Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran BIPA, (2) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran BIPA, (3) mendeskripsikan evaluasi pembelajaran BIPA, dan (4) mendeskripsikan alasan guru memilih prosedur tertentu dalam pembelajaran BIPA di Sekolah Cinta Bahasa, Ubud, Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengajar BIPA di Sekolah Cinta Bahasa, Ubud, Bali dan objek penelitian adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran BIPA serta alasan guru memilih prosedur tertentu dalam pembelajaran BIPA di Sekolah Cinta Bahasa, Ubud, Bali. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan pembelajaran BIPA yang disusun oleh pengajar sudah sesuai dengan silabus yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga Sekolah Cinta Bahasa, Ubud, Bali,(2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran BIPA yang dilaksanakan pengajar sudah mengarah pada kemampuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa Indonesia siswa, (3) evaluasi pembelajaran BIPA yang dilaksanakan pengajar berupa tes lisan atau tes tulis (4) metode-metode pembelajaran BIPA yang digunakan oleh pengajar di Sekolah Cinta Bahasa bervariasi, seperti metode tata bahasa terjemahan, metode langsung, metode membaca, metode suggestopedia, metode eklitik, dan metode audiolingual. Pemilihan metode tersebut disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan atau tujuan pembelajar BIPA belajar bahasa Indonesia.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran, bahasa Indonesia, penutur asing This research aims to (1) describe the BIPA's lesson plan, (2) describe the BIPA learning implementation, (3) describe the learning evaluation of the BIPA, and (4) describe the reason teachers choose a certain procedure in the BIPA learning at Cinta Bahasa school, Ubud, Bali. This research used descriptive qualitative research design. The subject in this study is BIPA at teachers Cinta Bahasa school, Ubud, Bali and the object of research is the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning BIPA as well as the reason for selecting a particular procedure in BIPA learning at the Cinta Bahasa school, Ubud, Bali. The methods used to collect data are methods of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study suggest that (1) BIPA learning planning compiled by teachers already in accordance with the syllabus set by the institution of the Cinta Bahasa school, Ubud, Bali, (2) implementation learning BIPA teachers already carried out lead to the ability to develop Indonesian Language or Bahasa ability of students, (3) the evaluation of the learning of teaching be implemented BIPA test of oral or written, (4) learning methods which are used by teachers at the Cinta Bahasa school like the varied language, as the grammar translation method, direct method, reading method, suggestopedia method, eclectic method, and audiolingual method. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) jenis-jenis media yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita (2) respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran menulis berita, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran menulis berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII se-Kecamatan Gerokgak dan siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Gerokgak dengan objek penelitian berupa media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita. Ada tiga metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) jenis-jenis media yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita cukup bervariasi, yaitu media berbasis manusia, media berbasis teks, media berbasis audio visual, dan media berbasis komputer. (2) respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran menulis berita tergolong baik, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran menulis berita meliputi kendala dalam pemilihan media, penyediaan fasilitas, waktu, dan karakteristik siswa.Kata Kunci : media pembelajaran menulis, menulis berita. This research aimed to describes (1) the types of media used by teacher in writing news (2) the student’s response to the effectiveness of the use of media in teaching writing news, and (3) the constraints that faced by teacher when using media in teaching writing news. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative research design. Subject in this research is Indonesia teacher of 8th grade and Students of 8th grade in SMP Negeri districts Gerokgak with the research object is instructional media used by teachers in writting news. Data collection method that used in this research are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained is analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis technique. The results of this research showed that (1) the types of media that used by teachers in teaching writing news is varies, it is human media, text media, audio visual media, and computer media, (2) the response of students to the useness of the instructional media in writting news is belong good, and (4) the constraints faced by teacher to the use of media in writting news involved obtacles of choosing media, facilities, time, and students characteristic.keyword : write learning media, writing news

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) perencanaan penilaian autentik, (2) pelaksanaan penilaian autentik, (3) kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan penilaian autentik, dan (4) respons siswa terhadap pelaksanaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan di kelas VIIIA9 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VIIIA9 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Objek penelitian ini adalah perencanaan dan pelaksanaan penilaian autentik, kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penilaian autentik, serta respons siswa terhadap penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan tergolong baik karena penilaian yang dilakukan guru memenuhi ciri-ciri penilaian autentik, (2) pelaksanaan penilaian autentik dikembangkan dari perencanaan yang telah disiapkan, (3) terdapat beberapa kendala yang dialami oleh guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan penilaian autentik, yaitu kurangnya pemahaman mengenai rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), kesulitan dalam menyusun instrumen dan pedoman penilaian, kesulitan menyesuaikan jumlah siswa dengan banyaknya penilaian yang harus dilakukan dan ketersediaan waktu, keterbatasan fasilitas atau sarana prasarana, (4) respons siswa terhadap penilaian tergolong positif dengan skor rata-rata 41,65. Peneliti lain dapat mengkaji aspek lain, seperti dampak psikologis peserta didik terhadap jenis penilaian autentik yang digunakan oleh pendidik, maupun dari aspek kekontekstualan dan kefektifan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran bahasa.Kata Kunci : penilaian, autentik, pembelajaran, menulis The purpose of qualitative descriptive research is to describe (1) planning of authentic assessment (2) the implementation of authentic assessment (3) the obstacles that experienced by educators in planning and implementing authentic assessment, and (4) response of student to the implementation of authentic assessment in learning to write the text reviews in class VIIIA9 SMP N 1 Singaraja. The object of this research is planning and implementing authentic assessment, the obstacles that experienced by educator in authentic assessment, and the response of student to the assessment that made by the teacher. The method that used to collect the data is the method of observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this research is defined that (1) planning of authentic assessment in learning to write the text reviews are classified as good because the assessment that implemented by the teacher is identified as authentic assessment, (2) the implementation of authentic assessment is increasing from the planning in the files, (3) there are several obstacles that experienced by the teacher in planning and implementing authentic assessment, such as the lack of understanding about lesson plan, the difficulty in develop instruments and guidelines for assessment, the difficulty of adjusting the number of students with the number of assessment that should be doing and the available time, limited facilities or infrastructure, (4) response of the student to the assessment is positive with average ratings score 41.65. Other researchers could study otheraspects, such as psychological impact of student to the kind of authentic assessment used by educators, as well as from the contextual aspect and effectiveness of authentic assessment in language learning.keyword : Keywords: comment text, authentic assessment, writing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas XI IBB SMA Saraswati Singaraja. Ancangan penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek guru bahasa Indonesia kelas XI dan siswa. Objek penelitian berupa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis cerpen. Ada tiga metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP guru terdiri atas komponen-komponen seperti: identitas RPP, kompetensi inti, kompetensi dasar, indikator pencapaian, tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, alokasi waktu, metode pembelajaran, langkah-langkah kegiatan pembelajaran, media dan sumber belajar, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Ada beberapa kelemahan dalam RPP tersebut seperti: (1) materi pelajaran masih terlalu umum, (2) guru hanya menggunakan satu sumber belajar, (3) guru belum mencantumkan media yang digunakan. Namun demikian, secara umum pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru sudah mengikuti langkah-langkah yang terdapat dalam RPP yang mencakup kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Ditemukan sejumlah kelemahan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran seperti: (1) guru masih menyelipkan kegiatan mencatat materi pelajaran yang seharusnya dihindari dalam pendekatan saintific. (2) guru sama sekali tidak melaksanakan penilaian sikap. Pencantuman instrumen penilaian sikap dalam RPP ternyata hanya formalitas. Kata Kunci : pembelajaran, menulis, cerpen This research aims to analyze the planning and implementation of write short stories in senior high school XI IBB SMA Saraswati Singaraja. The sujects of this qualitative descriptive study were Indonesian teachers and students in class XI. The object of this research were planning and implementation in writing short stories. There were three methods of data collection used in this study, the methods were observation, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicated that teacher’s lesson plan include learning components such as: identity of the lesson plan, core competencies, basic competencies, indicators of achievement, learning objectives, instructional material, the allocation of time, learning methods, the steps of learning activities, media and learning resources, and evaluation of learning. There were some weaknesses in the lesson plan, such as: (1) matterial was still general, (2) the teacher used only one learning resource, (3) teacher had not specified media in used. However, In general the study conducted by already following the steps that contained in the lesson plan, the preliminary activities, main activities, and clossing. There were found several weaknesses in the implementation of learning such as: (1) the teacher still noted the activites that should be avoid in the saintific approach, (2) teachers did not implement the attitude asssessment. The inclusion of attitude assessment instruments in the lesson plan just a formality. keyword : learning, writing, short stories

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media komik dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar menulis paragraf narasi siswa kelas X di MA Manbaul Ulum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen quasi. Seluruh kelas X di MA Manbaul Ulum yang totalnya berjumlah 50 orang dijadikan populasi dalam penelitian ini. Penentuan sampel dari populasi tersebut dilakukan dengan cara random sampling dengan teknik undian. Dari hasil pengundian tersebut didapat kelas X.1 dengan 25 orang siswa untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.2 dengan 25 orang siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media komik terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada siswa kelas X di MA Manbaul Ulum. Siswa yang menggunakan media komik jauh lebih aktif dengan hasil aktivitas 81,6 daripada siswa yang menggunakan media teks cerita pendek yang hanya mendapatkan hasil aktivitas 67,2., (2) hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media komik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada siswa kelas X di MA Manbaul Ulum. Hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan secara manual didapatkan t hitung sebesar 2,65 dan harga t tabel dengan taraf signifikasi 5% adalah 2,06. Jadi harga t hitung lebih besar daripada harga t tabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.Kata Kunci : media komik, aktivitas, hasil belajar The aim of this study is to know the differences of students’ activities and students’ achievement in writing narrative paragraph between students’ group that used comic and students’ group that used short story as learning media in MA Manbaul Ulum. This research is a quasy experiment in which fifty students were involved as overall ten grade students of the school to be the population. The samples were chosen randomly involving 25 students in X.1 class as the experimental group and 25 students in X.2 as the control group. The data collected was analyzed using t test of descriptive quantitative. The result of this study shows that there are significant differences between those two groups toward students‘ activity and students’ achievement. The t test results 81.6 for he experimental group which used comic as media, while the control group which used short story as media results 62.7. It means the experimental group was more active than control group. The t test also shows that there is significant difference between those two groups toward students’ achievement in which t observed is 2.65 and t table is 2.06 in significance level 5%. It means number of t observed is bigger than t table so that HO is rejected and H1 fails to be rejected.keyword : media comics, activities, result write

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesantunan linguistik dan kesantunan pragmatik pada tuturan imperatif dalam ranah keluarga penutur bahasa Melayu Loloan. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh anggota keluarga penutur bahasa Melayu Loloan di lingkungan Kelurahan Loloan Timur, Jembrana. Objek penelitian ini ialah (1) kesantunan linguistik pada tuturan imperatif bahasa Melayu Loloan dan (2) kesantunan pragmatik pada tuturan imperatif bahasa Melayu Loloan. Peneliatian ini dirancang menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kesantunan Linguistik pada tuturan imperatif dalam ranah keluarga penutur bahasa Melayu Loloan dimarkahi oleh beberapa unsur, seperti panjang-pendek tuturan, urutan tuturan (terdapat informasi nonimperatif), intonasi tuturan, isyarat-isyarat kinesik, penanda kesantunan, dan pilihan kata yang tidak kasar. (2) Kesantunan Pragmatik pada tuturan imperatif dalam ranah keluarga penutur bahasa Melayu Loloan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip kesantunan telah menggunakan enam maksim kesantunan, yaitu maksim kearifan/kebijaksanaan (tact maxim), maksim kedermawanan (generosity maxim), maksim peghargaan/pujian (approbation maxim), maksim kerendahan hati (modesty maxim), maksim kesimpatisan (sympath maxim), maksim kemufakatan (agreement maxim). Kesantunan pragmatik berdasarkan konstruksi tuturannya ditemukan tuturan imperatif dalam konstruksi deklaratif yang menyatakan makna pragmatik suruhan, ajakan, permohonan, dan larangan. Kemudian tuturan imperatif yang berkonstruksi interogatif yang menyatakan makna perintah, ajakan, permohonan, dan larangan. (3) Berdasarkan dua wujud kesantunan imperatif, penutur bahasa Melayu Loloan paling banyak mengguanakan tuturan imperatif berkategori cukup santun.Kata Kunci : Kesantunan Linguistik, Kesantunan Pragmatik, Tuturan Imperatif This research aimed at describing linguistics politeness and pragmatics politeness of imperative utterances spoken by families which are native speakers of Melayu Loloan dialect. The subjects of this study were the entire family members of native speakers in Loloan Timur domain. The objects of this study were (1) linguistics politeness of imperative utterances in Melayu Loloan dialect, and (2) pragmatics politeness of imperative utterances in Melayu Loloan dialect. This research was designed in descriptive qualitative research design. In this research, the writer obtained the data through observation and documentation method. As the result of this study, it is found that (1) Linguistics politeness of imperative utterances spoken by families which are native speakers of Melayu Loloan dialect are noted by some elements, namely the long of utterances, the arrangement of the utterances (there are information of non-imperative utterances), the intonation of the utterances, kinesthetic signs, politeness marker, and the use of polite dictions. (2) Pragmatics politeness of imperative utterances spoken by families which are native speakers of Melayu Loloan dialect use six kind of politeness maxims, namely tact maxim, generosity maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, sympathy maxim, and agreement maxim. Based on the utterances’ construction, pragmatics politeness appears in imperative utterances which have declarative construction and convey pragmatics meaning of command, invitation, request, and prohibition. Meanwhile, imperative utterances which have interrogative construction convey the meaning of command, invitation, request, and prohibition. (3) Based on two kinds of imperative politeness, the native speakers of Melayu Loloan dialect mostly use imperative utterances which are categorized as polite.keyword : Linguistics Politeness, Pragmatics Politeness, Imperative Utterance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berdasarkan hasil wawancara di kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia yang mengajar di kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan,perencanaan pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang telah dirancang oleh guru, sudah mencakup komponen-komponen RPP yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Langkah-langkah pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berdasarkan hasil wawancara tersebut mencakup kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Penilaian pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berdasarkan hasil wawancara, guru masih kurang dalam menerapkan tiga aspek penilaian auntetik, yaitu penilaian sikap. Guru sudah mempersiapkan rubrik penilaian sikap dan lembar pengamatan sikap, namun tidak melakukan penilaian seperti dalam pedoman pada saat proses pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur.Kata Kunci : menulis, teks prosedur, wawancara This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning to write the text of procedures based on interviews in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja, grade A1. This study use a qualitative design. The subjects were Indonesian teacher who teach in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja grade A1. The object of this research is how to write text procedure. Data collection methods used were documentation, observation, and interviews. The results of this study indicate, already, learning plan writing text based on interview procedures that have been desighned by teacher, already includes components that correspond to the curriculum RPP 2013. Step of writing procedure text is based on the teaching of writing text of the interview results include preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activity. Learning assessment in procedure text of writing tevt based on interview, teachers are still lacking in implementing aunthentic there aspect of assessment, namely the attitude assessment. Teacher have prepared an assessment rubric attitude and attitude observation sheet, but there is no judgment as guidelines during the learning process in writing text procedure. keyword : writting, procedure text, interview.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) ada tidaknya peningkatan keterampilan menulis berita, (2) langkah-langkah pembelajaran menulis berita, dan (3) respon siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 4 Baturiti terhadap penerapan pembelajaran menulis berita dengan model team assisted individual berbantuan media komik Conan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 4 Baturiti Tahun ajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 22 orang siswa. Objek dalam peneitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran team assisted individual berbantuan media komik Conan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis berita. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket/kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran menulis berita dengan model team assisted individual berbantuan media komik Conan dapat (1) meningkatkan keterampilan menulis berita siswa yaitu skor rata-ata 64,5 sebelum tindakan, menjadi 73,63 pada siklus I dan 78,63 pada siklus II (2) keterampilan menulis berita siswa meningkat dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang tepat (3) siswa memberikan respon yang sangat positif terhadap pembelajaran. Penerapan pembelajaran dengan model team assisted individual (TAI) berbantuan media komik Conan dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan menulis berita kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 4 Baturiti. Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk menentukan (1) hasil belajar apresiasi sastra cerpen melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II, (2) langkah-langkah pembelajaran hingga mencapai KKM, dan (3) respons siswa kelas IX.3 SMP Widiatmika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IX 3 SMP Widiatmika. Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar apresiasi sastra cerpen, langkah-langkah pembelajaran, dan respons siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui metode obeservasi, dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, (1) hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw II terbukti dapat meingkatkan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dibuktikan pada tindakan siklus I skor rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 87,55. Dengan ketuntasan klasikal 59,25%. Pada tindakan siklus II skor rata-rata siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 88,53. Dengan ketuntasan klasikal 88,46%.(2) langkah-langkah pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II merupakan model pembelajaran yang berbasis kelompok. Kelompok tersebut, terdiri atas kelompok asal dan kelompok ahli. Ketika siswa telah kembali dari kelompok ahli. Maka masing-masing anggota kelompok ahli harus mengajarkan teman di kelompok asalnya masing-masing. (3) respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II tergolong sangat positif. Pada siklus I rata-rata skor siswa sebesar 40,14 (positif). Pada siklus II skor rata-rata siswa meningkat mennjadi 41,00 (sangat positif). Oleh karena itu, penerapan model pembelajaran ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dan sangat disambut positif oleh siswa kelas IX 3 SMP Widiatmika. Selain itu, model pembelajaran ini da pat disarankan untuk guru dalam meningkatkan inovasi pembelajaran dan juga hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif, jigsaw II, meningkatkan, apresiasi sastra The Research aims to determine (1) the results of the short story literary appreciation learning Jigsaw II, (2) learning steps up to KKM, and (3) response IX.3 students of SMP Widiatmika. The subjects were teachers and students of class IX3 SMP Widiatmika. The object of this study is the short story literary appreciation learning outcomes, learning steps, and the student's response. Data was collected with observation, questionnaire, and test. The analysis of the results of research that has done, (1) the results of student learning using Jigsaw II is proven to boost student learning outcomes, it is proved in the first cycle measures the average score of students increased to 87.55. With 59.25% classical completeness. In the second cycle of the average score of students increased again to 88.53. With classical completeness 88.46%. (2) measures on Jigsaw II is a groups learning. The group, consisting of the original group and the group of experts. When students have returned from the expert group. Then each member of the expert group should teach groups of friends in their respective homelands. (3) The student's response to the Jigsaw II as very positive. In the first cycle the average score of students amounted to 40.14. In the second cycle the average score of students increased mennjadi 41.00. The application of this is proven to improve student learning outcomes, and highly welcomed by the students of class IX3 SMP Widiatmika. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca teks cerpen di kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja setelah penerapan metode membaca PQRST dan metode membaca SQ3R, (2) untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh penerapan metode membaca PQRST dan metode membaca SQ3R terhadap kemampuan membaca teks cerpen di kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian quasi experimental design dengan desain penelitian time series design. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode PQRST dan SQ3R dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen sebagai variabel bebas, hasil membaca teks cerpen sebagai variable terikat. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 65 orang siswa kelas XI TKJ yang dipilih menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes. Data dianalisis dengan teknik Manova berbantuan program komputer SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan membaca teks cerpen di kelas XI TKJ 1 setelah penerapan metode membaca PQRST tergolong cukup dengan rata-rata 65,3, sedangkan kemampuan membaca teks cerpen di kelas XI TKJ 2 setelah penerapan metode membaca SQ3R tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata 58,3; (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh penerapan metode membaca PQRST dan SQ3R terhadap kemampuan membaca teks cerpen di kelas XI TJK 1 SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil pascates kelompok PQRST lebih besar daripada hasil pascates kelompok SQ3R (65,3 > 58,3). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca teks cerpen siswa yang menerapkan metode PQRST lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan membaca teks cerpen siswa yang menerapkan metode SQ3R di kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. Kata Kunci : Kata kunci: metode PQRST dan SQ3R, hasil membaca teks cerpen This study was aimed (1) to determine the ability in reading text short stories in class XI SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja after applying the PQRST method and SQ3R method in reading, (2) to determine the differences effect of applying the PQRST method and SQ3R methods in reading of ability to read text short stories in class XI SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. This study was used a quasi-experimental research design with time series. The variable in this research is the application of SQ3R PQRST methods in learning and text stories as independent variables, the results of text reading short stories as the dependent variable. The sample of the research was 65 students of class XI TKJ was selected using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling. Data was collected using test method. Data were analyzed by using SPSS computer Manova program aided data analyst 16. The method was used in this research using descriptive method and statistical methods. The results showed that (1) the ability to read text short stories in class XI TKJ 1 after application of the PQRST method in reading was categorized as well with the average post-test score of 65.3, while the ability to read the text of the short story in class XI TKJ 2 after the application of the SQ3R method of reading was categorized as enough with an average post-test score of 58.3; (2) There is a difference effect of the application of SQ3R methods and PQRST method in reading. The application of the PQRST method in reading gave better results to students at class XI of SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja than applying the SQ3R method. PQRST method was better than SQ3R method. This is evidenced from the post-test PQRST groups larger than post-test results SQ3R group (65.3> 58.3). It can be concluded that the ability to read text stories of students who apply PQRST methods higher than the ability to read text stories of students who apply SQ3R method in class XI SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja.keyword : Keywords: methods PQRST and SQ3R, the reading of the text stories
