Abstract

The development of information technology, especially the technology that exists on smartphones is very large, so many people have smartphones, with the existing smartphones at this time it can be used for various things, one of which is the determination of study programs for prospective new students. The selection of study programs that are permanent and in accordance with their abilities is one way for students to be able to complete their studies at universities. Many students are confused and careless in choosing a study program. There are also those who choose a study program only to go along with their friends so that during the lecture process there are many obstacles to achieve a bachelor's degree, even having to take education until the end of the study period. Multi Criteria Decision Making is one of the ways that can be used to help prospective students based on their own abilities, especially since the program is made specifically for Android-based Smartphones. Thus, prospective students can try to choose the best based on the values that match the criteria determined by the desired study program without being embarrassed to know whether to be accepted in the chosen study program or not. The use of the Android platform is because almost everyone now has an Android-based smartphone so that applications can be downloaded for free on the Play Store.

Abstract

A visual guidance display is a module that was created to assist the pilot task when parking his plane or helping to control aircraft parking at the airport. Up to now, the pilot task is still assisted by a parking attendant (Marshaller) whose aim is to guide the movement of the aircraft to the parking lot. So, a practicum module was made as a medium of learning and knowledge along with the use of alternative technology. This module uses a Visual Guidance Display (automatic aircraft parking aid). This module design uses 3 32x8 pixel dot matrix display boards with dimensions of 13x3.5 cm which are combined into one to form an appropriate combination to produce a parking direction display. The display used is a super right led dot matrix. The controller is an ESP32 microcontroller and a series of shift registers to display the right, left, straight, and stop motion views as well as the distance display of the aircraft to the parking stop point on the apron.

Abstract

Badminton is a game that uses a shuttlecock as a tool which is played by hitting it with a racket. One form of exercise that is most often applied in training leg muscle strength is shadow training. This exercise aims to simulate athletes to do footwork properly and correctly. Shadow training is an exercise to train leg muscle strength and leg agility. Usually athletes when training leg muscles and leg agility use shadow exercises manually, namely by moving the shuttlecock or cone from one side to the other with instructions from the trainer. client and server applications. The connection between the client application and the server application uses a wifi network. The server application can control the light on the client application. There were tests by players on the badminton court which were carried out as many as 20 trials with a time of 30 seconds for each trial; the results obtained with the sequential method obtained an average of 5.84 muscle exercises, with the random method obtained an average of 5.9 times muscle training, with the method determined by the system the average time was 30.12 seconds.

Abstract

Currently the development of Uncrewed Aircraft is experiencing a very rapid increase. This is demonstrated by the large number of use of Unmanned Aircraft in several sectors, one of which is for monitoring traffic density. On this mission the aircraft will carry a payload in the form of a camera used to record or display the existing traffic situation. This mission requires aircraft with good stability capabilities so as to be able to provide good monitoring results. So it is necessary to analyze the static stability in longitudinal, lateral and directional motion. Static stability simulation was carried out with the help of XLFR5 software. The simulation results are then compared with the parameters that are a requirement for longitudinal, lateral, and directional static stability.

Abstract

The volume of digital documents available online is growing exponentially due to the increasing use of the internet. Categorization of information obtained online is needed to make it easier for recipients of information to determine and filter which information is needed. Classification of web pages can be based on titles and descriptions, which are text data that can be done by utilizing deep learning technology for text classification. This study aimed to conduct data training and analysis experiments to determine the accuracy of the proposed deep learning architecture in classifying web page titles and descriptions. In this research, we proposed a Convolution Neural Network (CNN) architecture that generates few parameters. The training and evaluation set was conducted on the web page dataset provided by DMOZ. As a result, the proposed CNN architecture with the number of N (Dropout + 1D Convolution + ReLU activation) equal to 1 achieves the best validation accuracy. It achieves 79.51% with only generates 825,061 parameters. The proposed CNN architecture achieved outperformed performance on the accuracy of the five other technologies in the state-of-the-art.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is an infectious virus caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus, which has caused a global pandemic. The global pandemic is declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11th, 2020. Until late of April 2022, Covid-19 has caused the death of the total of more than 6 million people, and in Indonesia alone it has caused more than 150 thousand of death. The pandemic does not only impact health area, but also economy, politics, cultures, etc. In order to end the pandemic, WHO has sets out standard policies to be implemented, including by Indonesian government. Besides, each local goverment in Indonesia has also their own policies and regulations, including the government of Bali Province, for example the Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement or CARE (Indonesian: Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat, commonly referred to as the PPKM), improvement in health care facilities and services, and also isolation policy for the people whom are infected by SARS-CoV-2 virus. To prevent the increase in death, Bali Province's COVID-19 Handling Task Force along with the district and city governments have prepared a centralized isolation policy and facilities for those whom are found to be Covid-19 positive without having any symptoms and for those with mild symtomps. This research has been conducted in order to get the public sentiment about this centralized isolation policy in Bali Province by using Tweet data from Twitter social media, based on Naive Bayes classification. From the experiments, the results of data Tweet classifications have accuracy more than 90%, which have shown that the public opinion is neutral. The results also mean that there is no contradition found in the application of centralized isolation policy in the province of Bali-Indonesia.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a technique of cultivating plants without using soil media, but using water as a planting medium. Important factors that must be considered in hydroponic plants are plant nutrition, water, temperature, and light intensity. These factors are necessary for hydroponic plants for the growth and reproduction of hydroponic plants. Due to the nutritional needs of hydroponic plants, farmers must take the time to check the concentration of nutrients in hydroponic plants so that the plants can grow well. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new methods of hydroponic farming so that they can grow and develop properly, which can be controlled and monitored automatically. Thus, farmers no longer need to come to agricultural locations. One of the technologies used is technology with the Internet of Things (IoT). This study uses a prototype methodology. For the plant sample used is the lettuce plant. The microcontroller is used as the main controller of all IoT components while the sensors used are the TDS sensor, temperature sensor and light intensity sensor. The research that has been done is IoT technology on hydroponic plants that can monitor and automate plant nutrition settings that are personalized to the needs of hydroponic plants. From the results of testing the IoT tool by reading data from the light intensity and temperature sensors, there is a link between the UV light intensity produced and the water temperature in the hydroponic plant reservoir, that is, the higher the UV light intensity, the higher the water temperature and vice versa. In addition, the other factors are weather and climate conditions around hydroponic plants. IoT data is stored in cloud storage which requires a rental fee.
