The ettawa crossbreed goat is a crossbreed goat between etawa goats from India and native Indonesian goats. The quantitative nature of the body in livestock is very important to know because it can predict the ability in productivity. This research was conducted at the Goat Farming Group P4S Agribusiness Assalam Indihiang Tasikmalaya Regency. The study aims to determine the quantitative nature that includes body length, chest circumference, and height in etawa crossbreed goats in the lactation period 2 and 3. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with the object of etawa crossbreed goat research in the lactation period 2 and 3. The results show that in the lactation period 2 obtained an average body length of 78 cm coefficient of variation 0.090%, chest circumference 93.25 cm coefficient of variation 0.049%, and height 57.5 cm coefficient of variation 0.012%, on lactation 3 an average body length of 75, 83 cm coefficient of variation 0.05%, chest circumference 93 cm coefficient of variation 0.028%, height 57.53 cm coefficient of variation 0.012%. The conclusion states that the body size characteristics of dairy goats in the lactation periods 2 and 3 are in accordance with the existing Indonesian National Standards (SNI).

Fasciolosis is a strategic parasitic disease that can reduce productivity in cattle and dairy. Papaya seeds are medicinal herbs used as anthemeltics. In general, herbal medicine takes a long time to cure. The purpose of this paper is to provide a study of the combination of laserpunktur technology and papaya seed extract as a potential therapy for fasciolosis in cattle. Papaya seed extract as a natural anthemeltic works synergistically with laserpunktur technology which will provide energy stimulation to the gastrointestinal organs and liver of cattle infected with fasciolosis. The synergy of papaya seed extract increases the metabolism of the drug in the liver more smoothly so that the drug is able to eliminate Fasciola sp. maximally. The writing method is the study of literature combined with ideas in the form of laserpunktur technology. The parameters of successful administration of papaya seed extract in fasciolosis patients are in terms of the number of worm eggs per gram of stool, average weight gain, and body condition score (BCS). The laserpunktur method is performed at points ST-36 (Sao-San-Li), CV-4 (Guan-Yuan), LIV-3 (Tai-Chong) with a single irradiation wave size of 1 joule / point. The distance between the laserpunktur machine and cowhide is 10 cm. The duration of laserpunktur therapy is 2 x 30 minutes / week. The combination of laserpunktur and papaya seed extract as a therapy allows the acceleration of healing time of fasciolosis in cattle. The combination of laserpunktur technology and papaya seed extract is expected to be an innovative therapeutic treatment of fasciolosis in effective cows.

Broiler chickens are easily to be inffected by disease and bring some disadvantages because of the effect from attacking diseases the health of broiler farms is affected the environment. The existence of health management and control of broiler chicken disease in Din Dahlan Ranch, Seri Kembang III Village, Payaraman District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The purposes of this study are to observe and study the management of disease control, especially in the field of broiler farms. This research was carried out for 2 months by collecting data directly to the research location of the owner of Din Dahlan ranch and distributing questionnaires. The result is showed that Din Dahlan Farms implemented a vaccination program, provision of medicines, aspects of biosecurity and sanitation in broiler chickens. So that this research shows that the Health Management and Control of Broiler Chickens in Din Dahlan Farms is already good.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level pemberian starter jerami jagung dan legum Indigofera zollingeriana terhadap nilai nutrisi sebagai pakan ternak ruminansia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pakan Ternak Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Musi Rawas Lubuklinggau Timur I Sumatra Selatan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan Maret 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang disusun secara nonfaktorial. Adapun perlakuan dari penelitian ini J0 : Tampa Starter, J1 : Starter 1%, J2 : 2%, J3 : Starter 3%, J4 : Starter 4%, J5 : Starter 5%. Dari hasil analisis data secara statistik diketahui bahwa Pemberian Level Starter pada Kombinasi Silase Jerami Jagung dan Legum Indigofera zollingeriana terhadap Nilai Nutrisi Pakan Ternak Ruminansia Kecil pada level 3% berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap derajat keasaman (pH) dan serat kasar (SK), dan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap Protein Kasar (PK). Feed is an important aspect in livestock business. Its role can reach 60-70% of the total production cost so that the use of alternative feed ingredients based on local resources needs to be increased. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of dried tofu dregs in the ration on the performa of starter Tegal male ducks. The research method used is an experimental method. The duck maintenance process lasts for 2 months. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. Each test consisted of 4 ducks. The treatments consisted of: P0 = 100% ration, P1 = 90% ration + 10% Dry Tofu Dregs, P2 = 80% Ration + 20% Dry Tofu Dregs, P3 = 70% Ration + 30% Dry Tofu Dregs, P4 = 60% Ration + 40% Dry Tofu Dregs, P5 = 50% Ration + 50% Dry Tofu Dregs. Observed variables: Feed Intake, body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance and Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the treatment of the use of dried tofu waste in the ration had a significant effect (P <0.05) on feed intake, and did not significantly affect (P> 0.05) on body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality. The conclusion from this study the P3 treatment showed an indication that the performa of Tegal ducks was relatively better than other treatments.

The massive influence of globalization raises demands in many ways, including agriculture. This widespread aspect in Indonesia, which is touted as an agrarian country, is related to the production, distribution and processing of agricultural products. The combination of entrepreneurship that manages agriculture is expected to be able to bring Indonesia to become a more developed country and able to rise from adversity. Previously agriculture was only interpreted in a narrow scope. Now that perspective has changed where previously agriculture only produced primary production of plants and plants, but now agriculture also has the potential as a business. A new perspective opens the horizon of natural resource potential as a path of economic growth that is in line with industrialization in the agricultural sector (agro-industrialization). Creativity and innovation in agribusiness is a must so that the products produced always have a place in the eyes of consumers and provide optimal added value for the actors involved in it.

Andaliman adalah sumbernya senyawa polifenolat, monoterpen dan seskuiterpen, serta kuinon. Selain itu dalam andaliman juga terdapat kandungan minyak atsiri seperti geraniol, linalool, cineol, dan citronellal yang menimbulkan kombinasi bau mint dan lemon. Sehingga jika dimakan meninggalkan efek menggetarkan alat pengecap dan menyebabkan lidah terasa kebal. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di kandang percobaan Mix Farming Exprience Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan kota Padangsidimpuan, selama tiga puluh lima (35) hari mulai dari bulan Juli 2019 sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan andaliman (Zanfoxulum Achantopodium Dc) pada ransum terhadap performa broiler. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan jumlah perlakuan 5 dan ulangan 4. Susunan perlakuan ransum yang diberikan yaitu P0 (ransum komersil), P1 (ransum basal), P2 (ransum basal dan tepung andaliman sebanyak 0.2 5%), P3 (ransum basal + tepung andaliman sebanyak 0.5 %), P4 (ransum basal + tepung andaliman sebanyak 0.75 %). Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengunaan tepung andaliman berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi ransum, dan konversi ransum.

The research aims to determine :1 management of palm oil plantation,2) income earned by oil palm farmers. The research was conduced on august to September 2017 on Tulang Bawang distric. The research was conduced on august to September 2017 on Tulang Bawang distric.. The samples are taken from one hundred fiftytwo farmers who take seventysix self-help palm oil farmers and seventysix plasma oil palm farmers with proportional random sampling. Analyzing the management of oil palm was used descriptive analysis. Supply chain analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research indicate that: plasma farmer's income is greater than self-help farmers because the smallholders of the plantation management business are managed by the company well with the payment system of cooperation that has been set so plasma farmers have a certainty in obtaining the results of the agreement with the company.

Research on Urea substitution by Azolla is very much needed, because Azolla is expected to be able to reduce the use of urea dose without reducing plant growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving substitution of Urea by Azolla on the growth of the Perkutut cultivar mung bean plant in Kotabumi. The treatment design was arranged in a single unstructured factor design, and the experimental design was in a completely randomized group design (RKTS) with 4 replications per treatment. The similarity between treatments was tested with the Bartlett Test, and to test the addition of the model was tested with the Tukey Test. If both of these assumptions are met, then the analysis of variance and the separation of mean values are continued using the Least Significant Difference test (BNT) at the 5% level. The treatment substitution used is P0 = control; P1 = 0% Azolla + 100% Urea; P2 = 20% Azolla + 80% Urea; P3 = 40% Azolla + 60% Urea; P4 = 60% Azolla + 40% Urea; P5 = 80% Azolla + 20% Urea; P6 = 100% Azolla + 0% Urea. The results showed that the fertilizer substitution treatment P3 = 40% Azolla + 60% Urea was able to increase the growth of mung bean cultivar plants which did not differ in growth when treated with P1 = 0% Azolla + 100% Urea.
