Abstract

This article has some purposes; they are: first, a description of the about theoretical study of a theological practice approach; secondly, explained an implication theological practice approach to the Christian religion education foundation; and thirdly, described a religion studies foundation of Christians in theological practice approach. The method used in this article is an analysis-descriptive of literature available related to the problem that discussed. This research concluded that a practical approach theological in education foundation the Christian religion came into existence from the application of the truth in the life of that can be used with confidence as cornerstones biblical, and search for clues definitive from general principles offered by theology.AbstrakTulisan ini memiliki beberapa tujuan, yaitu: pertama, mendeskripsikan kajian teoretis pendekatan praksis teologis; kedua, menjelaskan implikasi praksis-teologis fondasi pendidikan Agama Kristen. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif terhadap kajian pustaka yang berkaitan dengan tema fondasi Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Penelitian ini memiliki kesimpulan bahwa pendekatan praktis teologis dalam fondasi pendidikan agama Kristen terwujud dari penerapan kebenaran ke dalam kehidupan yang bisa digunakan dengan percaya diri sebagai fondasi Alkitabiah, dan mencari petunjuk definitif dari prinsip-prinsip umum yang ditawarkan oleh teologi.

Abstract

Pastoral care ministry persists in the minister's concept as the sole actor of pastoral ministry in the church. On the other hand, there has been growing awareness that pastoral care ministry also gives space to members of the congregation to presenting the pastoral care ministry in context. In these persist circumstances, questions arise is how do pastoral care ministry gives space to members? Can the paradigm be expanded by taking into account the communal context? What kind of model does it produce? With the development of a communal-contextual paradigm in pastoral theology began to raise awareness of expanding that understanding. In addition, contemporary pastoral theologians show that there has been a paradigm shift in pastoral ministry with communal nuance; however, the ministry also gives space to the members of the congregation in practice. My aim is to construct the concept and model of pastoral care ministry with the community within the framework of communal-contextual paradigm.AbstrakDiskusi pelayanan pastoral dalam teologi pastoral bertahan dalam konsep pendeta sebagai aktor tunggal pelayanan tersebut di dalam gereja hampir tiga dekade belakangan ini. Padahal, di sisi yang lain, sudah muncul dan berkembang paradigma bahwa pelayanan pastoral juga tentang pemberian ruang terhadap anggota jemaat secara umum yang hadir dalam pelayanan pendeta dalam konteksnya. Di dalam keadaan ini, muncullah pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang apakah pelayanan pastoral hanya merupakan tugas seorang pendeta? Dapatkah paradigma tersebut diperluas dengan memperhatikan konteks pelayanan yang nilai komunalitasnya tinggi? Seperti apa model yang dihasilkannya? Dengan berkembangnya paradigma komunal-kontekstual dalam pelayanan pastoral mulai muncul kesadaran memperluas pemahaman itu. Di tambah lagi, pemikiran teolog pastoral kontemporer baik dari Indonesia dan Barat juga menunjukkan bahwa telah ada pergeseran paradigma tentang pelayanan pastoral yang bernuansa komunalitas di dalam suatu konteks, sehingga pelayanan tersebut juga memposisikan anggota jemaat secara umum. Penelitian ini berupaya menawarkan konsep dan model pelayanan pastoral yang kontekstual dengan menempatkan partisipasi komunitas guna memberi warna lain bagi pelayanan pastoral yang selama ini bertahan.

Abstract

AbstractThe separation of Paul and Barnabas in Acts 15 is often used as a ground of foundation for the occurrence of separation or precisely, division, in the church and ministry. This article attempts to review the root causes of the conflict between Paul and Barnabas as a reflection for the church in dealing with and managing conflict. The separation of Paul and Barnabas as a biblical foundation for supporting church division/service for the noble purpose of evangelism is not right and out of biblical paradigm. The ongoing conflict between Paul and Barnabas was not a conflict that gave rise to hostility, rivalry or an attitude of attack as the phenomenon commonly encountered in church or ministry. The separation of Paul and Barnabas is a strategic decision that results in expanding the range of the spread of the gospel of Christ.AbstrakPerpisahan Paulus dan Barnabas di dalam Kisah Para Rasul 15 sering menjadi alasan bagi terjadinya permisahan, atau tepatnya perpecahan, di dalam gereja dan pelayanan. Artikel ini mengulas akar masalah konflik Paulus dan Barnabas sebagai refleksi bagi gereja dalam menghadapi dan mengelola konflik yang mengarah pada perpecahan. Menggunakan perpisahan Paulus dan Barnabas sebagai patron alkitabiah untuk mendukung perpecahan gereja atau pelayanan dengan alasan demi pekabaran Injil, rasanya kuranglah tepat. Konflik yang berlangsung antara Paulus dan Barnabas bukanlah konflik yang melahirkan sikap permusuhan, persaingan atau sikap saling serang sebagaimana fenomena yang umum ditemui di dalam perpecahan gereja/pelayanan. Perpisahan Paulus dan Barnabas adalah sebuah keputusan strategis yang menghasilkan perluasan jangkauan penyebaran Injil Kristus.

Abstract

Great comission is a mandate that Jesus gave to His disciples before He ascent to the heaven. This mandate has often been implemented to be a mere act of evangelization, how to make people believe in Jesus for their salvation sake. The world where church lived today has changed by applying advanced technology in all human life aspect, for generally called the era of digitalization. There were some different challenges and needs of todays church with the early church who received that mandate in the first century. Thus this is an article aimed to explain how to actualize a great commission according to Matthew 28:19-20 in a different world today, which called the era of digital. This article used a qualitative method with an analytical approach to the text of Matthew 28:19-20, and a descriptive of the era of digital today as a context of actualizing that great commission. As a conclusion, the church ought to apply the advanced technology with digitization to reach out people in the world where unreached yet.AbstrakAmanat agung merupakan sebuah mandat yang Yesus berikan kepada murid-murid-Nya sebelum Ia naik ke surga. Perintah ini sering diimplementasikan dengan sekadar tindakan penginjilan, bagaimana membuat orang menjadi percaya Yesus demi keselamatannya. Dunia di mana gereja hidup sekarang telah berubah oleh karena kemajuan teknolgi yang merambah seluruh aspek hidup manusia, yang biasa disebut dengan era digitalisasi. Oleh sebab itu ada perbedaan tantangan dan kebutuhan yang dialami oleh gereja sekarang dengan gereja mula-mula di abad pertama. Maka dengan demikian, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana mengaktualisasikan amanat agung dalam Matius 28:19-20 dalam konteks dunia di era digital. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis atas teks Matius 28:19-20, dan deskriptif atas konsep dunia di era digital sebagai konteks untuk mengaktualisasikan amanat agung tersebut. Sebagai kesimpulan, gereja harus mengaplikasikan kemajuan teknologi digitalnya untuk menjangkau orang-orang yang selama ini belum terjangkau.

Abstract

Teacher modeling in carrying out church mission is very important. The teacher as a spiritual leader is crucial for success or failure ministry in spiritual educational, as well as education in all life fields. All educational institutions require theachers not only to be good at teaching but also as role models, as well as in Sundy school education in the church there needs to be a model teacher. The Gospel of Matthew gives an example that Jesus is the example of creative teacher. Specially the verb of didasko (teaching) with various forms used nine times to describe the activity of Jesus as a teacher. The activity of Jesus is more often informed by the word teaching (didasko = teaching) rather than the verb of preaching (kerusso = preaching). That Is why Jesus called the Teacher as a creative teacher, the teaching methods used by Jesus are not monotonous but varies according to the place, circumstance and needs of His students or listeners. The purpose of this research is to describe the example of Jesus as a teacher according to Matthew, to describe the extent of the exemplary teachers of Sunday School of the GPdI “Bethesda” Merauke Papua to recommend the application of Jesus example as a teacher based on the Gospel of Matthew for Sunday School teachers in the GPdi Church. This research uses a qualitative approach; research paradigm, theological phenomenology, because it uses the interpretation of the text in the context of the Gospel of Matthew as a theoretical basis. Data source from 44 participants of Sunday School teachers in GPdI “Bethesda” Merauke. Methods and techniques of collecting interview data. Data analysis using the theory of Miles and Huberman. Conclusion: The Gospel of Matthew shows Jesus as the best teacher and can be emulated by all Sunday School teachers, example: in terms of His caling to receive a vision to serve, carry out a mission as a teacher, understand His purpose to serve in His personality is characterized, have integrity, charismatic, to be responsible, positive thinking, have ethos, nice worl, confidence, extensive knowledge, pull yourself together. In His spirituality includes centering on God, living in prayer, living righteously, living holy. In the professionalism of His ministry that is focused on goals and tasks, understanding children’s psychology, mastering teaching materials, skillful planning, skillful carrying out, skillful evaluating, skillful assessing as a communicator, as a facilitator. Having the ability to serve children is a thing, very important and can not be ignored because children are. The assets of the church and the next generation of God’s church. Therefore the role of a teacher in serving Sunday School children must be an important concern in a pastoral hearing, because church leaders and teachers have a great responsibility for the growth of faith in Sunday School children.
