Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to find out the background to the Gedong Kirtya Museum holding the Museum Joint Learning Program, (2) to find out how the Joint Learning Program is implemented at the Gedong Kirtya Museum. In this research, researchers used descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data collection was carried out by collecting data through observation, interviews and document study. The results of the research show that the Learning Together with the Museum Program aims to make the government's program a success and introduce this very valuable cultural heritage to the younger generation and the implementation of the Learning Together with the Museum Program has been carried out well by the Gedong Kirtya Museum, the museum has also held competitions or outreach activities regarding the existence and collection of the Gedong Kirtya Museum which involves educational institutions. Therefore, indirectly the Gedong Kirtya Museum has introduced cultural heritage that is worth preserving. Keywords: Museum, Preservation, Local Culture

Abstract

The Anak Agung Pandji Tisna Biography Museum is a museum that displays collections related to the life journey of Anak Agung Pandji Tisna with a building built with traditional Balinese carvings. The aims of this research are; (1) To find out the background to the establishment of the Agung Pandji Tisna Children's Biography Museum, (2) To find out about the collection of the Agung Pandji Tisna Children's Biography Museum which has the potential to become a center for preserving literary works in North Bali. The research method used is qualitative research through a collection process using interviews, observation and document study methods. The results of the research show that the Anak Agung Pandji Tisna Biography Museum was founded by Anak Agung Ngurah Brawida as a form of respect for the literary figures of the new generation of poets and as the initiator of the tourist destination and the name "Lovina". The Agung Pandji Tisna Children's Biography Museum has a collection of 1,986, consisting of print collections and artifacts. The print collection it owns presents a variety of literary works, so the collection can be used as a source of literary information. However, there are several obstacles faced in maximizing its potential as a center for the preservation of literary works, including the lack of competent human resources, limited funds to manage the museum, lack of encouragement or assistance from the government, lack of promotion by the museum to introduce its existence, and the building. narrow and less strategic.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were; (1) To determine the utilization of the collection inimproving the skills of vocational students at the Triatma Jaya Singaraja Tourism SMKSschool, (2) To find out the obstacles of Triatma Jaya Singaraja Tourism SMKS students inutilizing the collection in their library. The research method in this study is to use descriptivequalitative research methods with informant determination techniques, namely purposivesampling with snowball sampling. This research was conducted at Triatma Jaya SingarajaTourism High School. The data collection techniques that researchers use are observationtechniques, interviews, and document studies to facilitate obtaining data at the research site.The results of the research obtained by the researchers said that the library collection of TriatmaJaya Singaraja Tourism SMKS could not be maximally utilized to improve student skills at theTriatma Jaya Singaraja Tourism SMKS school. The library collection of Triatma Jaya SingarajaTourism SMKS still needs additional collections, both from the hospitality department and theculinary department. In addition to library collections that cannot be maximally utilized, thereare also obstacles faced by students of Triatma Jaya Singaraja Tourism SMKS in utilizing thecollection, including limited library collections, damaged book collections, and librarylocations that are far from the reach of students.

Abstract

This research aims (1) to identify how Digital Reading Corners (POCADI) are used in an effort to increase people's reading interest in Buleleng Regency. (2) To find out the obstacles faced by the Buleleng Regency Regional Archives and Library Service in the Digital Reading Corner (POCADI) service. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with informant collection techniques using purposive sampling and snow ball sampling. This research took place at the Digital Reading Corner (POCADI) of the Buleleng Regency Regional Archives and Library Service. Data collection in this research used observation, interview and document study techniques. The results of this research are that the Digital Reading Corner is a relevant innovation in supporting increased public literacy in the digital era. Its presence is based on the need to provide wider, faster and more efficient access to information through digital technology. This program not only provides wider access to information, but also empowers people to become more independent in seeking and utilizing knowledge. By continuing to increase collaboration and innovation, the Digital Reading Corner can become an effective model in supporting literacy development in Indonesia, as well as proving that libraries remain relevant amidst dynamic technological and social changes.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to (1) determine the perceptions of Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja Middle School students towards the Muhamadiyah 2 Singaraja Middle School Library. (2) To find out the perceptions of SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja students regarding the ideal school library. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with informant collection techniques using purposive sampling. This research took place at the Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja Middle School Library. Data collection in this research used observation, interview and document study techniques. The results of this research are that the majority of Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja Middle School students have a good perception of the Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja Middle School library. According to them, the Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja Middle School library has an incomplete collection, but the novel collection is less diverse, the library space is less strategic and comfortable, the services and librarians are friendly. Apart from that, the majority of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja have a perception that the school library is less than ideal, namely a library that lacks complete and varied collections with rooms that are less strategic and comfortable, which are managed by friendly and professional management staff so that they can provide maximum service to his students.

Abstract

This research focuses on (1) What are the obstacles faced by SD Negeri 8 Banjar in the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS). (2) What efforts are made in overcoming obstacles in the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS). The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with a purposive sampling technique for collecting informants. This research took place in the Library of SD Negeri 8 Banjar. Data collection in this study uses observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. The result of this study is that SD Negeri 8 Banjar has not succeeded in implementing the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program until now.Before the Covid-19 pandemic, SD Negeri 8 Banjar had implemented the program, but it was only running temporarily and not optimally, until now the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program has not implemented it again. SD Negeri 8 Banjar faces various obstacles that can hinder the optimal implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program. These obstacles include a lack of understanding and commitment from several parties, both teachers, students, and library staff, not only that the implementation time is also an inhibiting factor for the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program, this is often an obstacle in creating a sustainable literacy culture.

Abstract

Lontar is one of the written cultural heritages with historical, educational, and spiritualvalue for the Balinese people. However, its preservation faces increasing challenges due toaging, environmental conditions, and the younger generation's lack of awareness. The GedongKirtya Museum plays a crucial role in safeguarding, documenting, and inventorying lontarcollections to ensure their preservation. This study aims to examine the process of inventoryingcommunity-owned lontar carried out by the Gedong Kirtya Museum and to identify thechallenges faced in its implementation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive methodwith data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document studies. Theresearch informants consist of Gedong Kirtya Museum managers, library staff, and communitylontar owners. The findings reveal that the inventory process includes identification,documentation, conservation, and digitization of lontar manuscripts. The main challengesencountered in the inventory process include environmental factors such as humidity and pestinfestations, limited human resources for preservation efforts, and low public awareness of theimportance of lontar as a cultural heritage.Keywords: Inventory, Lontar, Cultural Preservation, Gedong Kirtya Museum

Abstract

The purpose of this study is; (1) To increase public knowledge and awareness of the importance of rare lontar usada as part of valuable cultural heritage and traditional knowledge, (2) To find out the design of cultural literacy media in the form of digital comics. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method and the informant determination technique uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The author chose the research location, namely UPTD Gedong Kirtya. In this study, the researcher used observation, interview, and document study techniques to collect data in obtaining concrete data. From the results of research obtained by some, people do not know about lontar usada rare, especially those found in cities, but some people in rural areas still use the herbs written on lontar usada rare. From these results, the introduction of rare lontar usada is important to be introduced to the community because it has a value that is still relevant today as rare lontar usada contains medicinal herbs that have been used from the past to the present. In this introduction to lontar, the researcher uses digital comics, because with digital comics it is easier for readers to understand the content of the rare lontar. In the digital comic there are photos of the ingredients used as well as the efficacy of the ingredients for scattered treatment and how to use the herb

Abstract

TikTok has become an effective social media for conveying various information and promoting various services, including libraries. This article aims to find out the reasons for using social media TikTok as a means of promoting the library at SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja, how librarians use social media TikTok as a means of promoting activities at the SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja Library and what impact the promotion of library content via social media TikTok has on vocational school users. Negeri 1 Singaraja. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method and the technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling. In this research, researchers used observation, interview and document study techniques to collect concrete data. From the research results obtained by researchers, they found that library accreditation was one of the reasons why the SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja library used TikTok as a promotional medium for its facilities and services. Librarians use various features on TikTok to upload various activities in the library and interact with users through available features such as the comments feature. However, there are still challenges in utilizing the TikTok social media, where there is no manpower to manage the social media, so posts on TikTok do not have a fixed schedule and there are still many other TikTok features that have not been utilized optimally. Abstract

bstract The objectives of this research are: (1) To understand the reasons why the Library of the Buleleng School of Health Sciences (STIKES) prefers the Kubuku Application for library digitization, (2) To identify the challenges faced by the Library of the Buleleng School of Health Sciences (STIKES) in implementing the Kubuku Application, (3) To determine the impact of the Kubuku Application on the reading interest of students at the Buleleng School of Health Sciences (STIKES). This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method and informant determination techniques using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The author chose the research location at the Buleleng School of Health Sciences (STIKES). In this study, the researcher used observation techniques, interviews, and document studies to collect data in order to obtain concrete data that accurately reflects what is in the field. From the research findings, the researchers discovered that the factor influencing the selection of the Kubuku Application as the digitalization of the STIKES Buleleng library is the benefits gained from implementing the Kubuku Application in the library. Then, in implementing the Kubuku Application at STIKES Buleleng, the library encountered several obstacles in its application. However, the library staff have thought of ways to overcome those obstacles. In addition, the impact felt during the implementation of the Kubuku Application affects both the teaching lecturers and the students, as well as impacting the literacy program at STIKES Buleleng.
