (12.3%). Low maternal education is 14 people (24.6%). The work of pregnant women who work is 37 people (64.9%). The family income of pregnant women UMR is 28 people (49.1%). There were 10 pregnant women (17.5%). Parity pregnant with a multipara category of 20 people (35.1%). Pregnant women with less attitudes as many as 26 people (45.6%). Pregnant women who behave less as many as 38 people (66.7%). Pregnant women with less family support are 29 people (50.9%). On all individual factor variables and environmental factors that affect the health of pregnant women p value α (p 0.05), which means there is no relationship between maternal age and mortality, education with income, employment with income, income with income, parity with kek, attitude with kek, and family support with kek.Keywords: Individual, Enviromental Factors, Chronic energy deficiency

Abstract

Over nutrition or obesity can have an impact on increasing blood pressure through a mechanism of increasing leptin levels, insulin resistance, increased levels of free fatty acids, and activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. This study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional status with blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and hemoglobin levels in middle school students in Denpasar City. This type of research is observational analytic using a cross-sectional design. The sample is 72 people. Data collected by anthropometric measurements, blood pressure measurements and checking hemoglobin levels. Data analysis uses Pearson product moment correlation test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and systolic blood pressure (p = 0.047), there was no significant relationship to nutritional status with diastolic blood pressure and hemoglobin levels with values (p = 0.091) and (p = 0.185).Keywords: nutritional status, blood pressure, hemoglobin, children

Abstract

The cause of the emergence of nutritional problems is nutrition knowledge that affects the level of consumption of nutrients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of nutrition and the level of consumption of macro nutrients with nutritional status of students at SMAN 1 Dawan, Klungkung Regency. This type of observational research was designed with sperman correlation and the number of samples was 88. Data was collected by interview method and anthropometric measurements. Data analysis using spearman correlation test. The results showed that most nutrition knowledge (65,91%) was sufficient. Most levels of energy consumption are severe deficits (92%). As much as (67,05%) the level of consumption of heavy protein deficits. The level of fat consumption is mostly (88,64%). The level of carbohydrate consumption is mostly (81,85%) heavy deficit. Most nutritional status (69,32%) is normal. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between knowledge of nutrition and nutritional status. There is a significant relationship between the level of consumption of macro nutrients (energy, protein, fat, carbohydrate) and nutritional status.
