Perception is the process of one's interpretation of the environment, in this case the perception of Islamic banking. The purpose of this study was to determine how perceptions of UMN economics lecturers on Islamic banking. The method used is a qualitative method. The data used are primary data in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study provide data that 70% of informants agree with the principles of Islamic banks, that is monotheism. 40% of informants stated neutral and 33% agreed to Islamic bank operations and 44% stated neutral and 40% agreed to the objectives of Islamic banks.

Starbucks as well as other companies requires loyalty from its customers to increase the quantity of sales. However, it seems that Starbucks does not care about the loyalty of Muslim customers. This is evident from the Starbucks support campaign for LGBT which is clearly the opposite of Islamic teachings. Because, if Muslims are loyal to Starbucks who are known to support LGBT, it means that Muslims play a role in supporting LGBT. The purpose of this study is to find out Muslim consumer loyalty to Starbucks after Starbucks supported LGBT and also to find out Muslim consumers' responses to Starbucks for providing support Starbucks Coffee in the LGBT community. This study was conducted using qualitative methods. In this study the authors found that Starbucks support for LGBT is an act that violates business ethics in the scope of social responsibility. Moreover LGBT is a for acts that are forbidden in Islam. So Starbucks support for LGBT actions received a positive response from Muslim consumers. From informants who were questioned there was not one informant who agreed with Starbucks Coffee's support for LGBT. 3 of the 5 informants lost their loyalty to Starbucks and reluctant to go back to Starbucks.

The writing of journal entitled “Strategy of Marketing Adaptation for Ulos (woven cloth) at Tradisional, Modern and On Line Market in North Tapanuli (Study in Tarutung City)” was begin on the increasing of the number of Ulos merchant at traditional, modern and on line market in North Tapanuli. Merchant the advanced age had change the competition map by build a new marketing strategy. By the entering of the new competitors in the business encourage the entrepreneurs or merchant to have optimal thinking to achieve goal namely to seek and maintain the existence of the customer who has an important rule in the survive of market circulation. The approach method applied in this research is descriptive method by qualitative approach. The data was collected by observation and interview. The analysis unit and information in this research is the merchant and customer of ulos at Tarutung City. The data is interpreted by using the field record. The results of research indicates that the higher of market competition in the area, either in Tarutung or out of Tarutung encourage the merchant of ulos assure the customer through creativity or product innovation.

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic work ethic on a professional commitment with the organizational commitment as a intervening variable on the banker PT. Bank BRIsyariah in North Sumatera region. The data collection method used in this study is to use a questionnaire that uses a Likert scale. The population used in this study was 106 people with banker characteristics that have worked for more than 1 year. The sample in this study equals the total population of 106 samples using sampling techniques based on purposive sampling. By using the path Analysis of the research results shows that Islamic work ethics is positive and significant to the commitment of the profession of Bankers Brisyariah in North Sumatera region. The Organization's commitment is to promote the influence of Islamic work ethics on the professional commitment of bankers of BRIsyariah in North Sumatera.significant effect on the work effectiveness of the Harapan Harapan Companion Program.

Ethics must be a priority for the company or employees in every activity, including in achieving maximum profit. mini markets and supermarkets as a semi-modern place should not only make profit as its main orientation but to priority ethics as its first step gaining maximum profit. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of ethics of service in mini markets and supermarkets in Panyabungan Mandailing Natal in order to achieve maximum profit and to overview the efforts to achieve profit in accordance with ethics of service in the view of Islamic economics. This research method is descriptive qualitative. This research concludes that mini markets and supermarkets in Panyabungan have implemented service ethics based on indicators of honesty values, speaking politely, skillfully, serving friendly, not prejudiced, serving responsibly, employees also apply helpful attitude, serve consumers well without favoritism and neatly dressed. Overview of Islamic Economics on the implementation of service ethics is in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics, namely the value of justice and balance in every practice. Justice, balance, honesty, help and the value of other sharia maqasid as Islamic economic values has been carried out with these indicators, all of which are in accordance with the principles of implementing Islamic economic values or Islamic law.

The research aims to see the practice of agricultural land pawn in Nagori Bandar Rakyat, Kecamatan Bandar, Kabupaten Simalungun. Methods of research with qualitative approach to phenomenology. The truth of phenomenology is fulfilled while the involvement of researchers as human instruments in the business can uncover, capturing the passion of the subject of economic phenomena or behavior in the field. Data obtained by interviews from the people Nagori Bandar Rakyat, Kecamatan Bandar, Kabupaten Simalungun who practiced the practice of agricultural land pawn. The results of the research showed the practice of agricultural land pawn in people Nagori Bandar Rakyat, Kecamatan Bandar, Kabupaten Simalungun not in accordance with sharia principles because of the detriment of either party. Because, the contract is done only to find profit. By giving a certain amount of money, murtahin got two advantages. Profit from the utilization of agricultural land guarantee and the debt from rahin. This happens because the public doesn‘t understand the Islamic Law well. The lack of Islam, even if the community does not know the impact, so that people do practice of agricultural land pawn according to customs.

The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of catering mangat entrepreneurs towards Islamic banking in the city of Medan. The method used is a qualitative method with interviews. The results of this study are; The perception of the catering spirit entrepreneur towards Islamic banking is good. According to him, Islamic banks with the concept of sharing the results, are free from usury and can help customers to transact in a halal manner. So that customers feel safe and comfortable as well as blessings in transactions. The experience of catering entrepreneurs in using sharia banking services, namely that there are many conveniences in business activities carried out, for example in transfer transactions, the service is quite easy and reaches the intended account as well as when receiving transfers from consumers, immediately receiving notifications via messag services on cellphones . During the use of Islamic banking services, there were no obstacles or obstacles experienced, and it went well, as well as catering entrepreneurs who felt helped by the existence of Islamic banking services

The marketing strategy continues to develop. Internet advertising is commonly referred to as e-marketing. Various e-marketing strategies can be done now, for example online advertising. Advertising that used to be offline is now utilizing the internet. One of the formats for online advertising is native ad. Native advertising is a digital advertising format that is still relatively new for online advertising. This study aims to explain how native advertising is used and see how consumers' attitudes towards evaluating native ads. It is recommended to see more than where the original ad can be effectively approved according to marketing objectives. This research uses descriptive analysis technique with random sampling data collection techniques to 420 respondents online. Obtained results from native advertisements that are supported and able to produce positive attitudes and behaviors that benefit marketers or ad owners. Respond to native ads that can provide good information, fun, useful, credible, and do not disturb.

This study is shown to determine the factors that influence purchasing decisions at PT. Safco Multi Trading Medan. Price and product quality as independent variables and purchasing decisions as dependent variables. The method used in this research is to use quantitative research. Data obtained and analyzed using multiple linear regression equation with the equation Y = 4.020 + 0.378X1 + 0.500X2. This analysis includes the t test in the effect of price on purchasing decisions is 3.619 with Sig 0.001 and the t test in the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions is 5.639 with Sig 0.000, R-Square of 0.391, f test of 26.355 with Sig 0.000. The results showed that the price had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at customers of PT. Shafco Multi Trading. Product quality has a positive and significant effect of 39.1% on purchasing decisions at customers of PT. Shafco Multi Trading, purchasing decision is a moderating variable in influencing product quality on purchasing decisions at PT. Shafco Multi Trading so that 60.9% is influenced by other factors not examined by researchers.

Research aims to test financial risk and influence on the profitability of Sharia Bank in Indonesia. Financial risk indicators include CAR, NPF, BOPO, FDR and ROE. Profitability indicators of Sharia Banks in Indonesia are ROA. The research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Data used secondary data in the form of a monthly data From The Financial Report of Sharia Commercial Bank and Sharia Business Unit published by Sharia Banking Directorate, Bank Indonesia and the Bank Licensing and Banking Information Department, Indonesia Financial Services Authority from January 2006 to January 2018. Research results: (1)The result of the model estimate shows its R2 value of 0,614 representing the value of coefficient of determination. This means that 61,40% of the variable variations of the ROA are capable of being described by independent variable in this model. The remaining 38,60% is explained by other reasons that do'nt fit into the model; (2)A regression model on the independent variable simultaneously affects the dependent variable, so that the independent variable regression model can be used to predict the dependent variable; and (3)CAR, NPF and FDR are significantly influence on ROA. BOPO and ROE influential on ROA. But, it's not significant.
