Abstract

Children are valuable assets for parents, children become a reflection of how their parents themselves. Social media as a social structure that comes from individuals and organizations that comes from individuals and organizations that are bound by the similarity of users. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive or commonly reffered to as mixed methods. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data. The population in this study were parents of class IV to class VI at 4 Elementary Schools. The sampling technique used was random sampling method which was obtained by 124 respondents. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics and Chi-Square analysis. The results found that the social media is determined by the application, content and effects caused in the formation of children’s characters. Social media applications have a relationship in shaping the character of children. The application is tailored to the needs of children such as applications than can help the child’s learning process, increase their knowledge and socialization. Social media content has a relationship is shaping the character of children. The content is tailored to the needs of children who sould be a concern of parents to provide supervision of what children do with gadgets. The effect of social media has a relationship in the formation of children’s character. This shows that social media as a whole has a bad effect on the formation of childred’s characters. This is because social media not only has positive values, but also negative ones depending on the application and the content they have.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of self-management techniques to improve time management skills. The data collection technique in this study uses a questionnaire with a research sample of 30 students from all students of STKIP Andi Matappa with a population of 120. student people. The type of research used in this research is experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest desaign research design. The results showed that the level of student time management before being given treatment in the form of self-management techniques was in the low category. Furthermore, the level of student time management after being given treatment in the form of self-management techniques is in the high category. In addition, based on the results of the research hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of self-management techniques on the time management of students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah unttuk mengetahui: (1) Gambaran tingkat prokrastinasi akademik mahaMahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo, (2) Pelaksanaan teknik self control di mahaMahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo, (3) Teknik self control dapat mengurangi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental design. Populasi penelitan sebanyak 95 orang. Adapun sampel penelitian sebanyak 20 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok penelitian menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakanan alisis data deskriptif dan analisis inferensial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen yang mengkaji tentang penerapan konseling rational emotif behavior therapy terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk menerapkan konseling rational emotive behavior therapy untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika di Prodi PGSD STKIP Andi Matappa. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest desain dengan tahapan meliputi; 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) penyusunan instrument, 3) pengumpulan data awal (pretest), 4) penerapan teknik rasional emotif behavior theraphy 5) pengumpulan data akhir (posstest), 6) analisis data dan diskusi, 7) kesimpulan dan pelaporan. Popoluasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa STKIP Andi matappa sebanyak 811 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 10 mahasiswa Prodi PGSD dengan Teknik penarikan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian melalui uji analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan perlakuan berupa konseling rasional emotive behavior therapy terhadap mahasiswa PGSD, motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika berada kategori rendah. Sedangkan setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa konseling rasional emotive behavior therapy, motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika mengalami perubahan yaitu berada pada kategori tinggi. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Z menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang nyata atau positif yaitu penerapan konseling rational emotif behavior therapy dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika di prodi PGSD STKIP Andi Matappa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran kepada Siswa melalui pemberian Metode Pembelajaran Example Non Example di SMKN 1 Nunukan. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah dengan melibatkan 5 Guru Kelas, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan instrumen penilaian, yaitu Penilaian Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Instrumen Penilaian Kemampuan Merencanakan Pembelajaran, dan Instrumen Penilaian Kemampuan Melaksanakan Pembelajaran, Evaluasi, Tindak Lanjut. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses bimbingan yang dilakukan secara berlanjut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan Guru dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran Example non example ditandai dari adanya peningkatan persentase pada siklus 1 sebesar 63% Berada pada kategori sedang, pada siklus ke II menjadi 96% dengan lategori tinggi, Hasil untuk keberhasilan guru menerapkan metode pembelajaran example non example dilihat dari hasil KKM siswa dimana pada prasiklus 47% (25 siswa) cukup memenuhi KKM pada siklus I dan, pada siklus II pencapaian ketuntasa siswa 95% (29 siswa) juga memenuhi KKM

Abstract

The research aims to determine (1) the ability of subject teachers to prepare lesson plans for cooperative learning models; (2) The ability of the teacher to apply the cooperative learning model. This research method is a type of school action research which is an action research, the implementation uses two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages involving 4 teachers of SMAN 1 Krayun. The results showed (1) there was a significant improvement in the ability of teachers in preparing lesson plans for cooperative learning models starting in the pre-cycle 62.55% with the low category, 81% in the first cycle in the good category, and 95.5% in the second cycle with the very good category; (2) There was an increase in the teacher's ability to apply the cooperative learning model from the pre-cycle with a percentage of 56% in the low category, 73% in the first cycle in the good category, 92.5% in the second cycle in the very good category with 100% learning completeness. The results show that with supervision through guidance, coaching in applying the cooperative learning model to teachers, has an impact on student performance and achievement.
