Abstract

Land-use pattern of Gunungsitoli municipality cannot be controlled yet, where land originally designated for the Local Protection Zone or the coastal green zone has been converted to function as built-up land for housing and settlement activities. Spatial Planning Law Number 26/2007, Regional Regulation No. 12/2012, and Presidential Regulation Number 51/2016 in Article (1) has regulated spatial layout and coastline. Research type used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative-quantitative approach. This study aims to predict population growth in 2020-2039, land changes in 2010-2019 and distribution of tsunami prone areas analysis. The results of this study predict population growth in Gunungsitoli municipality for the next 20 years, 2020-2039, to 148.341 people. The biggest land use change / change analysis occurred in Gunungsitoli sub-district with a percentage of 25,38% of the total area of change in all Gunungsitoli sub-districts, and the smallest land use change’s percentage that occurred in Gunungsitoli West sub-district because this sub-district has a sloping and bumpy topography. The results of the tsunami disaster area analysis showed Gunungsitoli sub-district is the most extensive vulnerability impacted of 3.449 hectares. Subsequently followed by Gunungsitoli Idanoi sub-district, South Gunungsitoli sub-district and North Gunungsitoli sub-district.

Abstract

Based on the hydrological cycle, one of the main water sources is rainwater. weather or climate conditions that occur will greatly affect the nature and condition of a rain or rainy season. On a global scale, the existence of water naturally is constant, only occurs in variations both in time and space on a regional scale. Analysis of the rainfall characteristics of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) residential and commercial areas 2  Cluster "C" in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, is for to find out the intensity of rainfall used for drainage planning. The daily rainfall data used includes 5 rain catching stations with a duration of 25 years (1994 - 2018). The Van Breen method is used to process rainfall data within a certain period into rainfall intensity with various times for drainage planning used. In the planning of drainage channels the rainfall return period used is PUH 2 for tertiary lines with selected rainfall data of 192 mm / day and PUH 5 for secondary lines with selected rainfall data of 219 mm / day. The IDF curve shows that rainfall intensity is affected by the time and return period of rainfall, where the shorter the rainfall time and the greater the return period of rainfall, the higher the intensity of rainfall produced.

Abstract

The use of excessive synthetic coagulants and continuously will have a negative impact because of the increasing amount of mud volume can accumulate in the human body. The quality of Cikapundung River water has decreased every year, so it is necessary to treat Cikapundung River water through a process of coagulation and flocculation using coagulants made from nanocytin, chitosan and commercial chitosan. Measurement of these parameters uses the gravimetric and titrimetri method. The dose of coagulant used in the process of coagulation and flocculation is 10 mg / L, by varying the pH value of pH 5, pH 7 and pH 9 and the flocculation time variations of 15 minutes, 20 minutes and 25 minutes. The measurement results showed with a dose of coagulant 10 mg / L, commercial chitosan pH 5 flocculation times of 25 minutes can reduce the TSS concentration of 12 mg / L with 99.38% total suspended allowance. Concentration of Chemical Oxygen Demand 13.12 mg / L with 98.91% allowance. The TSS value has fulfilled the quality standard according to Government Regulation Number 82 of 2001 concerning Management of Water Quality and Water Pollution Control in the first class.

Abstract

Lamreh, one of Aceh Besar regency areas, formerly had a kingdom called Lamuri Sultanate Kingdom. This Sultanate is the forerunner to the Sultanate of Aceh Darussalam. So that the history of Lamuri does not disappear, the writer is interested in providing information about the historical discovery of the kingdom of Lamuri in the form of animation. Lamuri's historical animation is designed in the form of 3-dimensional object visualization with easy-to-understand voice dialogue. Animation uses 3 software in the form of Iclone, Sketchup, and Corel pro x6. This animation amounts to 10 scenes with a duration of 5 minutes 45 seconds. Hopefully, this animation can provide information to the public about the forerunner of the history of Lamuri.

Abstract

One of the organic waste treatment using the bioconversion process of the Black Soldier Fly larvae or commonly called Maggot. This study aims to determine the total amount of waste produced from bioconversion and to determine the effect of variable type of waste on Maggot growth. The types of samples used are household waste, melon waste, chicory waste and tofu waste as a control. The research method uses the True Experimental Design method with the Posttest Only Control Design research design. The study began with hatching of 1 gram Black Soldier Fly eggs which were then incubated for four days. Analysis of the study was conducted when Maggot was 7 days old with the number of feeding varied per feed. The results showed that total organic waste decomposed varied in each sample, namely the average total waste of 8122.1 grams, 1859.7 grams, 1320.3 grams and 1683.3 grams. The percentage of waste showed 74.6% for samples without mashed and 87.1% for mashed samples. The type of waste gives a significant influence on the growth of Maggot the value of sig. 0.024 (sig. P value sig. Value)

Abstract

The National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) and Indonesia Transportation Ministry have established 2015-2019 National Mid-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and Belawan Port Master Plan (RIP) 2012 (revised 2018).  Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2017 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) established several indicators of welfare, one of which is population. This study aims to describe relationship between 2015-2019 RPJMN and Belawan RIP 2012 (revised 2018) and illustrate impact development of Port of Belawan on surrounding community welfare. Quantitative-qualitative descriptive research was chosen with Secondary Data Analysis (ADS) approach and validated by triangulation method.  research population is in Medan Belawan sub-district and sample uses times series design method and non-probability purposive sampling. Data were obtained from Bappenas, Transportation Department and PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia, Belawan RPJMN and RIP document and BPS Medan Municipality, namely population data. Population parameters are analysis results from several sub-parameters, namely population growth, population density, and migrant population.  Study results successfully illustrated relationship between RPJMN and Belawan RIP and Belawan Port existence had a positive impact on development of surrounding communities’ welfare.  This study results were validated using secondary data from Googlemap in form of a map of economic distribution activity and photographs of businesses.

Abstract

Most of the solid waste from Palm oil Industry in Indonesia has not been exploited optimally to become valuable product. This research aims to produce activated carbon from palm oil shell waste and applied it for the adsorption of Fe, Mn and pH of shallow well. Production of Palm shell activated carbon (PSAC) were done under following steps; e.i palm shell preparation, oven dried, carbonization at 400 0C, dan then activated at 600 0C. PSAC Characterization conducted based on Indonesion Standard of SNI No.06-3730-95, which consist of water content, ash content, fly ash content and fixed carbon, while surface of PSAC analized using FTIR method. Shallow well sampling were taken from 2 wells from Drien Tujoh Village, Nagan Raya District. PSAC contacted time varied from 30-120 minute. The highest PSAC adsorption efficiency were obtained both at 120 minute contacted time, which range from 10,41 - 58,34% for Fe(II); 9,51 - 48,90% for Mn(II) and pH raised from 5,8 to 7,6. In conclusion, the PSAC product has been able to remove Fe, Mn and pH content in accordance with water quality standard published by Indonesian Government, and it could be marketed for increasing the people’s income.

Abstract

Service Standards are benchmarks that are used as guidelines for service delivery and references as a Service Standards are benchmarks used as quality assessment guidelines service to the community as a quality service, fast, easy, affordable, and measurable. At this time the development of technology and information systems increasingly stringent so that it requires the readiness of a technology that is able to answer competition in the government environment. Service data processing information systems in Gampong currently do not meet technological development standards in the present, because the existing data processing systems are still done manually using MS. Word and MS. EXCEL. The problem of service if you make a letter by hand is that the people who make the letter have to wait a long time, so the village officials must input the data manually. The purpose of this research is to produce a system in serving the public to make the documents needed by the community, so that the officers can provide services quickly and accurately. of the Village Administration, with the existence of this information system can provide services in the village administration data collection that previously was still using the manual system method.

Abstract

One of the technologies that will be used to overcome the problem of environmental pollution due to the generation of greywater is by applying Constructed Wetlands using aquatic plants. Aquatic plants that will be used in this study are using Bintang Air (Cyperus papyrus) and Bambu Air (Equisetum hyemale) plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of decreasing BOD5 and COD parameters and comparing the ability of each plant to absorb pollutants in greywater. The results showed that the Bintang Air (Cyperus papyrus) plant was able to set aside BOD5 levels of 97.14% while the efficiency of COD levels was 95.43%. At Bambu Air (Equisetum hyemale) it is able to set aside BOD5 levels by 90.34% while efficiency for COD is 89.67%. When viewed from the ability of the two types of plants to absorb pollutants in domestic wastewater, the Bintang Air (Cyperus papyrus) plant is superior in absorbing pollutants than the Bambu Air (Equisetum hyemale) plant.

Abstract

As the first step to air pollution control and public health protection, Air quality monitoring systems provides information that indicate the extend of pollution in an area, the source of pollution and the types of pollutants. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate Jakarta’s air quality monitoring system by comparing it to the US, which participates in Indonesia’s air quality monitoring system by using their own system.  In specific, parameters such as air quality index, monitoring stations, regulation and data availability are to be compared through reviewing various literatures in detail.  The result obtained shows that the monitoring station amount is already ideal and complies to the U.S regulation. Indonesia’s ambient air quality standard need to be stricter and Air Pollutant Standard Index should include PM2.5 as a parameter obtains significantly better results. Air quality data is available and accessible, although it needs to be integrated and provide real time information in a simple and effective way.
