Abstract

Unified Modeling Language (UML) is one of the important materials in the analysis and design of information systems. UML is used in designing or modeling the system. UML has some form of diagram that is grouped in several aspects based on a different view. Forms of the diagram are illustrated by different functions and notations. This makes UML difficult to understand considering that time in the classroom is very limited. Therefore, it is necessary to design a learning aid based Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI). Interactive application interface helps students understand the learning materials. Students can learn independently wherever and whenever they need. The results of this study can be utilized for the development of teaching materials, especially about modeling the system with UML. Keywords: Learning, Computer Assisted Instruction, Unified Modeling Language

Abstract

Currently, Customer Relationship Management underwent a paradigm shift from a single channel relationship (organizational-to-customer relationship) to multi channels of relationships (customer-organization-organization customer- machines) with an emphasis on integration and collaboration. The relatively recent development of Information and Communication Technology, particularly in smartphones and big data applications, has been a key driver of this paradigm shift. Mobile Customer Relationship Management (mCRM) system is one of the latest advances in this CRM system. Mobile CRM promotes customer satisfaction through mobile media, especially in banking. In the context of mCRM, the presence of m-banking applications, contributes to improving and maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to determine whether the use of mobile banking is an easy and effective way as a strategic tool mobile CRM system to communicate with customers. This research uses quantitative research approach and literature study from previous research. A self-administered questionnaire using Likert scale was developed and tested. The results prove that the use of mBanking on mCRM is an effective strategy that will improve customer satisfaction and improve the level of trust and customer satisfaction through the provision of mobile communications marketing services better. Keywords: mobile banking, customer relationship management, mobile CRM

Abstract

Printed documents such as diplomas and transcripts are very easy to do by imitating the form and content of the document. Such fraudulent practices are often passed from the monitoring of the authorities, this is because the agency's diploma checking system still uses manual methods. FTK UINAR, where the legalized certification checking system still uses manual way, so it is possible for irresponsible people to cheat such as forgery of diploma. Based on the problem, required an alternative system that can provide solutions to the problem. The system is a web based system and provide a computerized legalization service. Quick Response (QR) code will be used to facilitate verification of authenticity of the diploma for the institution of diploma user. The development methods that use in this research is prototype method. The result of the research is in the form of online legal certification system system by utilizing QR Code as the service system of alumni for legalizing diploma and transcript, which consists of database design and system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), as well as the design of the legalized system based diploma online.Keywords: The legalized, Quick Response (QR) Code, Unified Modeling Language (UML), prototype method.

Abstract

Instrument of lecturing is an important component in teaching and learning process in college. The condition of the lecture instrument was absolutely essential for supervision process and maintenance to ensure every inventory works well and available to support teaching and learning processes, both in the classroom and computer labs. The inventory control process should be done at any time and can speed up the handling process for inventory improvements. The purpose of this research is to utilize lecture instrument data to create UML model and develop electronic inventory system application design (e-inventory) of lecture instrument that will be utilized for recording lecture instrument inventory using PIECES Framework analysis. Application of PIECES Framework in application development is intended to maximize performance, maximize data and information, has economic value, efficient, easy to control and give the best service. This research will produce an e-Inventory Lecture Instrument System. The application has been tested to the academic and computer lab administrators for their ability to inventory the lecture instrument. The results of this study can be developed by adding supporting facilities in accordance with the standard of the lecture instrument so that it can be applied in many colleges. Keywords: e-inventory, PIECES, UML, Lecture Instrument, Code Igniter

Abstract

In some parts of the education system, there are teaching and learning activities involving students and lecturers. And when doing some teaching and learning activities, some progress of student learning occurred which are grades obtained from the student’s examination. Presently, the student’s grades are processed conventionally which is done by each lecturer manually using pen, paper and a calculator. Thus, the Department will have difficulties managing the student’s grades given by the lecturer and the results will not be optimal either.  If done manually, the lecturer must calculate the grade for each student one at a time. Moreover, students will have to wait for a long time finding out for their grades. It will take a long time and requires high precision for accurate calculations if the student’s grades processed manually. A PIECES Analysis, which is analyzing performance, information, economics, applications, and services, is used in analyzing student information system of the Information System Department STTH-Medan. The purpose of this study is to find out the data processing system and the data needed for developing STTH-Medan Information System. Abstract

This study attempts to apply based program as a means of interactive mobile link between students with the national examination, at the school. The implementation of national exam junior high school in Medan especially the National Examination Based a Computer (NEBC) are still in a bad condition, because the implementation of infrastructure NEBC facilities have not been accepted, the facts just a few schools that had facilities able to NEBC participates and most schools use the National Exam Paper Pencils (NEPP). Information technology very important as the expansion of learning opportunities and the community information in Indonesia. This research uses mobile technology is an information and communication technology that can be used in the world of Indonesian education. Abstract

The use and application of Information Technology (IT) at the hospital has been widely applied. However, the interoperability, an ability to exchange patient information between the information systems, is limited. During its development in the health field, the data exchange standard of the Health Level 7 (HL7) becomes one of the most widely used approaches in the world. It is likely to be true that in this globalization era, the patient information exchange can be conducted between hospitals from different countries. Therefore, this study proposes steps to analyze the potential of the interoperability hospital information system in applying the data exchange standard of HL7 which, according to the literature review found by the researcher, almost all of the research related to data exchange in the hospital employs web service and XML methods. The steps conducted in this research include: studying the mapping between the availability of the field in the proprietary information system and the element of the messages structure of HL7; identifying and analyzing each field and element so that the potential of the mapping result can be found and the data richness of the messages structure of HL7 can be calculated; and trying out step which is conducted in one of the hospitals in Yogyakarta. Abstract

Mental Hospital of Tampan is the Pekanbaru City Government Agency which deals with health and psychiatric problems, such as excessive stress, psychiatric disorders, services to people with HIV / AIDS and the service of child development. The mental hospital of Tampan has a large drug supply system with different specifications in the pharmacy department. However, in the process of drug supply, there are still obstacles, namely recording drug supplies and managing transaction data, still using ledgers. In addition, employees often make mistakes in recording and checking as well as inventory of drugs that often occur excess drug orders. The focus of this research is to create a web-based drug inventory information system. System design method uses Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method. Drug inventory system employees can manage drug supplies, record, sell, order medicines to suppliers and make reports through a web-based inventory system.Keywords:  Inventory system, Mental Hospital of Tampan, OOAD

Abstract

The problem faced by the Annuqayah Vocational School curriculum is the same schedule and is taught by the same teacher. Such problems are quite complex problems because they relate to the number of teachers available. The lesson schedule is presented in the form of day and class hours tables. The subject can be seen that every day schedule divided into time slots. Each time slot has a list of subjects taught by the teacher in a particular room. To optimize the lesson schedule in Annuqayah Vocational School, Genetic Algorithm is used. This algorithm is a computational approach to the principle of natural selection, Charles Darwin's theory of evolution and the theory of Mendel's inheritance [1]. The optimization process in Genetic Algorithms includes individual generation, evaluation of fitness values, determination of probability values, Roulette Wheel selection, crossover, mutations, and new individual generation. Scheduling optimization using the Genetic Algorithm approach was declared successful because it was able to find the right combination of scheduling with optimal fitness values in 10 attempts, and no violations of the established rules from the curriculum were found so that it could assist in the preparation of subject schedules in Annuqayah Vocational High School.Keywords: curriculum, Vocational High School, scheduling, Genetic Algorithm, optimization.
