Abstract

Diarrhea is a change in stool consistency of fases and an increased frequency during bowel movements. Someone is said to have diarrhea if the stool is loose or runny, if you defecate in a day three or more times within 24 hours. Diarrhea can cause morbidity and mortality rates. So with this, the Puskesmas will carry out the initial handling of diarrhea in children by providing an Oralit Corner in the Puskesmas waiting room. Improper handling and treatment of diarrhea can lead to serious dehydration problems. The provision of an Oralit corner is one of the efforts made by the Puskesmas TogoTogo (Public Health Center). With the Oralit corner, it is very useful to prevent dehydration in children who suffer from diarrhea thus it is necessary to continuously monitor the storage, distribution and supply of Oralit.

Abstract

Briefing dapat memberikan motivasi kepada stafnya agar bisa menjadi lebih hebat untuk menuntaskan tugas serta bisa lebih bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas-tugasnya. Dengan adanya seorang pemimpin yang memiliki kemampuan untuk memadukan seluruh potensi pegawai yang dipimpinnya dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja pegawainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh briefing terhadap kinerja petugas kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Benyamin Guluh Kolaka. Penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah petugas kesehatan dengan sampel sebesar 80 petugas kesehatan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Sistematis Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil uji dengan Mc Nemar angka signifikan menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan kinerja sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan briefing. Ada pengaruh briefing terhadap kinerja petugas kesehatan di Badan Layanan Umum Daerah Rumah Sakit Benyamin Guluh Kabupaten Kolaka.

Abstract

AbstractNoodles is one of the foods favored by the people of Indonesia and economical and practical, so it is necessary to processing alternatives that qualify nutritionally with the addition of fiber from cassava leaves. This study aims to find out the acceptableness, elasticity, iron content, protein, fiber and hydrogen cyanide. This type of research is an experiment that is the manufacture of noodles using the addition of cassava leaves (15%, 30% and 50%) then conducted an analysis of protein, iron, fiber using gravimetry, analysis of hydrogen cyanide levels using volumetri with tools - ingredients are scales, sieves, molds, measuring cups, filters, wheat flour, egg whites, garlic, cassava leaves and salt. The results of the research from the preferred hedonic aspect are a concentration of 15%. Noodles with cassava leaves concentration of 15% have the elasticity value closest to wet noodles without cassava leaves which is 3.3 cm with medium category, the highest iron content with cassava leaves concentration of 50% as much as 0.5 mg / 100 grams, the highest fiber content as much as 9.67 grams per 100 grams, the highest HCN content as much as 15.7 mg per 100 grams, the highest protein content of noodles with cassava leaves concentration of 15% obtained as much as 8,222 grams / 100 grams. In conclusion, preferred acceptableness and elasticity as well as the highest protein content with 15% cassava leaves, the highest iron, fiber and HCN levels with a concentration of 50%.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a metabolic disease that requires long-term therapy and can not be cured completely, resulting in the quality of life. Objective: The aims of the study to the effect of combination therapy of insulin – metformin on life quality of diabetes mellitus patient in type 2 endocrine polyclinic of Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital by using parameters of fasting blood glucose levels, blood glucose and A1C. Method: This study used a descriptive analysis design with cross sectional approach. The data is obtained concurrently with theinterviews and questionnaires and medical records of patients. Results: Based on the chi-square insulin–metformin combination therapy affect fasting blood glucose level (p value = 0.016) and A1C (p value = 0.026) significantly. Conclusion: The use of single insulin combination therapy with metformin (p value = 0.025) indicated improved quality of life.
