<![CDATA[This research is a study related to the impact of modern market growth (Alfamart and Indomaret) on traditional markets (department stores) in the city of Pekanbaru. The theories and framework used in this research are the concept of development while the research method used is qualitative approach delivered by Jhon W. Creswell. Because of it, the expected results will be more comprehensive in relation to the impact of the existence of the modern market on traditional ones (waserda). Meanwhile, the objectives of this study are 1. Consistency of the government of Pekanbaru City on the Implementation of Regulation Number 9, 2014. 2. Perception of traditional market traders on the existence of modern markets. 3. The impact of the existence of a modern retail market (Alfamart and Indomaret) on the business of traditional traders of all-round stalls (waserda). 4. Efforts made by traditional market traders (waserda) to maintain the existence of their businesses. From the results obtained in this research, it is expected to be able to provide input and advice to the community, government and private sector on the impact of the existence of modern markets on traditional ones, and to make appropriate formulations in dealing with problems that occur. So that at the end between modern markets and traditional ones can grow and develope together and complement each other in Pekanbaru City.]]>

<![CDATA[This article review about the Industrial Revolution that occurred in the 18th century had an impact on the acceleration of natural destruction. Bald forest, river bribery, and so on indicate an unbalanced relationship between humans and the environment. The global crisis often leads to disasters such as landslides, floods, forest fires, droughts and more. Various damage that occurs is none other than because of human activities that treat nature arbitrarily. In fact, Islam teaches its people to always maintain and maintain the universe. Efforts to re-actualize the ethics of Islam to the environment can run optimally with some principles of environmental management taught in Islam. These principles are then used as the basis for tackling the current global crisis so that the balance between humans and the environment will be realized.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to: 1) find out the role of boarding school administrators in fostering the character of students in the disciplines of Pondok Thoriqul Huda Ponorogo; 2) Knowing the forms of character building for students in the disciplines of Pondok Thoriqul Huda Ponorogo.This research is a qualitative research. The primary data source is the head of the boarding school and the board of management of the Thoriqul Huda boarding school. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion.The results in this study can be seen that 1) the role of the board administrators in fostering the disciplinary character of students, namely: a) awakening students to perform congregational prayers at asr and dawn; b) guiding the students in carrying out activities in the Islamic Boarding School; c) discipline the students in the departure of the judiciary; d) impose sanctions on students who violate the rules of the order of the cottage; e) motivating students to study harder in Islamic boarding schools, while the role played by board administrators is an active role. Furthermore, the results of the second research) form the formation of students' disciplinary character through a participatory approach, the form of guidance is divided into two, namely: a) socialization of the rules of the boarding school when students register at the cottage witnessed by parents; b) routine or programmed socialization once a month precisely on the fourth week or called yaumul reckoning for the students]]>

<![CDATA[Literary work is a profound expression of the soul of a writer to describe the existence of his identity. It is not uncommon for a person to express his creative ideas in the literary verses as a symbol of the author to show that his condition is as stated in his work. Also included in the Serat Gatholoco , it is clear that the author is likely to experience one side of his life that is left out. By using imaginary characters he can show his identity. Serat Gatholoco deserves to be studied in scientific research, in this case, researchers use postcolonial studies with qualitative research types. While the primary data in this study are words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs contained in Serat Gatholoco by Damar Shashangka. The results of this study concluded that in the Serat Case of New Java Literature is loaded with a charge of rebellion due to the arbitrary actions of the superordinate group to the others (liyan) which he considers subordinate. Serat Gatholoco is a reflection of the disgust of those who continually see rigidity in religious life. So those various strategies are used to reverse the binary opposition so that their existence is maintained.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this paper is to examine and identify the problems that are the source of conflict over local elections in Talaga Raya District. This research focuses on conflicts that occur before and after local elections. By using a descriptive method and a case study approach, the results of the study showed that the conflict over the regional head election in Talaga Raya District originated from the Difference in Choice, Misunderstanding, Some Parties were disadvantaged and feeling sensitive. In addition, the conflict of local election which took place before and after the election had implications for the conflict over the control of fresh water sources which resulted in horizontal and vertical conflicts. Besides this conflict has also brought its own wisdom with the increase in the source of clean water which had only been one to three sources. Based on these results it can be said that besides bringing down the negative impacts of the conflict it can also bring down positive impacts in the Talaga Raya sub-district community. Therefore, in terms of conflict resolution, the government should be able to minimize the conflict as early as possible so it does not drag on so that it does not lead to physical conflict.]]>

<![CDATA[Identity politics is a response to political behaviour by a person or group of people who share an identity, such as ethnicity, religion, culture, and gender. Identity politics is also often related to discourse (issue, language, imagery, or other communication expressions) to be used as one of the instruments for the political elite, which is usually done in the electoral arena. Identity politics always emphasizes the interests of its group, in the political identity of tribes and ethnicity to be an important role as a symbol of culture that has its own potential and gives strength in conducting political action. Using a qualitative analytical approach, this paper tried to see the position of one of the Islamic-based community organizations in the election governor and deputy governor of Central Java. The association between NU as a religious social organization with the process and political reality is happening. This paper essentially shows that Islamic Community organizations has evolved into a religious social organization that has increasingly dynamic and open political minds and attitudes. But NU's political position is culturally welcome NU citizens to be active in any practical political activity but NU insists that it does not reflect the NU movement institutionally an individual movement.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to develop a strategy for the practice of permission to practice a doctor at the Office of Investment and Integrated Services One Door (DPMPTSP) Pekanbaru City. This type of research is using descriptive research type with a qualitative method using the SWOT analysis instrument to obtain answers whether it influences the doctor practice permit service strategy at the Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) Pekanbaru City. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data relating to this research. Sources of data in the study were respondents who provided information related to this study, namely the Head of the Management Division of doctor and employee practice licenses as well as doctors who administered the doctor's practice permit. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The sampling technique is census for employees and purposive sampling for doctor respondents. The strategy that must be carried out by Pekanbaru City DPMPTSP is maximizing employee utilization, innovating in the field of public services, showing commitment to work, improving service quality, providing education and training to employees, providing motivation, strengthening coordination and communication, utilizing technological developments and and so on, where the aim is maximum service to the community specifically to the doctor's practice permit service.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to elaborate the history, characteristic, and dynamics of Radical Islam group in Indonesia. Post New Order era has opened political opportunity for radical Islam group to colour the Islamic and political dynamics in Indonesia. This study concluded that radicalism teaching was not something new in Islamic history. Radical Islam group could flourish due to the political openness milieu post New Order Era as well as the infiltration of radical Islam teaching rooted in Middle East into Indonesian Islam. To anticipate the strengthening of Radical Islam group influence in Indonesia, the collaboration between the state and the populace are highly needed.]]>
