Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) Is the increase creative thinking mathematics of the students who obtain a Project Based Learning model assisted by Ms.Excel higher than the ability of mathematics creativity of students who received regular learning. (2) Is there an interaction between students’ mathematics ability (high, medium, low) and model of learning to increase students’ creative thinking mathematics ability. (3) How is the students’ answering process in solving the problem of creative thinking mathematics ability in learning using Project Based Learning model assisted by Ms.Excel and regular learning. This type of research is a quasi experimental research. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis is intended to describe the percentage of achievement scores of students in learning by using a Project Based Learning model assisted by Ms.Excel and regular Learning. Inferential analysis of data is performed by Two Ways ANOVA. Based on those analyses, the researcher acquires the result. That are: (1) The increasing of  students’ creative thinking mathematics ability using Project Based on Learning model assisted by Ms.Excel is higher than regular learning. (2) There is no interaction between mathematical prerequisite ability and model of learning on creative thinking mathematics ability. (3) Students’ answering process that taught by Project Based Learning model assisted Ms.Excel is better than students’ answering process that taught by regular learning.

Abstract

This journal discusses about the scientific that is often a debate of scientists. Some scholars argue that the Qur'an motivates its people to love science. Other experts argued that the verses of the Qur'an gives signals of science, but in fact these thoughts comes down to the same goal which confirmed the contents of the content of the Koran and Hadith through scientific research conducted by scientists Muslim or non-Muslim. In the latest developments strengthen the stretch of Muslims about the necessity of Islamization of science. Approach in this journal is a science approach that explores the truth content of Al Qur'an and Hadith content through scientific research. In this context, Islam not only encourages its people to love science, but it gives a scientific signal which if revealed will result in the work of science that contributes to human civilization, so that the presence of science provides convenience in the survival of the creatures of the world. The authors conclude that the existence of science gained significant support in the teachings of Islam to be an integral part of the system of Islamic theology.

Abstract

The aims of this research are intended to examine the effect of ARIAS learning model toward the increase of student’s mathematical understanding ability. The research utilized nonequivalent pre-test and post control group design. The population of this research are students of grade seven from one junior high school in Bandung. As concern, the sample comprised of 37 students in ARIAS class (experiment group) and 35 students in conventional class (control group). The research problem are to improve mathematical understanding ability. The quantitative analysis is used independent sample t-test, Mann-Whitney test, while qualitative analysis is used descriptive one. The result shows better increasing mathematical understanding ability by using ARIAS learning model than by using conventional teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) The ability of students' mathematical reasoning that is taught by realistic mathematics approach (2) The ability of students' mathematical reasoning that is taught by conventional learning (3) Is there a comparison of the effect of realistic mathematical approach and conventional learning to students' VII Junior Islamic Education Foundation Deli Tua T.A 2016/2017. This research is quantitative research. The population of this research is all students of class VII SMP Islamic Education FoundationDeli Tua consisting of 151 students. The sample in this research is class VII-4 amounted to 26 students as experimental class and class VII-5 amounted to 25 students as control class. The findings of this research show: (1) The students 'math competence ability which is taught by realistic mathematical approach get the average score of 67,30 (2) The students' math competency which is taught by conventional learning gets the average score of 59,29 (3 ) There is a comparison of the effect of realistic mathematical approach and conventional learning on the mathematical reasoning ability of the seventh grade students of SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Deli Tua T.A 2016/2017. This is based on the calculation of statistical test-t obtained by the number of 1.792 while the t-table of 1.676. Thus, there is a comparison of the effect of realistic mathematical approach and conventional learning on students' math reasoning ability.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the difference of learning result of student's mathematics with learning model of elaboration and model of learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This research is quantitative research, with research type quasi experiment. The population is all students of IX class MTs Amaliyah Tanjung Tiga Academic Year 2016/2017  the number of the students 140 . The sample in this study were 30 students in the class IX-A and 30 students in the class IX-B. Data analysis was doing by variance analysis (ANAVA). Result  finding showed : 1) the amount results of learning of student mathematicstaught by using elaboration learning model with an average value of 70.17 and has a variance value of 216.28. 2) the amount results of learning of student mathematicstaught by Student Teams Achievemnt Division (STAD) learning model with an average score of 60.33 and a variance value of 158.92. 3) there are differences of students' mathematics learning result taught with elaboration learning model and learning model of type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with Fcount> F(table) that is equal to F(count) = 5,936 and Ftable = 4,007. The conclusion of this research showed that the result of learning of student mathematics taught by using elaboration learning model is better than using model of learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the increase of activity and learning result of animal network concept on the students of class XI IPA MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan through the use of flashcards media. This classroom action research is conducted with three cycles. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 5 MAN 2 Padangsdimpuan in the academic year 2015/2016 amounted to 25 students, which is 10 men and 15 women, and the biology teacher in charge of teaching in class XI IPA 5 MAN 2 Padangsdimpuan in the academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted on 18 to 25 August 2016. Instrument in the form of observation sheet, test of learning result, analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The indicator of success in accordance with the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) applied in MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan is the learning result of students at least 85% and the completeness of classical learning at least 85%, learning is said to be effective when 85% of students have been actively involved, whether mental, physical, mental, and social. Result of research: the cycle I average of process evaluation from student activity got 60,6%, mean of average result of learning result of animal tissue concept with new completeness reach 74%.  In the cycle II of the average process assessment that is as much as 78.67% and the average assessment of learning outcomes is 86% complete. The average third cycle of process assessment is 96% and the average result is 96%. Implementation of learning in cycle III the average assessment of results has reached predetermined indicator that 85% of students achieve Minimization completeness Criteria (KKM) as much as 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in learning outcomes between students taught by cooperative learning model type TGT with students taught by STAD type cooperative learning model in class VII MTs PAB 2 Sampali, as well as to compare the average of learning outcomes of students who were taught by the model of learning cooperative type TGT with students who are taught by STAD type cooperative learning model in class VII MTs PAB 2 Sampali on square flat matter. This type of research is a quantitative research using comparative analysis. This research is a study of population consisting of all students of class VII MTs PAB 2 Sampali academic year 2016/2017. The sample is obtained by taking two classes, namely class VII-2 which will be given teaching method of TGT and VII-3 which will be given STAD teaching method which each class is 21 students. Analyze the difference of learning result using t-test (t-test seperated variance), while the mean comparison of learning result using t-test polled variance. These findings show: 1). The value of t arithmetic for the first hypothesis test = 5.696 with t table at 5% significance level = 1.684. 2). The value of t arithmetic for the second hypothesis test = 6.292 with t table at 5% significance level = 1.684. 3). The conclusion of this study explains that there are differences in student learning outcomes taught by cooperative learning model type TGT with students taught by STAD type cooperative learning model, and the average of student learning outcomes taught by cooperative learning model TGT type is greater than the average. average learning outcomes of students who were taught by STAD type cooperative learning model on square flat matter in class VII MTs PAB 2 Sampali

Abstract

This research aim to know: (1) do applying of tutor sebaya method can push student to learn more active, ( 2) do study with tutor sebaya method  can improve result learn, ( 3) how perception of student about study with tutor sebaya method. This research represent research of class action. This research subject class  XII TKJ-A SMK Namira Tech Nusantara about 31students. Passed to treatment subject in this research is to improve result learn student pass applying of tutor sebaya method in study. Of data analysis indicate that study by applying tutor sebaya method can be seen from result learn student which mounting and result of observation staying in good category. Percentage of complete level learning student by clasical experience about 19,35% and this means that integral lesson pass tutor sebaya method can improve result of learning student.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical communication skills of students before and after the application of PBL learning on the subject of a triangle in class VII MTs. Islamiyah and improvement of students' mathematical communication skills through the application of PBL learning on the subject of triangular in class VII MTs. Islamiyah Medan. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class VII MTs. Islamiyah Medan as many as 28 people. The instruments of data collection used are tests (in essay form), interviews, and observations. Data analysis techniques performed include: data reduction, data analysis, data interpretation, and conclusions. The findings in this study show: (1) the students' mathematical communication skills before the application of PBL learning on the subject of a triangular in class VII MTs. Islamiyah scored an average of 47.43 (2) Improvement of mathematical communication in cycle I was obtained 15 students (53,57%) who have medium minimum mathematical communication capability and cycle II obtained 23 students (82,14%) who have high mathematical communication (3) The ability of students' mathematical communication after the application of PBL learning on the subject of a triangular in class VII MTs. Islamiyah on the action of class I cycle gets an average score of 64.68 and after doing action in cycle II is 75,3. Based on research results, it can be concluded that by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model of learning can improve students' mathematical communication abilities on the subject of triangular in class VII MTs. Islamiyah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematics learning outcome in the material Lines and Angles discussion of the relationship between the angle, the position of the two lines, properties and large corner angles in class VII MTs Islamiyah field in the academic year 2016/2017. This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles including planning, implementation, observation and reflection activities. While to know the student's ability, researchers used the test results of students' individual and group. The subject of this research is the students of class VII-3 MTs Islamiyah Medan which amounted to 22 people consisting of 8 male students and 14 female students. Before giving the action, the percentage of students' classical completeness is seen from the pretest given by the teacher by giving post test of cycle I and post test cycle II with the validated problem. From the results of this class action, the researchers conclude their students' mathematics learning outcome and recommend on implementing learning to teach the material to develop Genius Learning Strategy Learning.
