<![CDATA[Thesis is used as one of the graduation requirements for undergraduate students or S1. Likewise for students of Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan (STTH) Medan, they must write a scientific paper in the form of thesis to complete the study. Many processes are passed in writing thesis. Starting from the submission of proposals, the process of guidance, seminars and ends in the trial thesis. The long process of writing thesis raises many obstacles. One of them is the constraints related to communication between faculty and students in the process of guidance. Therefore designed a web-based information system to be able to overcome this. This information system is designed using PHP programming language and MySQL as database. This information system is designed based on case studies at Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan (STTH) Medan. This information system can help smooth the execution of the thesis in the campus environment, ranging from helping the department managing the proposal submission process, determination of supervisors, assisting lecturers and students in communicating schedule Thesis guidance during the process of guidance, to the process of scheduling seminars and thesis trial.]]>

<![CDATA[Along with the rapid advancement of technology, it is only natural that companies engaged in logistics must provide fast and appropriate services so that customers feel comfortable and satisfied by using the company's services. One of them is access to information. Short Message Service (SMS) is one of the communication facilities found on mobile devices or fixed devices that use text format. The SMS Gateway application for this goods delivery information system allows registered customers and drivers to provide and access information quickly and easily. This SMS Gateway application is made using an API (Application Programming Interface) as a connecting tool between the modem and the laptop. This application is web-based using PHP programming with MySQL database. This development method uses the UML model. This application has been tested and the results are very useful for customers who use logistics delivery services.]]>

<![CDATA[Waste is one of the problems that often arise in every major city. Poor waste management is the main cause of the problem. If it is not dumped in a certain area, waste management generally only reaches the combustion stage. This management makes waste into a pile that is endless and has no value. In the current era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, waste management can be customized so that waste becomes more useful and worth selling. This research was conducted in terms of building a digital startup that focuses on waste management. For the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) feature in this research, the Channel (media communication between users and digital startup) used in the form of Landing Page. The waste to be managed is grouped into organic waste and inorganic waste. Organic waste is managed using a composter media to produce fertilizers, and inorganic waste is managed so as to produce recycled goods that have a selling value. The focus of this research is digital based waste management in one of the big cities in Indonesia, Medan City. Research on Waste Management in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 Based on Digital Startup is done so that people in Indonesia, especially in Medan City are aware of good waste management, so that one of the problems that often arise due to waste can be minimized. <![CDATA[Unified Modeling Language (UML) is one of the important materials in the analysis and design of information systems. UML is used in designing or modeling the system. UML has some form of diagram that is grouped in several aspects based on a different view. Forms of the diagram are illustrated by different functions and notations. This makes UML difficult to understand considering that time in the classroom is very limited. Therefore, it is necessary to design a learning aid based Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI). Interactive application interface helps students understand the learning materials. Students can learn independently wherever and whenever they need. The results of this study can be utilized for the development of teaching materials, especially about modeling the system with UML. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah memberikan informasi tentang kebutuhan UI/UX design dalam mencari peluang karir di dunia internet pada era revolusi 4.0. SMK Negeri 1 kutalimbaru merupakan sekolah kejuruan yang memiliki jurusan teknik dan jaringan komputer, dimana siswa/siswi diberikan pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan teknologi internet dan juga jaringan. Sehingga target dari pengabdian masyarakat ini tercapai karena sesuai dengan tujuan nya yaitu memberikan pengetahuan akan UI/UX desain sebagai peluang karir dalam bidang profesi IT di dunia internet Di era revolusi 4.0. <![CDATA[Revolusi digital pada zaman milenial ini turut mempengaruhi dunia bisnis. Bagi seorang pemula, tentunya sulit membangun arsitektur bisnis yang lengkap dan mengelola administrasinya dengan baik. Terdapat suatu layanan yang dapat membantu mengelola administrasi bisnis dengan mudah. Layanan tersebut adalah Google Suite, yaitu sebuah layanan yang diciptakan oleh Google yang mengedepankan mobilitas dan kolaborasi untuk penyempurnaan kebutuhan IT di era millenials saat ini. Google suite merupakan layanan berbasis cloud yang membuat siapa saja bisa melakukan kolaborasi dokumen, chat, konfrensi video dengan mudah dan real time. Layanan ini juga memungkinkan penggunanya untuk tetap produktif dalam segala jenis pekerjaan tanpa perlu khawatir lagi dengan kapasitas ruang yang ada di perangkat masing-masing. Melihat banyaknya manfaat Google Suite, maka sosialisasi untuk pengelolaan administrasi bisnis dengan menggunakan Google Suite dilaksanakan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMK Swasta Mandiri, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Dengan dilaksanakannya pengabdian masyarakat ini, siswa SMK Swasta Mandiri mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan tentang Google Suite untuk pengelolaan administrasi bisnis yang dmiliki ataupun yang direncanakan.]]>

<![CDATA[Pada masa pandemi seperti saat ini, baik siswa ataupun mahasiswa melakukan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring. Untuk sementara waktu, pemerintah juga memberlakukan bagi sekolah dilarang melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran secara tatap muka yang berfungsi agar mengurangi penyebaran dari virus covid 19. Pelatihan ini dilakukan di Smart Learning Center Tanjung Morawa dengan menggunakan media Google Classroom. Dalam Google Classrom sendiri akun siswa dan guru dapat saling terhubung. Dimana dengan media pemebelajaran ini dapat memudahkan siswa dalam melakukan aktivitas belajar mengajar mulai dari absensi, pemberian materi sampai pengumpulan tugas. <![CDATA[Satria Pharmacy is a drug product selling business that only sells various kinds of pharmaceutical products. Pharmacies Satria often have difficulty in predicting future product inventories based on previously recorded data. Forecasting is very influential on the decision of the pharmacy owner to determine the number of pharmaceutical products that must be provided by the pharmacy. In developing this forecasting system, the writer uses the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) and Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) forecasting methods. The purpose of this study is to apply the Weight Moving Everage (WMA) and Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) methods to determine the accuracy of the Weight Moving Average (WMA) and Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) methods with the MSE technique. The results of this study are a website-based system that can forecast and produce value comparisons between the Weight Moving Everage and Single Exponential Smoothing methods where in the overall calculation of the error value with Mean Square Error (MSE) there are 54,95 for the WMA method and for the WMA method. SES has a value of 40,79, with that the SES method as a whole predicts better than the WMA method]]>

<![CDATA[E-Commerce adalah penyebaran, pembelian, penjualan, pemasaran barang dan jasa melalui internet. Seluruh komponen yang ada dalam perdagangan diaplikasikan ke dalam e-commerce seperti customer service, layanan produk, cara pembayaran dan cara promosi. Perkembangan internet yang semakin maju merupakan salah satu faktor pendorong berkembangnya e-commerce. UKM Batik Ardhina merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak dalam pembuatan produksi batik. Seiring berkembangnya UKM Batik Ardhina permintaan konsumen akan barang pun semakin meningkat, akan tetapi saat ini sistem yang ada di UKM Batik Ardhina masih manual, seperti tidak adanya penyimpanan pengolahan data yang terstruktur, promosi barang masih menggunakan banner. Tidak adanya sarana penjualan jarak jauh yang bisa mempermudah perusahaan dalam memperluas wilayah pemasaran. Konsumen harus datang sendiri ke lokasi dan pembayaran dilakukan secara tunai. Hal ini tentu menyulitkan para calon konsumen dari dalam dan luar kota, dikarenakan harus mengeluarkan biaya untuk mengunjungi UKM Batik Ardhina. Sehingga calon konsumen membutuhkan layanan pembelian dan pembayaran secara online dan transfer melalui rekening. Tujuan dilakukannya program kegiatan ini adalah melatih dan membuat e-commerce yang dapat mendukung proses penjualan batik. Hasil yang kami peroleh adalah (1) Aplikasi ini dapat menyajikan informasi terkait dengan UKM Batik Ardhina;(2) konsumen dapat melihat info tentang jenis-jenis produk yang dijual.]]>

<![CDATA[Sei Mencirim Village is one of the villages in Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. Where in this village, there is a Family Welfare Development Women's Association (PKK) which plays a role in the field of culinary and handicraft empowerment training. In this community service, they carry out activities by utilizing social media Instagram in digital marketing of products produced by Mrs. PKK such as bags made from plastic waste and household processed cakes. Instagram is a social media that can display photos and videos and broadcast to anyone or in other words this social media can be watched by the wider community, so this social media is very good in product digital marketing media. The results of this training activity are expected to increase the additional income of PKK women from expertise in making handicrafts or processed foods.]]>
